Great stay. Their Henshel restaurants crab masala and pomfret masala fry is a must try. Nearby beach is calm and quiet.

There are over ten acres of space to roam around. They have their own farming, a cage full of birds, few goats, a flock of swans, few friendly dogs, a large manicured garden and a large pond - it's better to call it a small lake rather than a pond. All are very well maintained.

There are various types of rooms in the range of 2500 to 4500 - cottage rooms, 2/4 bed deluxe/super deluxe rooms. We took a super deluxe room with two balconies.

The staff is very friendly and sincere.

Dislikes:

You won't realise that there is a sea around. The website says sea 200 is meters away, that would be 200 meters from the main gate. And the room is 150/200 meters from that main gate. Sea at a distance may be liked by many but may be disliked by few.

Calls on intercom went unanswered. But calling on their personal mobile solves that problem.

Food was not priced to match the location and standard. The nearby Kristi Beach Resort (3 star type resort in this area) has 20% lower food prices with wider range of options.

This resort is a peaceful one, away from crowd and you may choose it if you want to visit Tajpur without any prior plans. But if you plan ahead, there are better options at almost the same or lower cost.

Nice place amidst nature, well maintained property & most important thing is food is very good though it is little expensive.

In a nutshell a place to revisit.

We stayed at this resort for 2days and 1 night. They have good rooms and are very close to the mallickaa beach.
You can expect good service here.

Beautiful property but no trained staff only some care takers are there to look after the guest

It was a very beautiful place, with lots of raw and untouched beauty in the resort. The food is very local and well made. Loved the experience and would love to travel next time

Worst experince we had. AC did not work and service people were not honest. Took minimum 2-3 call for coming to correct the ac and then even did nit correct the same wbole night. No internet and frequent electricity outage made life unlivable. I do not want anyone to stay and recommend goverment to shut down this property.

Excellent place for any weekend or short vacation. Property is spread out in 20 bighas with lots of fruit and flower trees, lake and domestic animals and birds. Sea beach is 10 mins walk. We enjoyed every moment of our stay here.

Worst service! We went for a conference and room no 305 was alloted to us! The ac was not working and no one was there to help properly.later the management team of our conference managed to find a different room in a different hotel.

Only few minutes walking from beach.
Large gated campus with lush greenery and a huge water body.
Badminton court, swing, seesaw and bon-fire amenities to warm you up at night.
Different animals and birds for children to play for.
Rooms and toilets are large and clean.
Food costs may pinch you a bit, but quality and taste quite good.
Service people are well behaved and friendly.

The place is beautiful for its natural beauty. Trees and plants and a large pond exist here

Recommended by a friend.the place is just amazing the resort is superb full homely environment. Staff is very good.and the most lovely person BAPPA DA is just a gem of a person very helpful and friendly he just help alot for everything he is just like one man army.
Highly recommended place for relaxation the property is very huge and the re is many animal and bird is there good play ground.and the last not the least the food.ohh unbelievable very good taste no need to go outside for the food and price also very reasonable.definitely going to visit again very soon

এই রিসর্টের নৈসর্গিক দৃশ্য খুব সুন্দর ।আমরা শীত গ্রীষ্ম কোনটার চরম সময়ে যায় নি বলে ফলের গাছ গুলিতে ফল দেখতে পাই নি কিন্তু কিছু ফুলের সমারোহ দেখতে পেলাম।এখনকার কর্মচারীরা যেমন আন্তরিক তেমন ভালো।ইচ্ছা রইলো আবার এখানে আসবার।

যে কোনো পয়েন্ট অফ ভিউ থেকেই এই রিসোর্ট কে ৫ এ ৫ দিতেই হবে । এতো ভালো রসর্ট এত সঠিক দাম সাথে মনোরম প্রাকৃতিক বিশাল আয়তনের পরিবেশ দু তিন দিন থাকতে পারলে মন ও শরীর দুটোই ভালো হয়ে যাবে । আর নিজস্ব পুকুরের মাছ, নিজস্ব পালন করা মাংস সাথে দারুন সার্ভিস । এক কথায় অন্যবদ্য।

The property is good as far as the natural ambience is concerned but the service is pathetic. We had booked the super deluxe rooms which are supposedly the best in the property. Unfortunately there was not even a soap case in the toilet, leave alone any other luxury. The extra bed provided for my daughter was a piece of foam on an iron makeshift bed. We were too stunned to comment. Is this hospitality?

