Food is like the sunlight to the cold storage

This lockdown has really slashed our happier times of going out and making memories over delectable cuisines.

Thankfully online delivery partners have kept our cravings in check and that too with the variety of global cuisines and to our prompt response, even though the rain has got on with its own tempo for quite a few days.

With the weather being a little clumsy. I thought of hogging onto some Burgers and Sandwiches and trying myself to be a Mr. Coloumbus on Zomato, My Big Fat Belly knocked over my impatience and put forward an extensive range of Continental, American & Italian CUISINE.

A shadow of what this joint used to be. Disappointed with food quality, options and services for the last 3-4 times in a row.

One of the best places to grab the perfect burger. Absolutely loved the food. Amazing experience. Definitely recommended and is one of my top favourites.

Visited the eaterie on 21.12.22. In spite of its high ratings everywhere, the restaurant was almost empty except one European customer who didn't look much happy about the food he was eating. In spite of the presence of meat platters on the menu, they were not available in reality. On the attendant' s recommendation, we ordered chicken steak and chicken lasagna. Chicken steak portion was good in size, and was served with mashed potato, fried veggies, sauce, a very small garlic bread and a poach. BUT THE STEAK WAS UNDERDONE, THE MEAT WAS FIBROUS, DRY AND HARD. The chicken lasagna was very small in size and was smelling only of cinnamon and tasted very average. I expressed my dissatisfaction about the food. The only attendant who sat at billing too, apologized, and without my asking, gave a discount of 28 rupees to the Rs. 828 bill and gave me a handwritten bill in plain paper, don't know why. I left the BIG FAT BELLY with my own big fat belly quite unhappy.

Cafe is small. Went there on Sunday night. But crowd was moderate. Service time was average. They were mostly involved in online deliveries.

A bit pricey but the taste did not disappoint. Ordered a big bong burger, it was served with a side of French fries and onion rings

The food quality is just amazing. The prices are high and it's a bit too small, I feel.

Its a small cafe at sarat bose road. Its small, cozy cafe but very well decorated.
Salads, pizza, pasta, moctails, sandwich are available. Pocket pinch for two 1000 rs.

Location and food was very nice. If you want to avoid the famous restaurants visit here. The food is equally tasty.
But the day we visited one of the air conditioners were not working and the inside was hot.

This place is not too spacious and has good dining options. We ordered tomato and mushroom and tomato soup and burgers and everything was good. I am only deducting 1 star because they don't provide normal water and a bottle of 500 ml bisleri costs Rs 49/- which is too much. Overall a good place to dining.

Service is so so so slow. Waited 1.5 hrs for a dish eventually had to cancel it and dine at azad hind dhaba which is much much better than you and fast. Even swiggy, zomato service people were rebuking them for being late with the orders.
Restaurant manager also seemed to not be able to control the employess resulting in slacking.
A long future doesn't seem likely for you, I'm sorry.

I ordered Big Bong Burger.
It was not that upto mark
It was under whelming
Lack of sauce and mayonnaise in the burger.
The chicken was dry in taste and doesn’t taste good.
Service was not that good.
Had much higher expectations from this restaurant.

Great food with pretty nice ambience but the only problem is space within the resturant is quite limited.

Cool place to hangout with friends. The ambience was nice. We had chicken strips and burgers. Their pulled pork burger is the best. It was amazing in my opinion. The rest of the food was good too. The chicken strips were crispy and juicy. Overall, it was a really good experience.

We loved the pulled pork nachos and the juicy Lucy burger with lamb patty. Specially the burger was commendable. The berry mojito pitcher was good too, but a tad bit on the sweeter side. The bacon Bomb and gondhoraj baked fish was good but we have tasted better. Especially the fish lacked the punch and aroma of gondhoraj lemon. The portion size could have been better. Each dish is just enough for one, that too not a very hungry one

Big Fat Belly is an authentic café with ample choice of bakes and meats. A friend and I visited BFB for for a Monday diner. The ambience was cozy & compact. We indulged in a lasagna and Caesar salad. They were beautifully presented, tasted flavourful, with decent size serving. The staff was friendly and responsive.
We would love to come back to BFB!

My Big Fat Belly is famous for their Burgers, Pizzas, and also for their mouthwatering Desserts. This place is located at 22 Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata- 700020. The cafe is beautifully decorated and has a cozy and soothing ambience. It can accommodate 15-20 people at a time. So, visited this cafe few days ago, coming to the food items that we had:

Started with Chicken Caesar Salad, Ala Kiev Shots, Grilled Chicken Fries, Herb Fried Chicken Strips. The Chicken Caesar Salad was loaded with chicken and veggies and was quite flavourful. The Fried Chicken Strips tasted amazing, the outer coating was very crispy and it was soft from the inside. The Ala Kiev shots also tasted good, small chicken balls filled with butter, tasted crunchy from outside and buttery from inside.

For the mains we had, Al Pacino Pizza, American Pizza, Chicken Jucy Lucy Burger, Big Bong Burger, Sun-dried Tomato Risotto with chicken and Aglio E Olio Spaghetti with chicken. The Al Pacino Pizza was loaded with bell peppers, olives, dried red chilli, basil, chicken pieces and cheese and the American Pizza was loaded with cheese and pepperoni. Both of them tasted delicious. The Chicken Jucy Lucy Burger had cheese and chicken based patty with lettuce, tomato, fried eggs and caramelized onions and it is served with French fries and onion rings. Then comes the Big Bong Burger, this burger contains Kosha Mangsho Patty, fried eggs with cheesy sauce and it is served with French fries and onion rings. The Aglio E Olio Spaghetti, spaghetti served with chicken and garlic bread, the spaghetti was light and tasted delicious.

