Digha Mohona Watch Point is truly a hidden gem and a must-see destination for anyone visiting Digha. While waking up early in the morning to catch the sunrise may be a challenge for some, I can assure you that the breathtaking sunrise from Digha Mohona is worth every effort.

Located near Old Digha, Digha Mohona offers a stunning view of the sunrise over the sea. A road has been constructed that extends into the sea, providing a unique vantage point to witness the beauty of the sunrise. Take your time to soak in the serene atmosphere and spend some relaxing moments on the beach.

During your visit, don't forget to have your photographs taken by the talented cameramen on the beach. They capture the essence of the moment perfectly, allowing you to cherish the memories for years to come.

One of the highlights of Digha Mohona is the nearby sea fish market, which is a paradise for fish aficionados. The market offers a mind-boggling variety of sea fish at incredibly reasonable prices. You can even purchase your favorite fish and have it packed in ice and thermocol boxes to take back home with you.

As you explore the fish market, you'll witness the bustling activity of fishermen gathering, packaging, and distributing fish to trucks for delivery to various locations. If you visit in the morning, you'll experience the vibrant energy of the market in full swing.

While the fish market may have a distinct smell of fish, it adds to the authentic charm of the place. Additionally, you'll find various dried fish items available for purchase, including dried hilsa (ilish) and dried bhetki of considerable size, which are a treat for seafood lovers.

Overall, Digha Mohona Watch Point is not only a spectacular spot to witness the sunrise but also a vibrant hub of activity for seafood enthusiasts. Whether you're captivated by the beauty of nature or intrigued by the local fish market culture, Digha Mohona offers a truly memorable experience for all visitors. I highly recommend adding this gem to your itinerary during your visit to Digha.

Smelly and no proper infrastructure. Extremely dirty and crowded. Lack of transportation is a major concern. We have to pay 1000 for 10 mins. The distance is less than 5 km from Old Digha.

Digha mohona watch point is a beautiful spot where you can witness the confluence of the champa River and the bay of bengal. The view of the sunrise and sunset is peaceful and relaxing. The place is also famous for its fish market, where you can buy fresh or dried fish of different varieties, you can get them packed with ice to take home or cook at your hotel.
However, if you are not a fan of fishy smell, you might want to avoid the market area or wear a mask.if you are coming from New digha, you can easily reserve a whole e-rickshaw for 250 rupees and 10 rupees parking. The ride is comfortable and convenient, and the driver will drop you at your desired location.

Beautiful place for walking beside sea. Not ideal for people who doesn't like Fishy smell. Because as it is an estuary (মোহনা), there are so many fishing boat that are unloaded here. Besides that all are good. You can buy fresh fish here and they will packed it in thermocol box with ice.
