Price of meal so much, But food quality is good. Veg meal price 90 Rs now, which should be maximum 70 Rs according to their items.

As per it's reputation, so far my experience is concerned, it is a mediocre hotel. They are not concerned about hotel Cleanliness. Foods are so so.

Great food, unlimited quantity. Meal system. Owner and stuff Well behavior. Right choice for breakfast lunch and dinner

Careless manager, miscommitment, unjustified prices and the worst level of services defines this place.
My suggestion is not to visit this place, rather find some new and good eateries in and around Bolpur.

I love this place. When ever I go there it feels something special. Food quality and test both are good. If u visit Bolpur try at least one meal.

A nice hotel for good quality and freshly cooked Indian food. You will get few options while choosing your lunch or dinner and foods are without any decoration or garnishing just like a common hotel and so have a cheap rate. The most interesting fact is -here is a spacious wash area for toilet, latrine or even you can take bath if you have extra clothes and you need to do so. And meal system available here. ENJOY.

Quality of the food is average and just enough to satisfy your hunger but the service is very much disappointing. The guy who was serving was very mean towards the customer.

It was disheartening to see someone dusting the left over rice on table with BROOM. It was hard for me to believe that the table on which my plate would be placed is clean with broom.

If you don't care about the hotel's service and OK with food quantity, anyone can come to this hotel.

Mahamaya Hotel, One of the oldest and famous Hotel in Bolpur, West Bengal, it was established in 1950, by Mr. Gopal chandra Bhattacharya. Location Shantinekatan road, chowrasta bolpur. All kind of Bengali foods are available in lounch and dinner. The quality of foods are to delicious.
Different types of food thali are available in reasonable price, like moton thali, chicken thali, fish thali and egg thali and veg thali.
Two types of sabji, dal, rice, chatni, papad and particular non veg item served there
Coupon system is there for each kind of thali, water bottles etc. First pay the amount for the selected thali and coupon to be given.
Price is affordable (moton thali is only Rs. 170) and taste is awesome

For lunch and dinner, this is the best place in Santiniketan. The staffs are also very good. They serve quality food.

Food is good enough to pass through the mouth. But I threw the egg curry which couldn't pass through my mouth. They often serve old food.

Very good behaviour and foods are really tasty. I liked their food distribution system most likely. Feel of occasions.

This hotel was established in 1950, just few years after Indian independence.
This is one of the oldest and finest places to dine if you are staying in Bolpur and have an appetite for Bengali food.

I had visited this place on 28 Dec 2021 for lunch on a friend's recommendation and surprisingly found this place to be the best for bongs. It is very near to Bolpur Railway station.

It has the tastiest food and well behaved staff and management.
Lodging and dormitory facilities are also available at a cheap rate here.
The highlight is that, the food here is the tastiest you will ever get in Santinekatan.

They serve hot food and the prices are not very much but the taste is not so great. Then again I could not find a better option. Go there if you don't have any other options.

For pure bengali dish it's a sure shot destination in bolpur. The hotel staff and management all are very generous and polite. More to that it has a touch of old bengali culture in it. And the food was really really delicious.

It is an amazing hotel. They give unlimited rice dal and curry in the plates u take. Plus there the rate is very less. The food is also very tasty and feels like homemade food

It's near from the bolpur rail station, The test of the food and price of the food are not match. The please was a huge parking problem

I took fish meal for Rs 100 and fish piece was large enough. Apart from fish, they gave two sabzi and musur dal. They also probably serve papad and chutney but I didn't ask for these two items and the waiters didn't give the papad and chutney. Overall, nice meal.

I was not satisfied may be liked by others. Meal system food, first you have to take coupon as per your choice (veg or non veg) meal then it will be served. Good for those who travelled long by road as they have lots of washrooms for ladies also.
