Food is superb, so is the behaviour of the staff. It's more of a casual bar and restaurant. If you want music with good backgrounds for snaps this won't be a good option, but if it's solely about food and drinks, go without a second guess.

The place looks like a heritage from the inside. Gives you the coffee house vibes. It certainly feels sad to see this amazing restaurant getting lost under the heavy social media marketing of the current trendy spots.

Situated just opposite of Bar-b-q, if you wish to avoid the queues of the hotshots of Park Street, secretly slip into Magnolia and you'll be greeted with warm welcome, nostalgia, and amazing food!

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant in my lifetime.
Horrible service and horrible food.
The only reason I didn't give them 1 star because somehow by God's grace they managed to cook the fried items much better than the rest things served on that night.

So we went to this place on Saptami night (2nd October). Owing to a dry day occasion, the crows was less. However, we saw the tables and floor were not clean. We requested the attendants to clean it up. When asked to turn on the fans since the ac was not working properly they told us the fans in the room were for show. They don't work!

- Fish Finger
- Manchow Soup
- Chicken Cordon Bleu
- Pork Steak
- Mixed Sizzler
- Chicken Sizzler
- Whole Grilled Bhetki

The fish fingers were good and so was the Chicken Cordon Bleu. Now coming to the horror part. The manchow Soup was served without the fried chow. Only after we informed them they realized it was missing. Grilled bhetki was tasty but they completely missed out serving the herbed rice and when reminded they literally served one bowl of steam rice. Unbelievable!
The sauce for everyone was almost the same. They served the same steam rice with Chicken Sizzler.no butter, nothing.

The most ominous part was that the pork steak served was not clean. We could literally see the body hair in the steak and it was gross. People couldn't eat properly.

The worst part was that the manager attendants were not even bothered to understand or realize that they have insanely messed up all the food. They just casually called the cook and told him to learn from the mistakes and sent him off. That's it.

Please God forbid.never ever visit this place.

Very worth Service and management. Totaly Frustrating restaurant. Maneger was very bad manures and telling lie. Employee are very rude and Very bad manures. We can't except from this kind of restaurants.service very very poor. Service another thing all employees are very bad manures. In the parkstree most third class restaurant is this. Don't go with your friends and family. You can choose any restaurant without this. I can explain the details of another review.

Newly designed restaurant. The pork sizzler was good but we were cheated on the Cocktail. It was more than a Mocktail than a Cocktail.

Descent place to dine at Park Street. Warm welcome by aged staff, feels like home. Affordable price with calm and cozy ambience.

Food was really good. And the staffs are equally well behaved. We have tried cream of crab soup, chicken soup, crispy fried chicken (menu of the day), Mixed Rice and Chilo Prawn. All the preparations are well executed. Specially, the cream of crab soup and crispy fried chicken served with French Fries. Located in the heart of Park street just opposite to Park Hotel is one of the old and nostalgic restaurant in Kolkata. This restaurant is budget friendly with quality preparation. This is a bar cum restaurant so one can varieties of cocktails nad hard drinks along with the quality food.

One of the oldest and famous restaurant in Park Street …. Famous for food and hospitality…. Old timers call lovingly —- MAGS…. Have a great bar and restaurant and dining also …. Over the years the place changed a bit they have well decorated ground floor dining floor …. But what has not changed is the staff and the hospitality and the air …. We always feel at home —- chatting away with our group of friends …. One of the places where u feel like going for a pure —- ADDA …… this place is a great joint as the food is just awesome prices are extremely reasonable with great taste leaving u hankering for more and sips of whiskey or beer or vodka or cocktails u name all served with equal elan ……… the place never age ………. We went there on 24th December 2021 evening, that day they have limited menu, we ordered fish parmegana, i asked about the preparation, they told me it will be served with rice, when its comes to our table, i didn't found any rice when i asked they told rice is not available thats why they served french fries, now when we going to eat then we found its not fish, its chicken, again I asked is the correct order served or not, the attendant then fumbling and told me he will go and asked the cook, after few minuets he came and told me, the dish is same but they wrongly use the chicken not fish, then I asked about the price again they fumbling, after some time attendant came and told me that they will give Rs. 50 discount but I refused to avail the discount, I told them give me proper bill i will pay the amount, then they simply pen through the bill and they taken same amount.
My observation:
1.why they are allowing me discount
2. When I asked system generated bill they can't give
3. The chicken is not in the menu list. Then how they prepared the same.
4. The bivabiour of the manager is very rood, his approach is "jo diya hai ohi khao"
Secondly we order caramel custard when they served that is noting but a pice of fruit cake.
Such a old restaurant act like this, kind of cheating, bill isattached.

