This is the best place to stay in Moorti. The rooms are very nice. I would recommend to book the wooden rooms. We visited as a group of 10 and stayed for a day. Its a very large well maintained property. The food served is very homely. Staff are extremely courteous and helpful. They arranged a wonderful bonfire on our request at an additional cost. Thank you to the whole team for their hospitality

Just love the place. Very neat and clean. Good staff behavior. Lovely cosy rooms. Only one thing the toilet is not clean. And cockroaches are there.

Murthy Resort is located on the banks of Murthy River. It belongs to West Bengal Tourism Department. We stayed here for two nights and had a great time

Rooms are good. Complementary breakfast is good but when I order food they are not at all close to what they are charging. Room service is not available if you request.

A very good resort at Murti. The cottages were very spacious and we'll maintained. Furnishing was top notch. The walkways and lawns were very well maintained.

Loved the stay here. Staffs are very humble and nice. Rooms were clean and tidy. Provides good number of amenities. Food quality is average but some of the items are superbly delicious. Location of this property is appreciable. They also provide services to book jungle safari and other local tours. Aptly located in the center of every must visit spots. Car parking space is secured and they also have car wash facility.

A premium luxury resort of West Bengal tourism dept. Situated just beside river Murti. Safari to chapramari wildlife and Gorumara National Park starts from very nearby place. This resort is built on a large area. But there should have been parking area. There is no specific parking area here. Otherwise it is a pleasure to stay here. Food is also delicious. Bathroom fittings and door locks are of international brands.

Loved their service for our one night staycation. Although did expect more variety at the restaurant. The bar was closed but you could ask for a service at the reception.

We had a problem with the shower but they were kind enough to change our room instantly.

The behaviour of the staff especially reception is not that great. But everything is nice except that.

A must visited place. You can enjoy fresh Boroli fish dish.

Its mentioned that this place is pet friendly but it is not. When I called to ask they said likha hai per allowed nai hai

A very nice resort near Murti river. The service is very good. Food options may be a bit limited but it's decent enough. The people at the resort are very polite.

Service and food was not upto the mark. Though the room we stayed was great and well maintained. Also the surrounding garden is well maintained. Overall an average experience.

The staffs are reluctant to do proper housekeeping. The pillows of my room was torn and the pillowcases were missing. Callous attitude on part of the staffs.
Moreover, care should be taken while preparing food, a chicken bone was in my veg meal.

A very under maintained property and utterly disappointing finding atleast 20 cockroaches and all sorts of insects in the room while we checked in. We asked for desk help but they hardly gave response. This is the only place where such horrible experience happened in any govt.property.

Nice stay. Economically convenient and healthy dinner. Full of greens. Supportive stuff. A splendid time spent.
Cons.: Breakfast is way too expensive.

Excellent location on the bank of the river Murti near Gorumara National Park. All the amenities are available with a good multicuisin restaurant. Loved it. You wil definitelyl enjoy the blissful stay here in the lap of serene natural beauty of Dooars.

Pretty good clean and well maintained tourist lodge. I like the rooms, gardens and dinning hall. Cons are that expensive and could improve service.

Excellent tourist lodge facility and setup from West Bengal tourism department along Murti river. This is at a distance of 30 minutes from New Mal junction station. Rooms are air-conditioned cottage style with wooden cottage option. Well furnished rooms with ample space. Food is good and services are better compared to other locations. Prices are above average but worth it.

Calm place far from city so that you'll sleep well. But room service is bad.you'll call them no one will pick up at first if pick up your orders will be delayed. Sometimes they don't clean properly. I'll say it's a bit more than okay.

We stayed just for one day. Lodge just opposite of murti river. Location is good. Food quality is okay. They have two type of room category (wooden furnished & without wooden furnished). There are a conference room also.