The restaurant is run by absolutely unprofessional and inexperienced hands. They serve meals like roadside pice hotels and for both the days we stayed they could not serve dinner before 10.30pm.
The morning tea was served in a glass tumbler covered with a saran wrap. If they had informed earlier I would have carried a flask with me.

The word RESORT is a misnomer.as far as Mallicaa Ressort is concerned. Last but not the least they charged us GST but did not provide any Bills. This is unacceptable and is an offence.

The worst part is that the owner is not apologetic for all these nuisances.

We are living in an era where all wrongdoings have explanations but honesty and sincerity are not rewarded most of the times. So I penned down my experience not to discourage or encourage anyone.you are free to visit and give shape to your own opinions. But I sincerely believe that the resort needs a more professional approach. Otherwise, inspite of being the best property in Tajpur it will be wiped out in the present competitive world of hospitality.

The place is amazing, there is no doubt over this.
Rate Wise: not so overpriced but as its focused customer is high middle class so it may be acceptable.

About Management: Stuffs are friendly but more professionalism expected as per rates of the room and the class of this resort. In short the stuffs are not trained which is not acceptable in this type of resorts (as per its category).

Food: Quality of the food is not bad but rate is high.

If you fresh nature, less crowd and standard place to spend your time then you choose this place for your holidays.

Location is great, rooms are good but with old TV which has bad picture quality, No lights in approach areas, garden, Foods are not tasty which we ate. Have to improve in various services.

The hospitality behaviour of all the staff of the resort and the peaceful stay within natural atmosphere was most enjoyable. The resort has a huge property full of greeneries, which we lack in a city life. The lazy hours spent next to their private pond inside the resort is really very relaxing. My suggestion is that one should carry odomus ointment to prevent mosquito bites in the evening hours near pond. This place is so calm and quiet that is very suitable for all, specially for senior citizens, to spend few days there away from busy city life. The food was quite good and tasty. One suggestion to the owner is, if possible, to provide a RO water filter in the kitchen so that the guests, who don't have any problem to consume water from filter, don't have to buy bottle of mineral water everytime as it is very essential in life.

We recently visited this resort and if we have to say in short, this resort has all rights to be actually called resorts. It is span over a really big area and that to filled with flora and fauna in the maximum part. Once you enter into the resort you will be welcomed by the lush green on both side of the path inside resort. It has even a small pond where we sate and got up after one hour, such a nice and cool breeze made us meditative. Such a peace of mind among the trees and flowers you will feel. Rooms, service and food is kind of good but yes can be improved a bit. Like they can put hand wash in bathroom. Put LCD tvs that is another thing we don't even turn on the tv. They can put some lights on the path to rooms after gate they can decorate resorts with some lights not too much like digha mandarmani. Overall we really liked the place and this is honest review based on experience. If you are nature lover and want to spend sometime with it this is place for you. Only little downside is, it is little far from the sacks which are little good however if you have car it is nothing. We really recommend this place.

Everything was good. Staffs at resort were very kind and approachable. It was a quick break from hustle bustle of city. We had enjoyed our stay with all the natural beauty, duck, turkey, rabbit and many more.
The property is well maintained.
Food was excellent.
They have a beautiful pond where one can sit and just feel the naturalness of surrounding.
Would highly recommend to visit this place.

