Visited the store just now.staff very discourteous, was busy serving people coming after me first because they were known faces. That way I missed buying gurer roshogolla, the person came after me took away all leave only 4 pieces. Even the cashier/owner was least bothered about his staffs behaviour.
They take high price for rasgolla. A small gur rasgolla is now rs 25. It was 17/18. Enhancing such huge amount against a single piece of rasgollah is very unfair. Though it's only a TAKE AWAY counter.
Worst service providers they are so rude to the customers that they don't talk to them over the call the if you can't afford genuine and good employees than you must shut your so called MITHAI shop
After being an old customer treated like I am not paying them for their stuffs
I stay in beckbagan. I am a regular customer of your shop. For quite sometime we are getting a smell of chlorine /some kind of chemical in sandeshes. Also kumkum has the smell of vanilla. This is spoiling the taste of the sweet. Pls look into it.
Location: Opp Quest Mall, 10mins walk from Park Circus crossing.
Ambience: Typical crowded sweet shop. Lot of customers. Ac shop.
Service: Very prompt. UPI payment can be made.
Sweets: Excellent quality. During the cooler months variety of sweets made from palm jaggery is available, especially 'Gur Rosogolla' which is perfectly soft and spongy.
Excellent quality sweets without sky-high prices. It is difficult to get the attention of any of their service staff but once someone starts attending to you, service is quick. Their attitude towards customers borders on the verge of impatience. This is a good place to bulk order sweets for festive occasions or to get sweets specially flight packed. One would be advised to avoid UPI payments here, although the shop accepts UPI payment.
In general - good. But there are multiple instance of quality control issues. Like this time, received a fully burnt khasta kachori. And unfortunately no acknowledgement or support.
I wanted to rate it 0 star. Totally illiterate staff. They are not at all cooperative. They spread illogical misinformation about the currencies & payment process. They charge at customers to show themselves high, which leads to a very inappropriate behaviour. The management is also not at all cooperative. They are spreading illogical rumours like ₹2000 rupees notes have lost their legality. And on the other hand, the staff fights with the Customer to prove their illogical points.
Excellent sweets available here.location beckbagan opposite quest mall. Try rossogolla. Kheer kadam. Langcha and many more varieties. Only fresh sweets available.
One of South Kolkata's best Bengali Sweet (confectionery) shop.
A wide variety of Bengali sweets available along with savories. Very efficient service. They take orders over phone, pack suitably for air travellers too.
Try the Rajbhog (a large sized rasgulla or cottage cheese boiled dumpling in sugar syrup) and Norom Paak Taal Saansh Sondesh (sweetened cottage cheese patty) - both are its specialties
