Very bad environment. Not safe for children and women. Garden staff's behaviour is worst. Even they do not hesitate to do physical violence with women as well. No power backup facility and we faced shortage of water. After several hours they arranged one power backup. For this inconvenience when we bargained they started physical violence. And the worst part is they don't even hesitate to do violence with women. Overpriced place. 20k is too expensive for that small garden.

Worthless location for a family picnic. Had booked the place for an office family picnic. First of all, 20k for the small venue is too much. Nevertheless, we had still booked based on false promises by the authorities. After reaching around 9: 30AM, there was no electricity till 2: 30PM. No sound system could be operated, we had planned various games/ activities but nothing could be organised. After sometime from around 11: 30AM there was no water in the washrooms. Pathetic condition. However, at last when the authorities were confronted about the shortcomings they simply refused to accept their faults. Further they went on and tried to physically assault our colleagues. They even pushed out female colleagues. They locked some of our colleagues in a room. Even threatened us. Hopeless condition. Definitely not safe for children and women.
NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANYBODY.

This place is good for picnic and gathering. They have proper seating arrangements and a beautiful flower garden. Little bit far from madhyamgram railway station.
To reach Max garden from Madhyamgram Railway station.you have take exit from platform 1.then can take toto or auto rikshaw to reach Chowmatha (they will charge you Rs. 10/- as of 2023) then you have to cross the crossing (you can take subway to cross the road) from there you will find auto for Badu Bazar.from badu bazar it is 3 to 4min walking distance (you can take toto if you want).

Recently had a picnic with 150+ count. It was little small compare to the toral head count. However, it was managable. It is perfect for a total of 100.4.5 kms from Madhyamgram Choumatha

It's a good place to picnic with family and friends. Children are entertained by few items.

Had a wonderful time at Max Garden with my team. Enjoyed the lovely ambience. Delighted to witness the lovely organised garden. Looking forward to visit soon. Highly recommendable.

Best garden venue near Kolkata city. Attended a reception party. After that i have booked the same for my daughter's birthday. Behavior from the staff & management was outstanding. They have the best catering service. I recommend it to all.