This is undoubtedly the best property to stay in Tajpur. The other resorts around this place doesn't even stand a chance to compete will Mallickaa from any aspects. This place is beautifully Green and make you feel close to the Nature. The bird chirps, the sound of the waves, and during the night the sound of silence makes the trip worth. Their food, hospitality, behaviour, ambience is top notch. They may seem expensive but every penny is worthy of spending here. Visit Mallickaa and thank me later

Service is pathetic & overpriced.
Villa for one night 6,400/- including breakfast, dinner and lunch (quality of the food was not good). (Room extreme back side). 50% advance on booking time and checking in time have to pay the rest amount (so if you are not satisfied or complain about their service they don't pay any heed). So unethical business.

Rooms are just about fine.
Rude behaviour of managers and unprofessional. No intercome facility. Under staffed. So if you order anything or require something they can't provide it on time. Hospitality is next to big zero.
Food isn't as good but priced like a 5 star.

Only catch is the area of the resort.
Never recommend anyone to visit this place. Worst hospitality.

Tajpur is a staple destination for me. I have been there six times and stayed in Mallicka twice. The property is huge and so green. The lush greenery and the private pond is a visual treat. I just love lazing by the pond and absorb the silence. Service is great! The food is good too. The new access to private beach is an add-on. Hope to revisit again and hope to experience the same service and spirit.

Very homely ambience. Food is warm and excellent, we visited during the independence day holiday nd the buffet meals were delicious and versatile with a lot of options available. The dining hall in the conference room is also very spacious and comfortable for a great gastronomy experience. The weather was also very enjoyable as it was monsoon so we got to see how rainfall by the sea looks like especially by the Shivsagar lakeside which is the Central attraction of the place. Only shortfall is the slight delay in service but considering the torrential rains, it was understanable. Not ideal for people who enjoy crowd and cacophonh but for those who want to unwind within nature.

Had a fantastic stay with my family at this wonderful green resort sprawling over 30 Bighas (largest area) in any resort in purba midnapore. The staffs especially Bappa is very caring and hospitable. Food is delicious, homely and served hot. Service needs improvement but considering its a big property, a little delay is understandable. Must recommend especially to family and senior citizens.

Service is unimaginably bad. Rooms are just about fine. Location is OK. Rude behaviour of managers. Hospitality is next to zero. Food isn't as good but priced like a 3 star. Good at all a good bargain. Only catch is the area of the resort.

Nice place with a chilled vibe. Nice farm but a bit of a walk from the beach. Service promptness could be improved upon a bit.

Most third class room service you can ever think of. They are charging high in comparison to other resorts. But service is pathetic. Not recommended.

At first I was confused from the negative reviews but still took the risk of booking after seeing the photos. Some points I want to say:
1. The resort is amidst nature in a gigantic piece of land near Sea. It also has a pond with deck chairs. Just a paradise of nature lovers.
2. No complaints with respect to food.
3. All the staffs were well-behaved specially Bappa.
Don't get deceived by the negative comments. Because, every resorts have some norms to follow and maintain the time of check-out.

I went to Mallickaa resort Tajpur with my husband and friends on weekend. I really liked the place, hospitality and good behaviour of the staff. Food is very good and homely. Resort is just 2-3 mins walking from Sea beach. The resort is filled with beautiful fruit and flower plants and you can also see Swan, Turkey, rabbit, pigeons, goats etc like farm house. I would surely love to visit there again.

Deluxe Cottage rooms was very small rooms. Rooms and bathrooms was dirty, foul smell coming from one room. The bed mattress was having poor/very average level comfort. The bedsheets was very old and poor quality we had to ask the staff for changing all. We had to upgrade to Super Deluxe Family room for getting proper room. It was overpriced as it was rated Rs. 5500/- per night for the Deluxe cottage including breakfast and lunch. Food is not good and the dining hall is very dirty and any road side restaurants provide better dining experience. Stuff was good and co-oprative. The property area is very big and having good place for children to enjoy.
