Mall Market

It is a very big market in Darjeeling. This market is famous mainly for fast food and tea at night.

Simply a phase on the hill a little open space where people gather. Market sells all sort of goods, woolen wear, handcrafts etc

It is a nice market to have all the warm clothes and various types of umbrella. It is almost 400 m long market having various collection of cloths, showpiece, umbrella etc. In front of the market various types of food is also available. Beside the market Mahakal temple is there and a ground is there, there horse are available for riding.

Great historical and cool place, literally its cool bcz even in hot summer it remains under 20 degrees.most popular place in darjeeling.

A good place to spend your evening.
The shops here mainly are of Tea, food, warm clothes. The crowd is pretty good. You can spend typically 1-3hrs here.

A great shopping place with both big store and stalls on along the footpath are available. Lots of local cuisine are available also. Big cafeteria like Glennary and stall of Biswa Bangla are situated here. Overall good place to roam in.

Those who are familiar with Darjeeling are also familiar with the famous area of Mall Market. But who don't I have a suggestion for them. If you are going to Darjeeling and planning to buy some stuff from mall market, then please don't. The shops will cost you much more higher price than actual. If you are very bad in bargainig like me, then don't buy from them. Rather you can buy from Chowrasta bazar, situated down of the Mall market. Here price is reasonable and variety of things sold. So, enjoy momo, spaghetti, kebabs, ice cream and of course coffee or tea from roadside, have fun with horse riding but don't buy everything.

The much rated place in Darjeeling. Not much scope for bargaining. You will get some good snacks near the entry point of the mall. Please be aware of the crowd.

Situated just near Darjeeling Mall. Good for buying cold cloths & artifacts. Make sure to bargain & visit 2-3 shops before buying anything.

Very crowded area.its a five minute walk up n down the mall bazar but just walk in n see you wont come out before 15-20 minutes. But market there holds the best stuff you could ever find anywhere.

Darjeeling Mall is the central tourist place in Darjeeling. A large plain area for tourists to roam around to enjoy the scenic beauty of Himalayan range. Some musical or similar events take place in the open auditorium of Mall from time to time. There is a large screen TV that broadcasts various programs.

Mall market is located on two side roads. But almost all the shops offer sweater, jackets, socks, gloves, caps etc. Few curio shops are there. Many street vendors sell fast foods. But they're on Nehru Road & not exactly at Mall.
