Maharaja Chat (Dilip da's Puchka Centre)

Regular phuchka are good. But there's one colddrink phuchka, ain't recommending. And overpriced.

It has good variety, inclusive of new innovative products. The Cost of chat is high but worth exploring once.

One of the best phuchka store around, serving multiple flavors of panipuri Or phuchka. Other dishes like doy papri chat is also good. Keep a budget of Rs. 100 per head, and you will have a very enjoyable snack.
The dishes are better ordered in half, as they come in wholesome quantities. Stands recommended

I visited yesterday with my daughter. Definitely the fuchkas and the water tastes fantastic, I personally felt it was bit overpriced.
The Aloo r dum was a discovery for us and I admit that it tasted the best I ever had in my life so far.
I’m a fuchka addicted person but cannot afford Dilip da every time.
Anyway, I recommend foodies to try at least once.

If you fancy eating a tasty but, pricey chaat near a garbage dump then go. For 100 bucks a plate, from a vendor with an attitude, the batata chaat is robbery in daylight!

I visit Dilip da from time to time because I never get the same taste and variety anywhere in Kolkata. People must visit at least once to taste Dilip da's Doi Phuchka but my favourite is nolen gur Phuchka but it is available only during the winter in Kolkata.

This place is very overhyped …went to try cold drinks phuchka over there…the size of phuchka was very small n taste was normal…nothing out of the world…It is also very overpriced … the price of 1plate cold drinks phuchka (10 pieces) is 100 …. Moreover what disgusted me most was the behaviour of the phuchka seller…he forcefully tries to sell more quantity …like I wanted to share one plate cold drinks phuchka with my mom but the seller (Dilip da) forced us to have 1 plate each (total 2 plates) in order to make more money… he did the same thing with another couple who were having phuchka along with us…. This kind of forceful behaviour is not at all appreciated…overall would not recommend this place at all

I had thumbs up phuchka and alur dum, I felt it so-so.
But I am really touched with the hospitality of the uncle. Very very nice person

Over hyped. Over priced. Food items not extraordinary. Over positive aspect is location and parking. Nothing special than neighbourhood phuchkawala.

Dilip da is fantastic person by nature and amaze the customers with his unique phuchkas dipped in sour, sweet, soft drinks and other flavours.his dahi phuchkas is also superb and aloo dum is fantastic too.

Seriously.why soooo hype?
This was the disgrace to the puchkas and though the fellow was very sweet to talk, but i don't have to pay 50 bucks for one plate only to have the sweet talk!

Worthless and absolute cheating. 15 pcs fuchka, 6 pcs dahi fuchka and 10 pcs alur dom costs 280 bucks. Taste was absolutely bogus. But their behavior was very good. Absolute cheating.

The rates are Rs 50 for 8 nos. Regular Sweet n Sour. The Dahi Fuchka shall cost Rs 100 for 6 nos.given in a plat.

I didn't find anything special about the offerings, apart from the variety the stall offers. I found the Rates exorbitantly high, more so because of the hype already created and location where the stall is.

However, the behaviour of the Owners is very courteous and he knows the skills of marketing his products very well. In the wake of Corona still lurking, so many local residents arriving to have a bite gives the confidence about the hygiene he might be maintaining.

In my opinion, the stall can be tried once for the sake of the reputation it has generated.

Dilip Da is one of my favourite. His hygiene on phuchka is unparalled. Try this, the best phuchka joint in the town

Not the place it used to be.
Not worth the price you pay.
Puchka was average. Aloo dum horrendous.
I guess the ingredients used are also below standard despite the price you pay is premium.

The one near chandu bhelpuri wala is a thousand times better.
