Location is best right opposite to surendranath college so no issue of transport. The rooms are very big, so who don't want small rooms go for it. Just one problem, every floor shares a common toilet but toilet is clean.

One of the cheapest hotel near Sealdah station and surendranath college. It is very old construction, you will know just by entering the building. But the owner has maintained that very well. The furniture's are something you will not find this days. The actually give a real feel of British period. Dont worry bathroom is renovated. Only problem is there is no attached bathroom in any room. Good for short night stay.

The hotel gives you an old style North Kolkata vibe. Rooms are clean and feel very homely. Large windows overlooking the busy streets of North Kolkata will give you another kind of charm. Some rooms have attached bathrooms but some don't. I think that's the problem. Location wise it's very good, just a 2min walk from Sealdah station and the staff behaviour is also good. Lastly this hotel is super budget friendly.

Pros - decent accommodation, cheap rate, good location (just near to the Sealdah rly stn) ; available food options just at the door, authenticate old calcutta style furniture, clean room, nice behavior

Concs- no attached bathroom ; you have to use the common bathroom (for your surprise there is only 1 bathroom in each floor this is why I am giving only 2 star), indian style pan in bathroom, no any sophisticate arrangements and it feels more like a lodge.not a hotel!

Nice hotel. Neat and clean. Stuffs are gentle and helpful. Common bath. One of the cheapest hotels in this area. The hotel is situated on M G Road.
