One of the oldest sweet shops which served delicious and quality sweets. I have tasted many times a different variety of sweets but recently I have placed an order which I brought all the way to Mumbai. Even after a week sweets was soft and the taste was fresh. They carefully packed my sweet box and I was thrilled when I shared sweets with my family and friends in Mumbai. Great Job to the Team. Thank you.

Very old and popular sweet shop in Serampore! Quality of sweets is very good! Price is little bit high but justified for the quality on offer!

I bought "Jol bhora" sandesh and "Chaner murki". There was no "Jol" (water) in it. Murki was not as it were in the past. Disappointed to some extent.

Very nice sweet shop. Lots of varieties of sweets which are a bit higher price. They also sell samosas for 7/- per piece, which are tasty. This shop is located in Goswami Para near Serampore station.

The main Mahesh Chandra shop is located in Mahesh, which is above 100 years old.famous for Gupo Sandesh.

But This shop has some speciality in "Rabdi", "makha sondesh", "Sita Bhog". In snacks they're good in making "Kachori " and "aloor dom".

This shop was well known for "Gutke sondesh with bata chini" and this comes from their ancestral recipes, it possess a very mesmerizing history of Serampore. But for this special sweet you have to go to their ancestral shop which is at 75, GT Rd Maniktala, Serampore.
