Sudden visit to this awesome place to fulfill morning hunger. Honesty one of the best kachoris of Kolkata I ever had. This shop is nearly heritage by the age and the quality is still to notch. Although it's a road side food joint but still you will find so many people from wealthy families having breakfast along with their kids and family members. It is also a heaven for morning walkers, a sip of their famous special tea will make you amazed be it winter, rainy or summer.

The food taste has changed specially the sabji. The puri remain same as usual it was since begining. In 2008 when I was almost a regular customer then I use to have lassi almost everyday and they served the lassi with spoon. It was soo thick. Last time when I had lassi it was soo light soo much water was added. Humble request to shop owner please main the quality. This shop has its own glorious recognize in most of South kolkata ppl mind. Please dont spil it and keep maintain the quality.
Hing Kachori ️ is believed to be originated somewhere in West Bengal and it's undoubtedly one of the most common and popular street foods of Kolkata. The use of "Hing" (Asafoetida) in the filling gives it's unique characteristic taste and flavour. Served with a spicy potato curry and pickled green chillies, ️ a delightful plate of hot Hing Kachori at *Maharaj* is pure bliss!
A plate of 4 Kachoris for ₹40 only!
I give a 5* for their taste, consistency, availablity, price and behaviour. This is a must visit place for Hing Kachori lovers.
