Staffs are very supportive and most of the items are available.

Products as usual, however noticed when you plan and go for buying specific thing, that obviously is not available and you buy things which are not required immediately for your needs.you tend to buy because you have gone there

Nowadays Metro Cash n Carry seems like it has changed, as if they're failing to manage everything. Each and every section is so unorganised. None of the representatives are present in most of the sections. Items are also not being available for so long time. Prices are not good enough like before. Overall Metro is not good enough at present. Trollys are so bad. Hope they'll overcome this very soon.

Necessary goods are not available. Billing section is slow enough. It takes more time to complete the process.

Best place for holesale marketing for every requirements, but for entry this place you need to make metro card,

All in one stop for business man. They can buy almost each and every thing at wholesale price. You need to have metro card otherwise no entry. Parking is available

Superb Supermarket with wholesale price. I visited here for collection of material for my shop.all are good, but I feel the lack of home decorating item and book shop also.

I am extremely satisfied with this place. I visit regularly. But I have certain suggestions. If possible try to keep bread of Britannia or Modern. The quality of fish is nowadays bit low.
Else the place is excellent!

Asper I know this place is supposed to be for trader's and business owners only with trade license, but every time I found so many people and families, and don't understand if all of them having valid and active trade license or not.
The place is so crowded even in Covid situation.
We small traders have to close shop due to Covid protocol but the same is not valid for metro.
The price written in tag and billing differ several item and occasion.
Staff's are non-cooperative, if you ask anything they don't give proper response

You will get maximum you need for your home or shop but don't forget to check your bill before leaving may be your product price is double as you have seen in the display. I have faced these problem many times.

Due to Cobid situation, I want to know about some item where it's available & possible to home delivery or not. But they don't pick up call neither call back. Shameful

Took one tray eggs (30). It had 3 BROKEN not just cracked. 10 % useless. Lost Rs17/= uselessly. No checking?

Its good but not all products are available as compared to new market Esplanade. Very long billing queue so go early morning to avoid rush.

All different types of product available at one place but not everything is great. Sometimes the price is higher than on local stores. Also it's better if you have membership otherwise deals won't be that much lucrative

It's a business to business (B2B) for retailers, shops primarily. Amazing discounts and offers in bulk purchase and various household products, food, grocery, fish-meat, liquor, electricals, clothes are available in attractive discounts of purchased in bulk.

Good place to shop all regular need items, no matter if you want bulk or small in quantity. Some of the items are the best to purchase here like noodles, soyabean etc

It is a huge supermarket and sells stuff at wholesale rates. But to make a purchase here one must be having a trade license or must belong to a profession where one has to be self employed, eg - doctor, CA, etc. But there is a benefit if one buys in bulk and for buying small quantity the benefit is not much. But many uncommon items are available here which is not there in our local market or local grocery shops

Product price, range of product, variety of products all great but only one thing that they don't provide any carry bag which shows that they are highly unprofessional. In my point of view I cannot carry carry bag all the time. Very bad

I used to buy from here and they used to provide-
(1) big carry bags with their name and we had to pay for it! But after few years of opening the quality of goods gone down.
(2) I bought 2 Reid and Taylor's Formal shirts sealed in packets. But after coming home saw one is damaged and other has no pocket!? !?
(3) Their own Branded formal Black Shoe just came out/detached from its shole on road within a week!
(4) Their Branded Bed Cover set colour just fade away after its 2nd wash! Fat big head Pillow got thin in a few months (Pig became a Chapati)
(5) Only thing was good was Hilsha & Meats/ইলিশ/মা়ংস.
(6) And the Full Chicken Tandoori with RS: 200/-.
(7) Cereals were great.
(8) But Biscuits etc.are Not At All given with Fat Discount! (Local Stores in 'Kasba Market'- give better discounts when purchased in bulk!) (9) Only thing is Metro Cash & Carry has huge stock that's it.
(10) Business men & women come mainly from 24 Parganas (S) who do not have much ideas about other markets! (Highly influenced by so called myths about this.)
(11) And this Cash Counter jamming problem is there from the day one with damn lazy staffs.
(12) Many of the Electronic Goods are sold in less discounted rates to local market which are old model/out of stocks!
(13) So before buying it survey your local market/shops and online ok. Then make your purchase.

Metro cash and carry is quite a good place. They keep all the necessary items for public. It's like a whole umbrella where you can get all the items. To register, you need a trade licence of company. People are quite helpful. You must check it out as the prices are quite low here.

At Kolkata, MCC there was que and waiting period at each counter 180 minutes, which is against BSCI, and social compliance, which metro is also member. How they encourage, each and every person with GST no to come and buy. They have staff to sell bandhan cards, but not very efficient to handle cash counters, Very slow there must be conveyors and helpers to dispose off customer quickly. And why cash counter person stand, which is also against BSCI. If Metro Germany is aware!

Another problem is that stocks finishes up very fast

Brand conscious people please take note. You will be getting huge discounts upto Rs. 1/- on your purchase. Apart from that you may found AC not working at several places. Also keep yourself in good humour when being asked to move to other counter while making bill. All in all SHEER WASTE OF TIME. Among the positives separate blocks for item's including perishable stuffs and sufficient parking for your vehicle.

It's a big whole sale market by metro cash &carry in India at Kolkata. One of the best places to shop for almost anything & everything. You can Every kind of products that is Grocery, cocacola, lays, fruit juess, electronics meats, fish anyone etc.

Plastic Plastic and more Plasic. The dangerous question on billing counter. Need plastic carry bags? Why on the earth reseller should not carry own bags to a wholesale outlet to avoid plastic carry bags?
Air is highly polluted for breathing especially for asthamatic ones. Air inside needs purification. At least offering of mask even at a cost price.
Regullar products like Horlics, Borolin, Vico termeric not available. No better quality ghee either. Don't know the logic behind this.
Hope no more plastic carry bags next time we enter the market.

Nice place where you can get fine offers on bulk orders. Not much off on single purchases. But useful mall for people with metro cards who wants to do regular shopping

Just loved this place. Everything is so cheap. There are many items on which there are more than 50% discount. You can get Nike, puma, addidas and other branded stuffs in clothing and shoes section. In clothing section there are variety of options starting from Levi's, Peter England to mere vimal and others. Great collection of foods and other items. Really loved it.
