One of the most iconic restaurants of kolkata. But the food quality has reduced substantially. We ordered kofta, palak paneer and kali dal. Pathetic food overall all. At last thanks for serving us one last time.

Good food, would definitely recommend prawn butter masala and mixed fried rice but fish Orly was a disappointment, also the service was too slow.

The food and the ambience here was pretty good. Very suitable for a family/couple dining experience. The veteran staffs were also very traditional and polite in their approach, which is praiseworthy.

Went to Kwality restaurant, Park Street on 29: 6/23 afternoon. Utterly disappointed with the food preparation and service. A restaurant with so many years of nostalgic memories completely disappointed me. Went with my family for a lunch. Mutton RaRa was served undercooked. Pieces were rock hard and two plates got wasted. Complained about it to the senior person who took orders, but surprisingly the waiter came back with one piece of another semisolid mutton (we were four). No apologies or any proper replacements for the same. I shall not recommend any one to go there for a full course. Almost the attitude looked like a Government office, not bothered about customers.

I have been frequenting this place on and off for many decades and the quality of food has remained high quality and consistent throughout. We were two of us (we went for lunch on 10-Dec-2021) and we had Mutton Rogan Josh, Saag Mutton and Naans (and shared a caramel custard for dessert). The caramel custard was nothing to write home about but the Mutton Rogan Josh and Saag Mutton were absolutely top notch! As good as ever (and we have had these 2 dishes many times over the years). The naans were also just right!
We ate well but not wisely.

Ambience was good. Food is okay, nothing exceptional. Food is costly but tasty as well. Takes time to prepare, you should be patient here.

Quality of Kwality was an utter disappointment. Food served late I can understand but bad food served late is a disappointment. The chicken a la Kiev was promised 1 hour late, we said ok, only to be told after 10 mins that it's not available.

Veg au gratin took 40 mins and it was all maida no cheese in the white sauce.

Really? What happened to you guys?

Interior decoration is lethargic. Furniture are old fashioned. Food tastes are average w.r. T to prices. Getting advantage of location

It is one of the best restaurant in Kolkata i have visited till date with the most decent and well maintained staffs and well behaved with a beautiful ambiance and the most tasty food they prepare over here and drinks they serve as well.

I heard about this place from many people but never really made it to this place until today. The place has a classic vibe like coffee house college street. The waiters here are all elderly people and mostly retired person it seems which I think is a sweet way to show care. Now coming to the taste part, We tried sizzlers and it was average. We also happened to order biriyani and it tasted normal not exceptional. I didn't know anything special dishes of them so maybe a little disappointed from that point. Otherwise I have a fair experience with them. Pay with dineout and get 10%+5% extra discount.

Highly overrated place. Mediocre food at best. Worst of all are the servers who pretend not to see or hear you. Running on just nostalgia. Trincas just next door has a fantastic staff and better food

Kwality was on my go to list for a long long time. The Chole Kulche, Tomato Fish, Reshmi Butter Masala and Fish Masala Kebab are the items I'll definitely recommend.

I went there today and it was a little simpler than before but still it's gorgeous the idols faces are beautiful and the pandal was also glowing

Food is not good, very very old staff. Should be ok for business meet, but not a family lunch/dinner event.

Food was great but the service was bad had to wait 45 mins for food to arrive due to staff shortage and mismanaged

The Restaurant is an old and well known one in Kolkata. They serve North Indian and Chinese food along with Coktails, Moktails and Alcohol. Their speciality dish is Dry Channa Masala which tastes very good. The prices are not too high and is value for money. The ambience is also good for Family and Friends.

The ambience is great. The starters came on time. The chicken tandoori was nice and the fish fingets were great too. Definitely try the russian salad. The mutton in the rogan josh was a little tight when iit should have been tender. Overall nice experience.

The place is noisy at the peak hours of lunch and dinner. The food is ok but the disgusting part is that the waiters keep on standing on your head while you eat. Their ears all through are on your conversation. You get no privacy and that takes away all the charm of dining.

Carries old charm and hospitality. But the interior needs better upkeep. Veg food served was really tasty

The place is okay. The ambience though seems good. The food ordered were really good except one: the dahi kabab. The one they serve isn't a dahi kebab for sure. But still a one time visit place.

Aweful. No one greeted, too suffocating, unprofessional staff, no variety in starters, orderd for alakeive but the waiter denied. Will never visit again.

I love the pindi chana at this place. One of the best in Kolkata. However the rest of the items have taken a backseat compared to what it was 30yrs ago.

This spread in Karim's is delicious! One of the best mughlai food I have tasted around the city.

This restaurant is so much wow! It's a multicuisine restaurant with a decorative sitting arrangements. The staffs are really polite and maintaining all the safety protocols of covid situation. They have two storeyed sitting arrangements. I felt the upper floor was more decorative. Coming to the food, each of the dishes were so delicious. We sticked to mainly Indian as well as ordered mutton chelo Biryani. The dishes are not that spicy but the flavour of different herbs melts in the mouth. Here charges are like 800 INR per person including taxes, if one eats full from starter to dessert.

The food is damn good! ️ But I suggest you not to have ice cream here it's not up to the mark, it's better if you try somewhere else!

Kwality is a restaurant nested in the heart of Kolkata and the restaurant zone of Park Street. Kwality has always been a favorite of our family. They have a blend of both Indian and continental cuisine. Their fried fish with tartar sauce is a delight. Felt so nostalgic. Their food still tasted the same as in the 60s. It's still the best. It is sad that the number of people visiting these heritage restaurants are dwindling.