Absolutely great value for money. Nice place and good service. Must try Cheese Cherry pineapple with your favorite drink

It was overall good. Drinks were reasonably priced. But AC was not working properly. Decorations were average. Overall pocket friendly bar.

Very bad. Very rude behavior. Never go there unless absolutely necessary. Even then avoid it. Its very dirty as well

Price is higher than it should be, but less in compared to the location of it. Old style restaurant, waiters have no idea about menu or food. Food is not that bad, not that good either. It's a saver, but not to expect much. Washroom available, live music is present. Good to go for friends in group, probably not a great option for a romantic date.

Its a great and cozy place in park street, since childhood am going here n nothing has changed. A must one time visit to get lost in the city of joy

For tastefully done decor with old Calcutta charm, wonderful colonial food, pocket friendly nightluts it's a must visit to get the feel of park Street

The Lamb preparation is really good, my mom relishes it a lot, good ambience, one of the oldest in the city, in the Park Street area, please do try it out, and they gave me a 30% discount on Mother's Day today, thank you Magnolia and keep up the good work!

Age old. Modern. Good decor. Lovely service. Been going there for years. The best place for continental food. Other cuisines are equally good. Highly recommended.

This is a family friendly restaurant at the ground floor and its bar is at the first floor. I visited the bar, namely Mags. Thr ambience of Mags is not so cool but Magnolia is a pretty place. Prices are quite reasonable and foods are pretty good.

Good experience although we were came back from Minarva theatre & hungry we found it near orders parathas & kababs. It was good & reasonable price, no cold drinks available then. Only Lassi

I always love going to this place. A touch costly but they compensate the same with their service.

Chicken Drumsticks Masala - try this.

Two chicken leg pieces cooked just perfect in a slightly spicy gravy with a tinch of lemon and coriander.

Try this with butter naan.

Really a Nice and Cozy place to have lunch and dinner with Friends and Family. They serve good and tasty food. It's located right opposite to Oxford under Park Hotel at Park Street Kolkata. They serve hard drinks as well. Food Price are reasonable and ambience is welcoming. It's very spacious. They have proper and separate washrooms for women and men. Their service is also good. Loved their ice cream which they prepare themselves. I took vanilla and it was creamy and full of flavour.

In the heart of Park Street, (next to Flury's), Calcutta's wining n dining area, for the last 70 years.

Nice place to hang out with friends. We went there on 31st evening and it was not as crowded as other places but the dishes were good and the drinks were just ok nothing special.

Food, service & it's location is what attracts me. Although I am not a regular visitor but sometimes I go with my colleagues. It is an old style restaurant known for quality Chinese food delicacies.

Duck with barbecue sauce.exceptionally yum and tasty.liked the flavour. Too good must try. Liked the ambience and hospitality.

We are having our dinner tonight at this  restaurant serving Traditional Retro  Continental  cuisine located on the  Park Street.
The following is my  experience at the restaurant (Rating in a Scale of 5,5 being highest) : -
A. Location: On  Park Street next to Flurry's. (Rating 5)
B. Cuisine: Retro styled Continental  cuisine. (Rating 4.5)
C. Ambience: The decor of the place is simple and looks run down. Urgent renovation and restoration looks long overdue (Rate 3).
D. Food tried: We started with Cream of Mushroom Soup (Rs. 150). They were having Special Duck menu and I love duck meat. I ordered Roasted duck meat with BBQ Saucu (Rs. 475) my wife went for Roast Lamb with English Mustard (Rs. 385). The soup was creamy excellent and served with Bread Stick. Roast duck was also well prepared and served with mashed green pea and roast vegetables. It   was great on pallate. Quantity was perfect and value for money. Lamb was slightly hard but taste good and served and warm bed rolls, butter and sauted potatoes. (Rating 4)
E. Food taste: Food was  well prepared (Rating 3.75)
F. Food presentstion: Food presentation was standard as  in moderate restaurant of its class in Park Street area. (Rating 3.5).
G. Service: The  service of the restaurant is excellent. The staff was very courteous. Food was served fast. (Rating 4).
H. Value for money: With Rs. 1060 for the proper meal for 2 of us, it was quite reasonable . (Rating 4)
I. Overall experience: Good (Rating 3.75)

Really polite staff and good food. The ambience was calm and soothing. No clue why I didn't choose to dine out at the place before. But i'll definitely visit the place again.
