We had one lunch at the place and actually missed booking this place for our 3 days stay in Kalimpo ng.

Great hotel with lovely views backed by excellent MAYFAIR hospitality and service. Complete worth the money spent

The receptionist is rude when contacted on the phone. She doesn't have manners to talk and respect local language.
She gave false information of availability of buffet dinner but actually it was not available when we reached.
Food was good (above average) but I expect that at that proce point.

Excellent hotel for vacation. Great service.
The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast & dinner was delicious and with many choices; it was a very wide buffet spread. The people in the reception were very helpful, not just on checkin and checkout, but also in giving directions to spots. Very comfortable. Would definitely recommend Thank you!

Rooms and viewpoint is good, and the lawn is awesome but they practice bad business such as -
In a buffet dinner (1500+gst)
They keep starters at the very front and the non-veg items at the corner, if you want to ask for mutton then they'll say that it will be filled soon but they fill it.
Best option is to stay there and take food from outside.

We had visited for a family dinner. I was quite sceptical about the food served there because I had heard that the food served was not up to the mark.but to my surprise the food was actually very tasty and the service was really good. Had a great family time.

Terrible restaurant. All the male senior staff of restaurant was noncooperative unhelpful and rude. I requested for my infant bottle sterilisation they made faces and told to call here n there while i was in restaurant with the bottles. The junior staff of restaurant was good with smiling faces and helpful. The people on call of the room dining and restaurant were very impolite and rude. Like we r staying for free. Location is good. Food is pricy and average in taste. Go to CAFE KALIMPONG the food is better and not at all pricy.

Beautiful location, but the dine in is not up to the expectation. 5 star is for the view and location of the hotel.

Heritage property, charming hill resort with great Kanchenjunga views from Kalimpong. Food could have definitely been better.

The resort is a beautiful picturesque mini town in itself. Top notch food. Mesmerizing ornamentation. I just went there for lunch. Looking forward to staying next time.

Very beautiful resort, tastefully done. Kanchanjanga is at the background, food is excellent. Staff are very friendly and guests are tested very specially.

Had gone there for dinner with family, the treatment of local guests like 2nd class citizens was evident from the start, the food was tasteless and cold, some items which we had ordered didn't even make it to our table inspite of repeatedly reminding the waiter, the waitresses seemed in a hurry to finish her shift. The waiter did such a shoddy job that I had to remind him that he hadn't provided us with mouthfreshners after we paid off the bills. All in all a big let down.

Terrible service that ruins everything else that is good with this property. Don't believe any other review. Service cannot be worse than this. Room dining staff blatantly lie and send food after 50 mins and 4 calls. Food is inedible with crazy amounts of salt. Manager keeps saying he is sending someone, replacing the food, but it is all a lie. They don't care. Haven't seen any worse service than this even at 2-star hotels.

From the location to the food to the hospitality, everything at the hotel was stunning. J have never been to a hotel with such huge rooms. Our room was meant for 2 people but had 2 individual queen size beds, and still enough place for my cousin to run around!
The property is beautiful, very green, an amazing fountain / pool area, a pretty cafe and tea shop. Definitely the only hotel where one must stay in Kalimpong

Exquisite in terms of location, ambience, historiography and legacy. Excellent staff and management. Food options are standard with variable finesse. Welcome drinks and a cookies/fruit basket, if offered, will do wonder. Over all, very good. Recommended.

Awesome ambience with great residence facilities. Food is not so upto the mark, can be much better. Service and hospitality is awesome.

The property is costly and they are here to make money. They change their policies according to their pros. Considering covid restrictions, they have closed every fun activities but if it is about resturant, they are serving Buffett, they asked us to buy otherwise we won't be allowed to sit and order in resturant. This is how they dupe their customer and this is a biggest scam happening with this property. I suggest to all of you to look for another property, at least, being clear before paying would be senseful.

Property is good, awesome view from the lawn garden. However quality of service is not upto the standards of other Mayfair properties.

Food is average. Staffs are less responsive to your needs except the manager but then that doesnt help.

Amazing place to stay.earlier known as Himalayan House.set up as a hotel by Mr. Macdonald more than 100 years back and run by his family, later on taken over by Mayfair group and converted to a wonderful luxurious resort.

