Old charm. The glitzy new multiplexes has enveloped the theatre wali feeling. Single screen cinemas should be encouraged by the state govt, by lowering levies.
The seating position is outdated, you cannot see the screen properly since the front person head comes on the way like old cinema halls. I don't know why they didn't switch on the AC and people were sweating though it was 25th December The whole atmosphere was suffocating, a very bad experience and that is why any day people prefer multiplexes.
Very decent single screen cinema hall. Environment is good with proper parking facility. Good place to take your family. This place is much cheaper than multiplex
This is small cinema hall in West Bengal Kolkata z situated nearby Ravindra sorabar park, it's quite good to watch films with in budget of 150-200 rupees range in Kolkata, they are following strictly covid19 protocol here, staff are good mannred.
The theatre location is best. Near Rabindra sarovar lake. And Available here small restaurant. The place best for hangout. And theatre quality also good. Ticket price reasonable.
Situated at lake view road, easy to connect beside rabindra sarowar lake, good place to watch movie, picture quality is good but sound is not good enough, don’t take backside sit, you will not get proper view that is the negative one
This movie hall is alright, the seats are pretty good, the A/V quality of the actual screen and sound setup is great.
But, the problem is with the way they handle the crowd, if a big release happens and a lot of people come to watch, it's an utter chaos, they only have one or two counters active at a time, which means if you have to catch the beginning of a movie, you'll have to arrive atleast an hour before.
Just because this hall is near my place I went there. All the workers are very rude. Screen is very small. And most importantly if you are planning to watch a 3d movie there then guys I would suggest you all to stay back home and chill.
Worst movie experience one could ever get. Went to watch Captain Marvel. Had to pay Rs. 40 for 3D glass! Of which 30 was returned after the movie. The screen is hazy. Sound quality abysmal.
Not bad, yet not so good. Screen was not up to the mark. Sound was ok. Interior design was good but thanks to those paan chewers who continued to spit on the corners. Washroom was nice. In this price range (100-150) this is a good option.
One of the best single screen movie halls in South Kolkata. Their sound quality has improved immensely. Both Rear Stall and balcony is equally good with comfortable seating arrangement. Overall, provides a good movie experience.
Watched a number of movies here and the cinema hall has upgraded with time. Still it is challenging for single screen cinema to compete with multiplexes. The security at the main gate is porous and could be dangerous if serious measures are not taken. The seating seats are close enough which makes it hard to move between them. Food stall is alright. Sound could be improved. #movie #cinemahall
From the experience its a lil expensive. Popcorn is very expensive. And they charge 150 for Dc. In which u can easily go to a multiplex. They cost 120 for a mid popcorn which is not very good in size and quality. Ac doesn't work.
The hall is situated at a prime south location near the rabindra sarovar lake. Hall interior is not very good. But it is ok. The place is neat and clean. Bathroom can't expect to be that much neat. Comparing to the price it is little higher. Right now for below is 100 and for DC is 150.
Good screen & sound quality. Atmosphere is not that great. Rabindra sarobar lake is located in front of it. Nice place for romantic couple's. 7/10 rating