Wonderful resort, a must visit for all. Good food, specially ala carte menu and wodden cottages are most suitable and comfortable for night stay. Behaviour of staff is excellent

It's a good place to stay overnight. Recently the sight, situated at the junction of Garumara and Chapramari forest, becomes too crowded in the day time. But after the dusk till dawn it's nice. You can listen to the original sound of the forest. If luck favors, one can watch the dancing peacock and hard if elephant coming down the Murti rever bank.

Almost good. Nice decoration with models of wild animals, specious and airy, children play area with garden, conference room staff behavior were also good. I referred this place for holiday and other purpose.

If you are planning to spend a night at Murti, the forest lodge is the best option. Located bang on the banks of the forest river, it has a breathtaking view and serves very tasty food. The staff is very well mannered and helpful.

Very nice. Room & ambience. But room service is not very good. Staffs are less in numbers. But they all r well behaved.

Very well maintained tourist lodge of WBTDCL near murti rever, with fully furnished room with all amenities, atmosphere is very pleasant to stay. Food quality is also appreciated.

I could have given 5 star if their house keeping staff were doing their jobs. Very reluctant to clean room and change lien. I have stayed here at 103 from 25 to 28th October 2021, but lots of things are missing no GARDEN UMBRELLA NO TRIBAL DANCE NO BON FIRE SINCE I AM STAYING HERE FOR LAST 3 DAYS SO UPLOADING THIS. But it's good, my complaints are already sent to MD WBTDCL But you want more comfort then stay at wooden block

Clean and nice wooden cottages, just next to Murti river. Cleanliness in the Restaurant could be better.

Almost everything was perfect about this resort. Peaceful location, Murti river and Chapramari ticket counter is only few hundred meters away. Nice cottages, courteous and helpful staffs, good quality food. The ambience of the resort was too good and it's very well maintained. There are scope of improvement in complementary breakfast menu and room cleaning. We stayed there for 3 nights but no one has come to clean the room. Secondly they should add few items in the complementary breakfast menu. But we have really enjoyed our stay here.

My visit to this place was extremely joyful. However, a word of advice. Do not add all possible items on menu and later after guests make a choice, tell them they are not available. Add items in menu which are generally available and the rest you can add as a special item on notice board. Ordering gets much easier.

One of the best places maintained by the wb govt. Very close to the river and you can venture out in the river water is crystal clear. Kids friendly and nice ambience, however cannot provide 5* due to below issues.
1. Food options are very limited and it takes more than 3 hrs to serve the food (ps i used to order dinner at 5 which used to be served after 8).
2. Prefer brick blocks (series 1xx) wooden cottages are old and not up the mark.
3. You will see the "SARKARI' attitude in the staff.

Affordable, peaceful and refreshing. An hour drive from Malbazar. Rooms are clean and the service is commendable.

Best place to stay in murti, have to walk 100m to reach murti river bed. (WBFDC property banani is just beside river, but now closed temporarily). Well maintained rooms, go for wooden cottages, if available. Food quality very good.staffs & hospitality nice

This is the best place to stay in Murti. A resort which is closest to Murti river. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good food. We had the best time here. Completely recommended

Murti tourist lodge is a lovely place with a charming environment. Staffs are very generous, very helpful. A short stay can refresh your clumsy mind, and let enjoy in the lap of mother nature.

Lovely ambience and well maintained cottages make this place a good getaway. The gardens are enticing with vibrant colours and pleasing bird calls. The restaurant space can definitely be improved and so can the WiFi service.

A very good resort by the West Bengal Tourism near the river Murti. Rooms are very much clean. The food quality is very good. The campus is also neat and clean with preety good decorations.
One can do the safari in Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary to sight wild animals. And in the early morning you can also find Rhino crossing in the river bed. We sighted two rhinos one in the evening and one in the morning. Plenty of peacocks come near the river both during early morning and late evening.
The staff needs a lot more improvement. And some part of this campus are still in construction phase. Once it gets completed the campus will look great. You can go now and they will give you nice rooms. There are many flowers and a big lawn.
Overall experience was nice.
