This is a perfect place for a weekend gateway. The ambience of the place is just amazing! Absolutely loved the hospitality that was provided to us by the owner and the staff. One should absolutely visit this homestay if you're going to Santiniketan. I'm actually eager to go there once again!

Excellent place to relax in serene atmosphere in the lap of nature. Excellent ambience coupled with the warmth of home, hospitality extended by the owners themselves and impeccable service with smile by all the staff members specially Arindam, Pradip and cook Kesto babu made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Want to visit again and again.

Lovely place well maintained indeed nice and family like ambience.
Still there are avenues for growth …. Food pricing are very high though the quality are not compromised but surely the quantity is not consistent, room service need to be improved. Breakfast is complimentary but we need to rely on the room packets for a cuppa no tea or coffee served with breakfast.

The Mahulboni Homestay is the must go destination in Bolpur. The room facilities, food, behavior of all staffs are toooo good. Lucky to meet the host in our visit. Their hospitality is just superb. Wish to visit in future again.

Firstly, the ambience of this place is absolutely the best. You are guaranteed to get mental peace here. The hotel is very neat and clean. It is a perfect getaway. If you're looking to spend a perfect weekend, this place is the absolute best. I had a wonderful time here. Also the food quality is too good. And lastly, the hospitality here is just great. The owners were nothing but nice and kind to us. All in all, this place is a must visit.

I have a lot of wonderful things to say. Mahulboni - An amazing place for a getaway with family. Very Serene and Calm ambience, great food, extremely pleasant staff and most important, the hosts - Mrs and Mr Basu Mullick. They have been so wonderful and warm. My wholehearted appreciation to them for creating this space with so much love, care and personal touch. I strongly recommend this place to all who plan to visit Shantiniketan with family and friends. I will surely stay at Mahulboni for all my visits to Shantiniketan, with my family hereafter.

Had a very pleasant stay at Mahulboni Homestay this weekend. Loved everything about this place starting from the decor, ambience to the food and hospitality. Mr and Mrs Basu Mullick took great care to make our stay memorable and also guided us to the nearest places of attraction. They add a personal touch which makes the place a home away from home. The staff Mr. Pradip and Arindam were also very attentive and caring. This place is also very safe and secured. The property offers a lot more than it promises, it has all the amenities and facilities one needs during a stay. Would surely recommend it to my friends and relatives. Looking forward to visiting Mahulboni soon!

This is the perfect homestay for a weekend getaway in Shantiniketan. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The only Suggestion I would like to give is to add more varieties to the menu. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting here.

Had a wonderful family time at Mahulboni Homestay. Located conveniently, a driveway distance from Shantiniketan (15 mins) but the best part was it was away from the crowd. The homestay has got 6 well appointed rooms with state of the art facilities along with driver's accommodation. A place strongly recommend for their warm hospitality of Mrs. Tapasi Basu Mallick along with her expert team.
Everyone should try for the Bengali Thali along with the other cuisine, all the dishes were lip smacking and most importantly served in a clean and safe environment.
The place has got a good outdoor venues, ideal for a small group of 12-15 people, they can very well arrange for bonfire or other group activities. Overall a great experience and look forward to visit again. All the best to Mahulboni team!

A wonderful homestay with beautifully decorated rooms, lavish green gardens, awesome home cooked bengali cuisines along with tranquility of Shantiniketan will definitely make the vacation a memorable one. Warm hospitality and serene ambience will make you feel absolutely at home.

We went for a weekend getaway to Shantiniketan, basically 3D2N stay and this time we decided to stay in a Homestay to get the feeling of home away from home. There are quite a bunch homestays in Shantiniketan now and after going through the reviews of many, we decided to zero in on “Mahulboni Homestay”. We were 2 families and we booked the 2 top floor rooms “Krishnachura” and “Radhachura”, both comes with a nice cozy terrace. I must tell you it’s really beautiful just in the middle of nature and greens, but more importantly the hospitality and warmth of the host Mr.and Ms. Basu Mullick is simply amazing. Extremely nice and warm people, starting right from the moment we entered Mahulboni, the way they greeted us, their service, the personal touch and making us feel at home till the moment we departed is absolutely commendable. This is located in Daronda village, on the way to Bonolakshmi restaurant, take left right after Palashtali and you will reach Mahulboni. Sharing few pictures from Mahulboni and I highly recommend it. Viswa Bharati is 11 km and Sonajhuri haat is 12 km from here. Next time you visit Shantiniketan, please try out Mahulboni, I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

Great ambience. Perfect home stay with complete hotel like amenities in the lap of nature. Suite with king bed was airy and had a sit out terrace for whiling away the evening and early mornings. A great place to spend with family and friends. Great food served with a lot of personal touch. Cannot expect a better and relaxing weekend / short stay.

This place is located a little away from mainland Shantiniketan, in Bolpur. It's in a developing neighborhood with good connectivity, wide pakka roads and small residential projects nearby.

The homestay itself is extremely well made, maintained and a pleasure to stay in. The rooms are very spacious and clean and decorated, and the landscaping is very well kept. I visited this place during the peak of my WFH schedule and was almost certain I'll run into power cuts and bad network. To my surprise, the place has a backup generator which kicked in almost as soon as the power went off (twice during our 3 day trip) and the internet too was giving me a decent 80mbps at any point of time. Work was sorted.

Food was cooked with care, and we ate to our hearts' content. In terms of availability, menu and customisability, nothing disappointed. The hosts and staff were very friendly and did everything to make the stay a wonderful experience.

To be very frank, from my last few visits to Shantiniketan, I went in with low expectations for the stay. But the high standards set by Mahulboni Homestay have definitely changed my mind and I hope they keep up the same.
