A gr8 and popular eatery in central kolkata. A buzz crowd.gr8 staff also.food is also decent and a bit overpriced but not much bad. A good place for snacks and chai.
One of the popular breakfast points of Kolkata, just opposite to Calcutta Stock Exchange. Their Sezuan Dosa is something I never had before, and can totally vouch for. Club Kachoris are ok. The cheese corn sandwiches are pretty tasty! And the final was Malai Toast. Butter on toast with a spread of Malai and sprinkle of sugar. Simple, yet so satisfying! And add tea to the list too!
We tried mushroom sandwich and corn cheese sandwich and it was awesome. The malai toast was also delicious. The kesar chai is highly recommended to try. I'm not a chai person but this one was worth burning my taste buds
The kesar kulhad chai is worth it. The segregation of food carts and their combined serving makes this road side an amazing place to go and fill your tummy!
Early Morning Visit. Chai was great here served in a Kullad only @50 Rs. Per kullad. Sandwich are really good. Uh can as well customize your sandwiches choices.
It's a great place to visit during weekends or Sunday morning to have delicious Tiffin & tea etc. It's a heaven for tea lovers.hear you can have world's most yummiest tea.milk tea flavoured with cardamoms. You can also have hear coffee, Lassi. The shop is though famous for it's unique Malai toast.you would gonna find so many marwari people to have breakfast here on Sunday morning.here you would find people of every classes. It's a crowded place.here you would have a feeling that you must be in a fair or festival. The shop is situated just opposite to Kolkata stock exchange at B. B. D road.
The food was good and was very fast but the seating is on the road with stools and benches so your food is exposed to a lot of dust and smoke as cars pass by and the servers though bring the food fast take a huge amount of tip considering its not a proper restaurant or cafe as such and the rates are a little too high.
It was great walking in the shop and having a cup of tea or a mud cup of lassi. It is located near the Stock Exchange and sitting arrangement is pretty good with a view of busy road. It should be remembered that the shop is not a restaurant. It doesn't have a shed even. It is just a Kona Shop as the name indicates and a few couple of chairs are arranged in front of the shop. Quality wise their bred butter, tea and lassi are of splendid tastes. I recommend it.
