Koshe Kosha, Hatibagan (কষে কষা, হাতিবাগান)

Very small place that is why visitors have to wait a long time during festive seasons. Decoration is very good.

অসাধারণ এক্সপেরিয়েন্স। মালাইকারি চিংড়ি বিরিয়ানি, ভেটকি চিংড়ির মেলবন্ধন । নাম শুনেছেন আগে কখনো? নাম শুনেই তো পেট ভরে গেছিল?
সাথে ছিল এই বিরাট মাপের ননভেজ থালি ।
প্রায় 14 রকমের আইটেম।

Too pricey compared to the quality and quantity of food. They serve stale food. There's no authenticity in their dishes. It runs only with the name of authentic bengali cuisine

One of the best restaurant where you must try kochi pathar jhol and murgir jhol. Apart from food are good but bit expensive

Good but very confined branch. Recipes were good. What made me fall in love with this restaurant is the availability of numerous Bengali short story books to check upon while munching.

Mutton Kasha is the signature dish of Koshe Kosha.
We have ordered Basmati Polao and Baked Paratha along with Mutton Kosha. Quality of food is always best.

Sitting area is very small, total 10-12 people they can accumulate.

It does a real justice to the taste of Bengali cuisines. Ample variety of typical Bengali foods are available here. Here non veg items are mainly popular. Along with all the items, special mention is deserved by basanti polaw, chital macher muithha and mochar ghonto. Mutton items are comparatively more spicy than being tasty. The only drawback of this restaurant is, it's very small and sitting arrangements are also not very comfortable owing to less leg rooms. They cannot club the tables due to less spaces to serve, but a good destination for tasting ideal bengali cuisines in the heart of North Kolkata situated by the Bidhan Sarani.

Ordered kacha lonka chicken as on menu that turned out to b totally bland sweet dish. There was not a single green chili found as mentioned in the menu moreover when asked the staff said kacha lonka murgi mane capsicum chicken, since when did kacha lonka become capsicum? Only the color was green gravy loaded with sugar. Horrible tasting. Sukto which ws like drenched in mustard paste. Overall horrible experience. Not to mention the price too high fr this garbage koshe kosha hathi Bagan. Cheaters

খাবারের স্বাদ খুবই বাজে। জলের গ্লাস থেকে আঁশটে গন্ধ। খাবারে (মোচার বড়া) চুল, যদিও পাল্টে দেওয়া হয়েছিল। মাংস ঠিক মত সেদ্ধ ছিল না। তবে গন্ধরাজ ঘোলের শরবত ছিল অতুলনীয়।
খাবারের পরিমাণ উপযুক্ত ছিল।
কর্মীদের ব্যবহার ও পরিবেশন প্রশংসনীয়।

Rder the non veg combo which included BASONTI POLAO & MOSHLA MURGHI. The combination was heavenly. Polao was very nice had a nice aroma felt like home cooked meal. Moshla murghi was like simple Chicken kosha but absolutely amazing ️ The chicken pieces were tender and flavourfully marinated. The spices made the dish top notch. All accompanied with salad made the meal complete.
The quality and quantity were no doubt excellent. The delivery was quick packing was done well.
Price - ₹126 only

Place is awesome, signature dish is Vetki fry, Bengali dish specialist, but the prices are too much

They have got a very wide variety of authentic Bengali dishes in their menu. The ambience is small and simple but very cosy. One thing I liked about the restaurant was that they maintain cleanliness.
We ordered for Egg chingri Devil as a starter. For main course we had Dhakai Kosha Mangsho with baked Parata and ruti. The preparation for the Devil was very good. The baked parata was good too. The kosha mangsho was good in quality but too hot (jhal / tikha). Overall it was a good experience.

Koshe Kosha provides you a wide range of Bengali dishes.the taste is really very good.i think the pricing is little-bit higher. I want to mention also one thing about the seating capacity.think it needs some improvements.thanks afterall

An ok ok restaurant.but during durga puja you can expect queues. Got the foods served in Thermocol plates

যখনই সময় হয় আর একটু বাঙালি খাবার খাওয়ার ইচ্ছে হয় তখনই আমি এখানে পৌঁছে যায়। আর এখানে যাব আর গলদা মালাইকারির বিরিয়ানি তা তো হতে পারে না। তাই মেনুতে ছিল-
১. Galda Malai curry Biriyani
২. Kachalanka chicken curry

Equivalent to Bhojohori Manna, though less popular in terms of grandeur and the prices may be overrated.

The taste is awesome. Its specially a bengali restaurant. All bengali dishes are available. But price is slightly high. Otherwise every thing is good. I liked it.

Nice ambience. Good staff behaviour. This place can accommodate few number of people though. Great food. Reasonable price.
Recommended food: vetki paturi, Masala Murg, basanti pualo, kosa mangso, fish cuttlet

Once upon a time, this place cooked mutton to absolute perfection. They're separate from the famed Golbari and if you craved some mouth watering mutton - Koshe Kosha was the go-to restaurant. Recently they've added some new items and the prices are so high that they can't be rationally justified. I was extremely disappointed to find that their famed mutton doesn't have the same taste and flavour it used to - the shop has reduced to an average shop with a high cost. I sincerely hope that they can rise to the modern challenges and expectations and return to their former glory.

Every thing is too much costly. Quantity of food is very small and quality of food is not similar to it's cost.

Place is very important. It is one busy junction point. People usually visited. We are staying very nearer to it. No need to order.

Food was good.but it's a Restaurant without having facility of credit card payments.which is creating difficulties amongst customers.

Food quality is good but place is so small can accomodate 7 to 10 people in one go. Ambience is below par. Quantity per plate is sufficient for two/ three

Small in size but specialist of mutton kasha & chicken kasha also very good apartment from these there are so many palatable food with familiar atmosphere

Their service and overall ambience was poor. They serves food via thermocol plates, bowls and plastic spoons. And the place is highly congested. I had to seat on a table just by the side of the main door and had to leave my seat several times while eating, because there is just a little passage for walking by the side of the table towards the main door. Their customer's waiting place is outside their restaurant. Taste was more or less good, nothing special. Whereas the other outlets of Koshe Kosha serves better food and tastes better also. I'll not recommend anyone to visit this outlet of Koshe Kosha.
