There were big windows in bathroom, which were easily accessible from outside. Problem with ants. The window AC was making huge noise. Room size was big. Property was full of greenery. Car parking also available in open space. But room service was pathetic. There was no system to call room service, from room.

The first thing about this particular place is, it's full of green! ️ One of the oldest resorts in Tajpur, Mouchak is properly located near the sea beach and overall the place is serene and lively. They have a conference room build in the courtyard along with the food corner. When we visited we didn't find the place too busy as there are many resorts now standing in different locations. If you are a peace lover ️️and visiting with your family you will like the place. The car parking is from the back lane.
Rooms are in cottage styles (single rooms) not too large but with reasonable space. They come with AC and garden in the front side. Washrooms are near and clean.
Rates: they offer good rates from 1400 INR and above but will depend on season and your bargaining power.
Enjoy your trip to Tajpur as it's by far the best place in terms of everything if you like sea.

They Give Food Items without Your permission For Extend Bill Value & Prices Are Too High. 1 Luchi (Normal Size) 10₹, 1 Pomfrett Fry 280₹ (50₹-60₹Overpriced than Beach shops & Other Hotels), 1Plate of Mixed Veg 60₹. Only Good Point Foods AreTasty. Over All A Bad Experience For Us. They Angry On Us Because We Didn't Buy Mineral Water From Them (One Bottle Of 2 LTR Bisleri 10₹ Overpriced). The Owner Mister Abhijit Is Very Money Minded & Short Tempered. He Forced Us To Take His Choice of Food.

Light was not working in room (they fixed the issue later).
Too much unnecessary rules.
This is the 1st hotel i have stayed at where i had to pay the entire rent just after checking in. (They even not allowed to check the room).
AC was not working/turned off in restaurant.
Too much slippery everywhere.

Very nice place. The owner shows hospitality at its best. The location also good. Sea beach is just a minute away. Food is excellent. Overall very satisfied.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are also clean. Basic facilities with good food. Cordial and courteous behaviour of the staff.

The location is really nice. The sea beach is just a few meters away. The rooms are clean, well maintained. Didn't see any power issues as such, and the best thing is food. I have to stress that the food provided is awesome both in taste and quantity. You can even ask for extra servings without worrying about the cost. You can even be a little kid and ask for your favourite fish and they will make it for you. Overall this resort is recommended for couples, family and even friends. 10/10 would recommend!

Nice location just a walking distance to the beach. Avijit da is a wonderful host to give you the house-like feeling. You can enjoy a good seafood near the beach.

The most rubbish resort, the owner of the resort is the biggest cheater and madman, charges a lot of money for food and gives 1month food.fully bakwas.

The staffs including the owner is not at all helpful. Once you pay the money they dont know you. Service is terrible. There are lots of hidden charges which they will take once you checkout just like beggar. They will threat you if you dont return to hotel by 10 pm at night

Bathrooms are water clogging and has no exhausts, Rooms are good.but food is very expensive, like 1 ps roti rs. 12, Tea 40. Behaviour of the staff and owner is very bad.if you asked please make 1 cup of tea, then answered his staff sorry only 1 cup not available.owner is very money minded people.when we entered the hotel he said to us please pay the fool amount of the room.overall experience is very bad but room location and area is very good.

Food preparation is below standard. The owner himself run this hotel who loose his temper often. They don't have tea to serve not even electric cattle.

Let me give my mixed-bag experience and few examples about this hotel:

1. You will get super Deluxe but non AC room only in this hotel. This is quite absurd.

2. We took package on per head per day basis including foods. The cost is 2000 per head per day. Which is too much and seems very costly compare to the food and services provided.

3) They provided pomphet fish at lunch which was really good in terms of size and freshness and mutton curry at dinner also very delicious.

4) But except these two items we have really bad experience with the following menu:

a) we got prawn curry and the prawn was not fresh and small in size. It's overfried and beacme rubbery like chewing gum.b) we got fried rice prepared from normal rice which is residuals from previous day/period and fried with residual burned oil which was very much greasy. This is very much unhealthy and unhygienic for a person.c) luchi was prepared from surplus material for butora.

4) room was clean but water logging was there at toilet and bathroom.

5) Sometimes you can see insects like cockroach and small frog inside the room and bathroom. Good paste control needed.

6) Toilet syphon was overflowing.

7) No dedicated room for pet. It may happen that your bed is used by someone's pet previous day.

8) No ventilation/exhaust fan inside the bathroom.

This is all about my honest feedback about this hotel now the decision is yours.

My 2nd visit to Mouchak in 5 months. And both time had taken my pet, MOMO, #goldenretriever dog, with us. Staff are very cordial and helps with whatever asked for, never said no to any of our requests. Food was perfect (last time in Sep21 the Prawn tasted better though) and proportions of food is very good, from one plate two persons at least can have full meal. Yes, cost is on the higher side but quality doesnt come cheap. Mr Abhijit Chakraborty, the owner takes personal care about every guest in his resort. He is a gentleman but be prepared, he speaks the truth on your face, even it if it annoys you: a transparent man who likes you to be transparent with him from the beginning. Our 10 month old pet, MoMo gets the best welcome in this resort from all staff members. Visit Tajpur with your pet and stay at Mouchak Resorts.

Worst Hotel a person must go and stay in the shack rather staying in this hotel. Behavior of the people staffs including the owner do not know how to behave. They will make you feel as if you have come to a hostel with lot's of rules and regulations

Worst hotel. Poor behaviour. Small room. Very expensive for low quality food. 1 cup tea 50 rs. Lol. 1 omlet 75 rs. By chance We stayed for 1 day and shifted to another resort very next day. Dont go there.

The worst experience a person will ever have no proper arrangements with no power backup they will not provide you ac but will surely charge you for a ac room. I WILL SUGGEST ALL DO NOT GO THERE
