The staffs are not attentive at all…they attend according to their preferences…I have faced these problems several times at the art and craft section…that person make me stand there and attending others (who came after me) because my product is inside…if he is busy then other sales persons who r not attending customers they can also help…but no one is helping and even he is not asking anyone to check the product inside…this is the last day scenario…I think they should work in retail marketing field …they will automatically learn how to deal customers
One of the largest stockists of Pen, Pencils, Notebooks and other writing, drawing materials. This shop also keeps board games, story/fiction books. School going to college goers, this place is visited by all sects of people. This shop now has quick off the shelve grocery items also in the catalogue.
A very old but efficient shop. There is nothing you cannot get there. Only things that are a bit modern can't be found there because they are new. But all refills can be found. Very nice shop 5 Star
A rubbish store! In total I've been to this store 3 times and everytime i came back empty handed coz they don't have anything. You ask for anything, they'll show attitude and say we don't have it. It's not like I'm asking for Japanese stationary items! The staffs are so uninterested, always showing attitude. The lady at the pen section doesn't know how to deal with customers. Just by looking and speaking with the staffs your whole day will get spoilt. And the worse thing is that they keep you waiting for so freaking long! You have have to repeat the name of the item several times to get their attention or just to make them understand. Are they deaf or what?
1. They charge way higher than "Bright" which is right across the street (for example. A ream of paper costs at least 35 INR higher at Lokenath Paper House). 2. It totally feels the staff is least interested to interact with the customers. 3. You really have to wait for a while to get your query answered or to get the first step of help. 4. I am not buying anything again from them.
Have been buying all of my stationery needs here for the last 22 years- always so lovely seeing the same faces I have grown up seeing since class 5! Lokenath Paper House was an integral part of my childhood!
I went to buy instruments for engineering drawing and they miscalculated the prices and billed us way more than the actual amount. Never going back to this shop again.
Good experience with books, educational accessories, and also attached food items section. Collection of books is really good for a stationary shop, better to say a very mini but useful stationary complex it is.
One of the largest stationary shops in south Kolkata. From engineering drawing equipments, copies, chart papers to story books, white board, a place where you can get all.
One of the few shops in Kolkata which is properly stocked and having good variety. The staff are very helpful and shopping here is very good experience. The owners are known to me and they are thorough Gentlemen. In a nutshell it's an amazing experience.
Excellent stock of stationeries and books, whatever I ordered I got it delivered at home with discounted price. Thank u Lokenath paper house. Keep it up.
Very good customer service, they will answer you about your product enquiry through message almost then and then. Good behaviour and Good Variety of their product. Love it.
A bit overpriced for some stuff but overall has a really great collection of stationery, art supplies, stuff for laboratory classes and allied objects. There is even a mini collection of books if you're looking for gifting options and an assortment of confectionery.
Excellent variety and very gentle behavior of staffs. They have recently started a grocery store too adjacent to the paper store. I searched for a ball for my little child. They consulted within them several times and gave me about five options! Really appreciate this attitude of selling! Keep it up!
