Moktan Lakpa's Homestay

One of the best places I have ever been to. The behaviour of lakpa ji is just awesome. There are almost no negative points I can come up with. The only thing would be the road leading up to the home stay. It's a kacha road so expect it to be bumpy. But the view and experience of the place makes u forget that hardship.

Firstly I would appreciate cordial behaviour of Lakpa ji and his family.they have really given effort to make our stay comfortable. Room was specious and covered with carpet.whole wall was covered with wooden panel to keep the room warm. Food was very tasty and homely.moktan was very peaceful place away from so called popular tourist spots where one can come closer to nature.

A place you will fall in love with. Away from pollution to cherish your desire. If you want to live visit there once.

Been there recently during Christmas and this is probably the best relaxing place to be. Lapped around with nature on the top of a hill you can view the Himalayas along with Kanchenjunga. The host is very friendly and will cater the guests requirements. A must visit place.

Ideally placed in the laps of nature, away from the crowd of Darjeeling, it will fulfill your desire to have awesome views, long walks and serenity. The people at this homestay are very, very nice people who will cater to all your needs with a smile. I visited the place during Christmas with some of my friends. The home-made food is so yummy and the rooms are spacious. The gesture that touched me the most was how Lakpaji and his family honoured each one of us with a token of respect and love. I left the place with lots of good memories around the bonfire with my friends and a desire to visit them again.

A wonderfull place to spend your time. Close to nature. Simple lifestyle and an awesome host to welcome you in meghetar.
