Mainak situated on the main road of the city, good, spacious, well maintained tourists lodge has facilities for organisation of events, conference etc.

Rooms are very neat and clean. Foods are good in quality & quality.
Even got a call after reaching next destination about safe journey. That's unexpected service. Never get before. Keep it.

It's a govt tourist lodge. Nothing very special.
People are good and helping. Rooms are spacious and food is OK. Location is also good.

Mainak is a old and renowned Hotel and have stayed before many years back but my experience in last visit was extremely bad.
The staff was not cooperative and didnt take care of constant complain from me and other guests about AC not working.
Secondly the staff took order for dinner 1 hour before but when we arrived for dinner they said that fish fry was not available, which they had confirmed 1 hour back…
They did’nt have basic courtesy of informing us.

Perfect for a night with big rooms with all modern amenities. Big parking area is added advantage if you are traveling with car. Checkin and checkout process is very smooth. Even someone checkin very late will find staffs greeting with smile. Well managed property. They have complementary breakfast which is good too. No complains.

I had 1 night stay with my wife and 2 kids at room 403 9th June 2023 check in and 10th June check out I was highly disappointed with the staff and it’s manager. Entire night AC didn’t work, no one attended even after repeated request. My 6 year old daughter felt sick in the hot weather. The restaurant staff took dinner order at 7.30 pm and when we went for dinner at 8.45 pm they simply said fish not available hence can’t give my food. Actually no one cares about the customers hence this kind of reluctance behaviour. My only question is if hotel cannot provide AC in its room then why change AC rates? My last advice is to avoid this hotel to the extent possible

It's kind of unbelievable for a government property top notch service, when we stayed the helath minister of West Bengal along with other MLAs were there but that didn't hamper the service.

Rooms are clean with enough space and certainly one of the best values room in siliguri.

The food is good. Do try the basa chili fish.

Even if you check out at 4am they will pack your complimentary breakfast.

I stayed at this government lodge for 7days with my family. The room standard is good, hospitality is good. The room tariff is also not at all expensive. The food is really commendable and of good quality. The bengali cuisine is really good and feels like home comfort food. Overall, it's a good experience!

Amazing resort. It's very near to Bagdogra International Airport. It's a WBTDC resort. Well run, well maintained. At the entrance, the garden is very beautifully maintained. Rooms are cozy, attic. Bathrooms are awesome.

Wonderful property right at the centre of the city. Well appointed rooms, sparklingly clean, courteous and obedient staff, very prompt service, all in all an experience at par with my ch more expensive properties.

One of the best landmark of Siliguri. The government of WB still maintained this property. Lot of space available for events n accommodation too. I like this place.

Woohoo! What a pleasant stay. Came for a business trip, ended up with a good note. Very nice, spacious, well decorated rooms. Food is also good. Services in the room and other amenities are over the mark. Room rent is very cheaper compared to other hotels providing this kind of top notch service. Located at a prime place. More renovation is going on.

Has the look and feel of a government property, though the staff are courteous. Interestingly they do have a bar, while big name like Marriot, which is just next to this property, doesn't. The bar is in bad shape though.
The restaurant serves simple food. The thali is fixed fare and one has to pay for every extra helping, be it rice or dal. So keep that in mind.

If you plan for a stay in Siliguri or you need a short refreshment while coming from Hills, this is the best place.

It was my second stay. Tourist lodge is under renovation. 1st floor rooms are ready now. I stayed in Room number 305 for three nights. Room is good, spacious, adequately decorated and lights are enough. Housekeeping staff are dutiful and ready to help. I have some complains with the restaurant. They serve complimentary breakfast. Two times I have got rotten boiled eggs, though they changed it immediately. I have got one lunch and dinner each. All food were cold. Taste and quality is either poor or average. But in time of my previous visit in 2013, it was not like that. Food was hot, tasty and restaurant staff were helpful, dutiful and smiling.

Very cheap compared to other nearby facilities but needs some smarter arrangements. Some extension work is going on presently (June 2019). There is concession for senior citizen.

I have visited this place along with my subordinates for some different task allotted by Government of India. All rooms are faciliated with TV and ac. Attach lavoroty and bathroom supplied with hot and cold water 24hours. Feel comfortable to stay here. Vegetarian and non vegetarian food are served here. Breakfast is delivered in room as well in common dining place. But lunch and dinner service can be enjoyed in big dining area.

The person at counter was very helpful. Can't comment about a stay, because there is a huge renovation going on. So, no rooms are available for staying. I think the restaurant is open for business.

It was OK.the service was great but was under restoration and thus the AC wasn't working out that great.
Anyways the serviceand the food was great.

Stayed twice with a day's gap. Nicely decorated rooms with all amenities. Ground floor rooms are really excellent. Tariff is really reasonable. Good food with efficient service.

This tourist lodge are near by Jalpaiguri rly station.lodge situated on main road. Interiors is very good. Room also well. Available for rent Occasion purpose.

Affordable tariff with quick service.calm place.best to choose in Siliguri.near to railway station however it is under renovation. Thank you West Bengal government for the approach.
