Lovely fish market. Beautiful quality of fresh catches. Price bit high but if it is compared with the quality then it doesn't makes any difference.

There are many clock towers in Kolkata erected during the British era and this is a famous landmark in North Kolkata's Manicktala. Standing tall on an old dilapidated building, this clock tower must have been visible from far. Sadly it has lost it's charm and now its view is being obstructed by tall residential buildings around. It is not well maintained and is in a poor state. Due to markets around, this area is very busy but one cannot miss giving it a glimpse. #heritagebuilding #clocktower

Today's Maniktala crossing is the intersection of Vivekananda Road  (Maniktala Main Road) and Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road (Upper Circular Road) — two main thoroughfares in north Kolkata. Beadon Street (Abhedananda Road), one of the important streets of north Calcutta originates from Maniktala, ending in Nimtala Ghat. The adjacent area is known as Maniktala. This crossing connects Shyambazaar, Kankurgachi, Rajabazaar and Girish Park to Maniktala.