I had been there for 3 days. It was pre booked as I went to attain a destination wedding.
1. Location wise it was expected good.specially the Kanchanjanghya view from the Lawn. (Well if you have financial issues to book, there are many places where you can get the same view). I will rather suggest Delo (personal opinion/ those who like to stay off crowded place, 5 km from Kalimpong/ 15-20 mint.driving distance).

2. There is no such question about food. You will have one of the best quality of food over there. (As a non-vegetarian I found the taste was ok ok).

3. Room are quite big and with that many complementary you will receive. I mean everything is available there.

Very nice ambience. But they take too long to serve food also the food should improve in terms of taste.

The view from the patio is excellent, the quality of food is okay but somehow the restaurant Tiffany needs good management.

Absolutely stunning ambience and feel. The resort is highly recommended for families & offices off-site. Extremely supportive staff & very courteous. Facilities provided by the resort is uncompromising with superior rooms.

Very beautiful property.so mesmerizing to the eyes.super well maintained.food was delicious.the staffs are also very good.they even greet and pass on smile.which is missing now adays in many.
The room were very spacious and the notes beside the bed was very caring.
They have big library, drawing room, theater room, games room which include billiards, carrom, table tennis, air hockey, the push ball, play area for kids, gym, amazing spa facility.
One should definitely visit this property and enjoy the stay there.

Hotel has a great ambiance. Nice view of Kanchejugha and valley from hotel lawn. Little disappointed that at a premium price point there was no complementary breakfast and its available for higher priced rooms, but overall it was a great experience.

Great property and scenery, nice selection of bakery items in breakfast esp.croissants, overall delicious food, clean and spacious rooms with ample furnitures and charging sockets. We had a great time there in the library, garden and my daughter enjoyed the toys room immensely. The staff were polite and courteous except the receptionists who didn't even utter a simple 'welcome'. So you can enjoy the Mayfair experience in Kalimpong after you get over that initial non-interaction.

Amazing location on hilltop. View from terrace is incredible. Big, comfortable, clean room. Excellent food. Breakfast buffet had tons of choices. Wish we had stayed an extra day and spent an evening by the open fireplace on the terrace.

I never visited such a place like this where I don't have any complain for any issues. It's really unbelievable. Just 10 on 10

So we celebrated 25th Anniversary here. And the service is too bad, lack of staffs, they ignore you. They dont know how to handle groups or meant for functions. Hospitality is zero. You wont get any coordination from the mangament for the event if you are hiring outside vendor or event manager nd there is no inhouse vendor. Wifi is bad. They ask charges for even extra tables you need lol. The property is good, ambience is good but services are worst. Food is not good, Confectionaries is great. Not very good option for planning weddings or big functions at all. You will keep waiting, they will say okay this will be done but then you realize you are ignored. You wont get any thing complimentary after staying 3 days with a booking of 40+ rooms. Disappointment at its peak. Their staffs need a good training and needs hell lot of improvent.

Every staff member with whom we came in contact was attentive, kind and professional including receptionists, room service staff, I just wanted to let you know how much we valued that effort, how impressive and gracious and how greatly we appreciate everything that you personally and your staff did for us.
Something that baffled us (and frankly is still a bit confusing) is why you chose my wife for being the guard of honour. We hadn’t informed you of our anniversary before that. It was a very memorable day for us. The service that your team provided made a homely atmosphere and although we couldn’t take you up on the offer of spending the next day with you, we still highly appreciate it. The celebration that you did for our anniversary on such a short notice along with the cake cutting was the best part of the trip.

It is heavenly. Bask in the sun under clear skies in a huge open area with amazing ambience and absolutely pleasant air.

Excellent and best property of kalimpong. Very nicely maintained Mayfair property and as per Mayfair standards. Location is excellent. Ideal place to enjoy holidays with family and friends. Nothing much to do in kalimpong but one can enjoy this property and it's facilities. Room sizes are very big and are very comfortable.food is ok

Absolutely fantastic place worth visiting.very courteous service staff. Rooms are huge i mean you can play tennis inside room.
