Average Chinese food with extraordinary price. I have tried buffet but foods are there are far better Chinese restaurants are available in Kolkata. 2 for food.

First n foremost if u park on the main road, opposite to the building below the tree/s then be rest assured that car will fill decorates by bird droppings everywhere on top and sides and bonnet. First time had gone to this outlet as generally we go to the South City one. The individual who accompanied us from the front desk came and cleared the table which had just been vacated. He didn't use any glove or protection. Then just after clearing/mopping up he brought us the plates and cutlery before washing his hands - very very very bad. Had to intervene and get the all the things changed by another person. Even the table cleaning was not properly done had to request again to get it done properly. The premises are from pre-historic times and dont have any elevator facility. It only has some chair moving on rails for elderly or differenrly abled individuals. The system is very clumpsy, slow and u feel afraid that u will fall over when the chair moves up and/or down on the rails. Overall it was a very forgetful experience

One of the best Indo-Chinese restaurants I've ever had. Each and every dish I've had was top-notch. Besides, the waiters were so hospitable that they gave us a complimentary birthday cake for my friend since I was celebrating her pre-birthday celebration. The dimsums were my favourite out of the lot. Besides, the fried rice, noodles, a preparation of fish and chicken (which I'm not able to recall at the moment) were amazing too!

Must visit place for people having love for authentic Chinese cuisine. Staff is well behaved and knowledgeable.
Each dish speaks for itself. Although buffet spread was available we chose to go with ala cart dishes, which didn't disappoint.
We had ordered soups, seafood dumplings, drums of heaven, mixed fried rice, prawns, freshwater bhetki and General Tao's chicken.
Pocket wise pinch is bit on a higher side but the dishes will certainly not disappoint.
Additionally the restaurant takes care of hygiene seriously as the table is cleared post the entrant.
They have added a special menu for jain food as well. Would recommend this surely for authentic chinese cuisine.
This time we got surprised by special kids menu and the kid loved it!

Wonderful food and ambience with a rich menu to choose from, they take care of every small thing like if you are allergic to something or not and write the ingredients. The staff is very helpful. The food tastes awesome. Best Chinese dining place

Usually has great food but seems to highly differ from a weekend. Service also was less than top class on weekends.

Excellent Chinese Restaurant and very nicely decorated. Their food is awesome and great ambiance very much sophisticated.
They have a Buffet facilities and as well as A-La-Carte. Their new addition is they have a chair-lift facility, if anyone have a problem to climb stairs.
This is a stand alone restaurant in the Uniworth House on the Gurusaday Dutta Road, which is just the side of Modern High School on Ballygunge area. Car parking facility is available.

Good ambiance.and definitely good Chinese food.but avoid during weekends as there is a huge rush and waiting time is more than an hour.

You handover self driven car key to the reception people, they will try to push it against the wall and damage your car. No management can help you.

The restaurant itself is beautiful but the chef's menu food could improve. The money which we spent there was not worth the food. But chicken item was good but Noddles and fried rice was not good.

Too expensive compared to Mumbai, tasteless dishes, we ordered appetizer they served watery kind of mushroom dish, even the gravy we ordered with Schezwan noodle was bland.regret going to ML Kolkata

Wonderful ambience. Good food. Rush is low on weekdays. If you reach by 7pm, you will be able to choose a spot of your liking.

The best Chinese you can experience in Kolkata. There is not much competition elsewhere also. Every one should enrich themselves with MC flavors at least once a month or quarterly.

The reservation system especially this outlet is highly substandard. The person over the telephone is rude and has no sense of talking to ladies. Today we called up for a table resevation at 12.30 pm for a family of 4. The person over the other side was highly rude, lack courtesy and was highly adamant in committing a table. This is not expected at mainland china who holds a solid reputation of being a family joint. Attitude like this should be seriously taken at the management level.

Good location, parking available, valet available, good ambience being situate at a posh locality, good food, very reasonable price.
Specially the staff are very very cordial and treat you like house guest. Above all covid protocol strictly followed.

The Covid protocol followed by the restaurant is praise worthy! The quality of the food is really decent. The only thing which can be improved a bit is the service time. However, given the conditions, really happy with the food and the overall experience.

Best Chinese food and enjoyed a splendid evening. My favourite veg noodle soup was made perfectly upto my taste and crackling spinach was awesome.

Overall good.but one thing is not good if you enter after 3 pm then you have to finish your food as soon as possible because according to the 3.30 is the last order.and also they served cold starters from the buffet.after the request then they make fresh staters directly from the kitchen. The staff is good.

Good for food. Drinks are priced bit on the higher side. Over-all hit the place if you really craving some good Chinese dishes.

You really don't need a reason to celebrate at Mainland China! Be it your birthday or anniversary they will make it a memorable one. All the foodoholics do add this place in your bucket list.else you are missing something really big!

It’s a 5 stars restaurant but given 4 stars because while ordering the food the staff who was incharge of our table was not cooperative at all didn’t liked his behaviour found it quiet rude, overall loved the food and the environment!

Visited mainland China after almost 8 to 9 years and
Poila baishak dinner buffet was a disappointment. There are better options in Kolkata were you would get a better deal for you money than Mainland China. Take for eg Hatari or Chowman. Seems like they are basking in past glory.
Strongly believe that Anjan Chatterjee needs to revamp the menu and food quality.
But the staff is very good.

? ? ? , this was on a bit spicier side but although an amalgamation of crabmeat and egg drop tasted yum.

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? , if you love deep fried squids, this is for you, totally loved the crunch of the squids with the spiciness of the chillies.
These has been integrated in their main menu due to high demand for their exotic flavours.

Especially the Seafood Noodles was loaded with veggies, squids, shrimps and mushrooms, if you are going in a group this can be the best option as the quantity is humungous.
? ? , a must try desert loaded with darsaan, brownies, popcorn, ice-cream hidden inside a dome of chocolate and drizzled with a generous amount of hot chocolate sauce

Went for my birthday celebration. Food was good. Bhetki starter was good.they also played music.it was nice experience.

One of the finest Chinese food joint in Kolkata need visit with the family once in a year. Although the Interior remains the same but the taste of food is developing definitely.
The variety of starters, the beautiful shrimp main course are really appreciable. Only drawback is the location since Gurusaday Dutta Road is not very well connected with the buses you have to rely on the cab or on your own conveyance.

If you love Chinese food then it is the destination you should visit in Kolkata. Variety of food with Great service & Nice ambience make worth your money.
