Le ROI Digha Hotel, West Bengal

Neat, spacious rooms with great ambiance. Check in was quick, hassle free with prompt service. Car parking, restaurant, room service. Prime location near railway station.

The hotel is quite good and the tv has all the channels in it but the bathroom is small also hot and cold labelling is wrong. It is also next to the railway station. The hotel, overall is quite good

Pros - Hotel is on the road and next to railway station, easily accessible, parking facility and fully secure. Variety of food available in nice restaurant. Food was good except few misses.

Cons - Location away from Sea beach. Food was good although the idli they serve was not fresh and had to be returned.

My advice - Don't book room with meal option as then your option would be limited and they don't serve sea food in the same. Book only room and then keep your option open for food.

This hotel is an ideal place to stay in Digha if you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This is not for someone who is looking for a sea view or something like that.
The hotel follows all the COVID safety protocols. Mask is compulsory in all common areas. All around the hotel auto-dispensing or foot dispensing sanitisers are provided.

Pros
1. Location: The hotel is right beside the railway station. It has private access to the platform. The location of the hotel is such that old Digha sea beach is about 1.5km and new Digha sea beach is 10 mins walk (we walked with our 4-year-old to and from the beach). Other places of interest can be reached easily via auto or battery operated three wheelers known as Toto. Easily available from the front of the hotel. They also have a travel desk.
2. Cleanliness: Very neat and clean hotel. They have a "save the water and environment" initiative and hence they don't change the towels or bedsheets by default but only on request. You can easily do it either by placing the labels as per instruction or requesting a housekeeping service desk. Had no problem with that.
3. Staff: Staff behaviour and support were very good.
4. Room and amenities: I had booked a deluxe room. The room itself was very good and quite big. All the amenities and electricals were working perfectly. It was very well insulated. Did not hear any sound from the station or the road. The room had an electronic lock that can only be opened by the RIFD room key (Be careful when you carry it with your mobile. The card can get erased and will have to reprogram).
The hotel had a restaurant and bar. Food was very good and tasty and portion-wise good enough for one adult. However, it is a bit overpriced.
5. Service: The housekeeping service was very good and so was room service. They were always punctual and prompt in service. Complimentary WiFi is also provided.

Cons
1. Room and amenities: The bathroom was very small. Someone of a fairly large size will find it difficult to move around freely inside. The bathroom had both cold and hot running water but lacked a tap. This became a problem for us especially after coming from the beach. The bathroom was the reason I have not given a five star.
Overall had a pleasant stay.

P. S. - You can get a 10% discount on food bills if you give them a 5-star rating.

Nice hotel beside Digha RLY Station. All rooms are well decorated and well serviced. Delicious food served. Banquet Hall for meeting and conference. Online room booking is only process for booking. COVID 19 compliant place. Clean and sanitised. Room service is of satisfactory quality.

The hotel is right next to the Digha railway station. You can see the building when you get down from the train at Digha station. So location wise it is really good. The hotel is really beautiful and well maintained and the members of the hotel staff are really friendly and cordial. The hotel has a restaurant and the quality of food is also pretty good. Overall, we had an amazing experience in this hotel.

I did not stay here. But its just beside the digha station and opposite to it is the digha road and after that one has to walk for about 5 mins to reach the new digha sea beach ️

Lovely hotel with well done up airconditioned rooms. Restaurant clean & eloquent. Service customer friendly. Bar available with food. Prices reasonable. Location next to Digha railway station.

Awesome place to visit. Most recommended place in entire Digha. Unbelievable good behaviour from staffs. Amazing Hotel views & rooms are first class it's a 4 star hotel. The location is near at Digha train station. If you find a good deal then go for it

I am glad to have opted for Le ROI. The location is mid way between Old and New Digha, adjacent to the station.

The service is great, here. Rooms (opted for delux) are quite spacious, inhouse resturant's food is delicious. Location wise it's 5 mins walk from the beach.

Overall a comfy stay for a comfy trip @ Digha.

Superb Experience at Le Roi. Booked three rooms. Room was clean & maintained. Sanitised Toilet. Excellent hospitality. Food was very good. Located next to Digha Railway Station. Would revisit this property whenever planning Digha trip.

Overall very nice. In house restaurant food is very expensive as they charge 18% on food bill. Better you try food outside.

Very nice location, adjacent to the railway station. Communication is also very good. Very good and well behaved staff. Room is very clean. Ambience is also very good. Staffs are very hospitable and caring. I would strongly recommend people going to digha to stay in this hotel.

Had stayed for 2 days 10/9/21 to 12/09/21) n had booked 2 deluxe rooms. Good hotel, good food, very well mannered staff. Their restaurant services are really appreciable. Cleanliness is very good. The total outflow was 17.5k with complimentary breakfast. Only problem was with housekeeping - the tv as well as the intercom were not working in both rooms. On the first day when it was pointed out, it was immediately attended to, but on day 2, same condition. The intercom was not working in both the rooms. On being asked I was told they have invited quotations. Added to that, today morning, when I visited the washroom at 4 am, the taps were dry till 5.30 am. On being asked, I was told, the motor needed to be switched on. Such excuses are unacceptable. Further they keep the checkout time as 9 am to suit the train timings, so that they have 1.5 hrs to get the room ready. On top of this, when the intercom and tv don't work and the taps go dry in the morning, it's disgusting. I tried the mobile no at 5.20 am, but no response. But for these shortcomings and the problem of EXCUSITIS, the stay was not bad.

Overall nice stay.
Food was good.
All hotel and restaurant Stuffs are very well behaved.
Room Service was very prompt.
There is ample parking space.

Cons:
Room cleanliness can be improved further.
There was frequent water supply issue at washroom.

Good place
Very hospitable staff. Right beside the railway station and hence well connected and easy to find.
Food is very good as well. The only downside is that the hotel requires some maintenance work on the walls of the rooms as well as the outside. The damages have been done by recent cyclones and other depressions so no fault of the hotel authorities here.

Very Nice Hotel, Well Trained Staff with very good behavior. Extremely tasty foods with very reasonable pricing. Complete package of full on masti stay.

Not well managed according to the cost. Food is over costly but not upto the mark. Rather one can get good food outside in one third price. I will never book such a hotel again.