A very old and historical restaurant with branches in all major cities of India, must try dishes here are tandoor items and thier chole. Good north indian food, some continental dishes are ok, would recommend it for mainly north Indian food vegan or non vegan.

Ummmm. The Chelo Kabab Biryani was just out of the world. A list visit for your gastronomical satisfaction. Thanks to Kwality Team for maintaining authenticity!

It one of the best restaurant at Park Street, Kolkata. Best taste and fresh foods are available here along with liquor. People floks here for north Indian foods. After visiting you wont like any other restaurant for best quality foods at Park Street.

Was here for lunch a few days back, I did hear a lot about this place but never really got a chance to visit but finally I did and this place is definitely going to be my go to place now.
This legendary restaurant is located at Park Street and mainly caters to North Indian, Continental and Chinese Cuisines.
The Kebabs like the Reshmi Kebabs and Fish Tikka is a must try, so well prepared and succulent!
For the mains, Kulcha with Mutton Rogan Josh, Saag Chicken and Paneer Butter Masala was just perfect. The mutton was cooked to perfection and so was the Chicken, I've never had such a delicious preparation of Saag Chicken to be honest!
Also the Pindi Chana is one of a kind paired with Bhatura.
They have also come up with this wholesome platter: Punjab ka Mehak Platter which is humungous serving winter delicacies like Sarson ka Saag, Makki ki Roti, Kali Daal, Laccha Paratha and a Mutton Curry for the Non Veg version and Mixed Vegetables for the Veg Version along with a delicious Gajar Ka Halwa.
This platter will be available throughout the winter months.
Loved the food and service, the prices are affordable keeping in mind the quantity & quality.
Will be coming back here real soon.

I always love to take food in Kwality whether in Park Street or in Ballygunj. A great variety of quality food. Fish fries are excellent.

Food not upto the mark.a lot of scope for improvement.not expected from a vintage restaurant like kwality.

We a family of 10 pax went to Kwality on 25th Dec 2019 @ 8: 30 pm. Before coming we had requested for reserving a table and were told that they do not take reservation, it is first cum first serve. We had to wait outside till 9: 30 pm till we cud get a table for 10, which is understood being 25th Dec. We ordered 3 chicken sizzler, 4 mutton Biryani, 1 chicken fried rice with chilly chicken, 2 butter nan with malai kofta. After 20 mins we were told sizzler will take time.on asking we were told 15 mins so we informed we r willing to wait.but serve the other dishes.which they say was ready.after 40 mins around 10: 10 nothing appeared so we called the waiter. He said they r running short of chicken so only veg sizzler was possible. How annoying.they realised this after 40 mins? We said give us 2 veg sizzler but at least make 1 chicken sizzler, but what about the other dishes which were ready 15 mins ago? They promised to serve the other dishes.but we were waiting till 10: 40.when we started losing patience.around 10: 50,2 veg sizzler and 1 chicken sizzler was served.but nothing about the other dishes which were supposed to be ready much before. On our surprise we realised the veg sizzler which were heavily prices 395/- pp, in one of the dish the veg cutlet didnt appear.we r not regulars at Kwality, and since in one it was appearing, we presumed they have missed in the other one. When the waiter was called, he vehemently denied saying cutlet was served in both.meaning somewhere between the kitchen and our table the other was lost. Till the the other dishes biryani, fried rice etc were not served. Can u imagine after more than an hour? Around 11 the other dishes were served. To our utter dismay the portions and quality was disgusting and the attitude of the waiter was he has given us more than expected. Our mood for the evening which was late night at that point was totally spoilt. There was no supervision from senior staff even though he was summoned. It is painful and rightly understood why people poorly rate this restaurant.

Dec 25,2019- I went to kwality with my entire family on Christmas day. After we ordered our dinner, it took a lot of time to give even the starters, which was supposed to be served along with soup. Then, we ordered 'fish mayonnaise' which was a lot of fruits lathered with mayonnaise and cream. Needless to say, no fish could be found. On telling the manager, he rudely denied the accusations and even the service was not at par. Whether it was pressure due to the ever-increasing crowd or the time taken in the kitchen to prepare the food, the overall experience at Kwality Ballygunge was not like the other experiences I've had here.

Quality of food degrades. I was going this place every weekend but now place is not at all good. Please avoid this place. Your order may go to another table.

Compared to current pedigree restaurants in Kolkata, Kwality needs to get back its erstwhile quality. Service is not as good as it was. The food, although still as tasty, lacks digestive quality. Ambience is dingy so those looking to avoid the brights & limelights, this is a good fit.:) For the rates, there are better options. I've been generous in giving this 3 stars mainly because of food taste, old world 'shadows' & location.

Food is just Okayish. Service and quality needs to improve. There is heavy competition in the market.

I ordered Tandoori Grilled Prawns (Rs. 450) along with one other item today from Swiggy (Rs. 950) and I expected the prawns to be of decent size but when received the prawns it looked like peanuts very small. I just wanted to let the Qwality Management know that your service and food quality is no longer the same.please look into the same because if it goes on like this you will lose a hell lot of customers very quickly.

One of the iconic and oldest restaurants in Kolkata. It's north Indian fare has been consistently excellent at all times. Channa is an all time favorite along with butter Naan. Serves drinks.

This place must have been fun when it was opened. It has lost much of its style due to not being kept up. The decor is warn down and very dated. The food was good (Fried Fish) and there was so many staff on duty that the could hardly fail at providing good service.
