I think lake Park is an environment place.
Full of green, And a lot of enjoying things have there.
But for me, guards are not so familiar.
Their behavior likes the owner of that park.

Silent place, good for couples, but entry ticket price is much expensive, that is 25 per head as on 24 July 2019.

I've not been here, but heard a lot about this park, i mean this park is very famous in between couples.

Beautifull place and very calm. Very green place. Fit for all types of picnic and also an ideal place for children families and couples.

Nice place for picnic, you will find every amenities here, no need to carry extra cooking utensils. Very crowded in winter season. Lovers meeting place in other seasons

A nice place for picnic with all the basic amenities available. This park also features many rides for kids and a flower garden. Picnic garden is also famous among couples.

Nice place to hang out. Not a very good park compared to jubilee in gayeshpur or Nico park or anything. But entry is cheap.

Near Kalyani Simanta Station in Nadia district. It is a well decorated garden. Ambient place to visit.

Small Park for picnic maintained by West Bengal Forest Department. Enyone can book a spot for picnic inside the Park.

It is a good places with many trees.but there is very much of dust. It is a very large area and a good place for playing cricket.

The workers of that park behave so Litteraly so badly with people who goes few often there! And they like make a big issue of very little things. The workers of this park including male and female both don't simply know even how to behave with a decent lady and ofcourse they don't know how to behave decently and calmly no matter whatever happen, with visitors. Yesterday I went there with my fiancé over there. He once asked one of their's worker that where is the men loo and I was the proof a woman told him here's nothing nereby you can do it there (directing a bush) he had done it (just peed, nothing much) since then (we went there 4-5times probably) & yesterday also and then it all started. The women workers of this place is so much illiterate by attitude, culture, language! Lastly I had some health problem and had to get out from the gate of that park when I was standing out side the park then also those women Talking so so badly, rudely about me. It was unable to bear! I told my fiancé to return those tickets as it was not cut/used till then. He went to the counter and the ticket collecter just took those intact tickets & threw it off! And ofcourse didn't return money! Nextly those people were charging us for parking fee! Though we didn't gave it coz we just went there and didn't stay, came out. I haven't seen such a park with so dramatic, bad cultured workers. I'd suggest it's not couple friendly. And one thing more, Once there were a incident happend, a boy beating a girl (probably tgey were couple) desperately the park workers then didn't came We stood up against that. But yesterday they made such a big issue with this simple case. I'd suggest it's not couple friendly. This park should look after upon their workers behave, body languages which they are serving towards guests!

Kalyani Picnic Garden is an excellent picnic spot situated in Nadia district of West Bengal. You can have picnic in the open ground or book sheds for picnic. Total 14 sheds are there. There is a children's corner consisting of slips, swings, seesaw etc.for entertainment of children. The garden is set in a natural ambiance surrounded by lots of trees. You can also visit Hanseswari Mandir or Tribeni from here.

How to Reach

You can reach Kalyani Simanta from Sealdah by local train. The picnic garden is just 3 minutes walking distance from the station.

5 star not for all. If you have only 100 rupee in your pocket and try to spend hole day with your partner, then i must say its the best part of kalyani.

Have a mix reaction. If u r couple and explore each other then good.otherwise i suggest to avoid the place.

Bad place.i have seen many bad things in this place.not for going with parents.very vulgar place

The place is not at all maintained well. Though it really have a beautiful garden which i admired in my last winter visits, but coming to the sanity and cleanliness, this place would be not recommended. As far as I could remember they charged Rs25 for gate pass and i am sure you will regret paying this.
The flower garden which impressed me is accessible only for a limited time test of the time you would have nothing to look into the park, except for the unmaintained children's picnic garden at the frontal side of the park.

Nice concept by local regime. People from far places come here to enjoy. The dept of horticulture has done a marvellous job out here. A variety of flowers increases the value of scene.