And lastly, we ended up with Cheese Cake and Brownie with Ice Cream. The brownies went well with the vanilla ice cream and I liked their cheesecake, it was rich and creamy. And we also tried some beverages like Peach Ice Tea and Squidgy Brownie Shake. The Peached Iced Tea was very refreshing and the Brownie Shake also tasted well.

Overall a great experience. Loved their amazing service. I would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you My Big Fat Belly for having me over.

Chef's Special: Dolce Vita Mushroom Creme along with Garlic Toast

The portion size was really good, the Fish n Chips were perfectly made, it had the perfect blend and was soft and feeling.

Now coming to the best part, The chef's special
Dolce Vita Mushroom Creme: The feeling of mushroom and Creamy cheese packed inside the perfectly baked pizza bread was too good.

It was feeling, juicy, delectable to the taste buds

I am looking forward to try out there burgers soon.

My Big Fat Belly situated in Sarat Bose Road, Bhawanipur, is mostly known for it's thin crust pizzas and belly filling Burgers! I recently visited their outlet to try some of their must haves, which were -

Herb Fried Chicken: Boneless chicken strips crumbed and deep fried, served with garlic aioli and fries. Price- Rs. 249.

The American: Thin crust pizza topped with Italian tomato sauce and pork pepperoni, mozzarella cheese. This pizza will leave you craving for more. Price- Rs 509.

The Ultimate Juicy Lucy: You definitely have to try one of their burgers when you visit here. This juicy lucy burger was absolutely delicious. Thick chicken patty with caramelized onions and fried egg. Served with a side of fries and coleslaw. Price- Rs. 299.

Chicken Ala Kiev Shots: I love ala kiev. The ala kiev here is definitely worth a try. As you cut through it, the warm butter pours out and it's makes your mouth water. Definitely a must have here.

Cheesecake: What's better than ending your meal with a dessert and that too a cheesecake! Topped with blueberry compote. The dense cheesecake melts in your mouth! Price: Rs. 159.

All in all, loved my meal here. The quantity compared to price is pretty good. Menu is reasonably priced as well. Service was satisfactory. Hoping to drop by again soon. ️

We got their special pork pizza delivered to our home in Behala which was topped with Italian tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese blend, parmesan, mashed pork sausage, bacon, pepperoni, salami and dry red chilli drizzled with extra virgin olive oil.

As much as the toppings sound overwhelming and the portion says that it serves 3 to 4, it's a thin crust pizza and therefore won't fill you up. We did love the box it was delivered in (swipe to see the pics). Also the pizza with so many toppings didn't taste mind blowing. It's good for a one time try though with so many assorted toppings. I think the experience could have been better if it was served fresh at the restaurant than being delivered home.

Good ambiance. Good for a casual hangout. Chicken burger, thin crust pizza and brownie shake are nice.

The place is a bit small but cozy and exotic. The menu is like many people will find it difficult to understand but the description just beneath will clear the doubts. We have ordered, chicken in white sauce with garlic bread, it was yummilicious. We also have ordered Blueberry shake, it was beyond words. Amazing food at slightly higher prices bit worth it. Loved the burgers of this place. We tried the Crumb Fried Chicken Burger, Grilled Chicken Burger and Pulled Pork Fries. We really loved everything we tried. We were disappointment that we tried ordering Bacon Wrapped Prawns but it was unavailable

Heard a lot about this place and their food so decided to give it a try. My Big Fat Belly is located at 22 Sarat Bose Road, Kolkata 700020 and They are famous for their Burgers, Pizzas and lip Smacking Desserts. This cozy and beautifully decorated cafe can accommodate 20 to 25 people at once. Recently I visited this place with my friends and tried the following items:

We started with Chicken Caesar Salad, Grilled Chicken Fries, Ala Keiv Shots and Herb Fried Chicken Strips. The Chicken Caesar Salad was perfectly flavorful and deliciously satisfying. The Fried Chicken Strips were very crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. The Ala Keiv Shots were simply superb.

For the Mains we ordered Al pachino Pizza, American Pizza, Chicken juicy Lucy Burger, Big Bong Burger, Sun-dried Tomato Risotto with chicken and Aglio Olio Spaghetti with Chicken. Loved the thin crust pizzas and the pizzas were loaded with cheese, I really liked the crispy and crunchy texture of these pizzas. You just can't miss their signature dish Big Bong Burger, this Burger was loaded with kosha mangsho, Fried Egg, kasundi mustard mayonnaise and cheese sauce, served with Onion Rings and Coleslaw. This Burger was heavenly delicious. If you ever visit this place don't forget to try this one. The Chicken juicy Lucy Burger was equally good. The Aglio Olio Spaghetti was very light but full of flavours.

We ended this beautiful gastronomic experience with Brownie with Ice Cream and Cheese Cake. The Soft Brownies tasted amazing with the Vanilla Ice cream. I really liked their light yet rich and creamy cheesecake, it was lip-smacking.

We also tried few Beverages like
Peach iced tea and
Squidgy brownie shake. The Peach iced tea was very refreshing. The Brownie Shake was also great in taste.

Overall I had a great experience. Loved the food, the service was prompt even the staffs were very friendly. I would love to recommend this place to everyone.

I recently ordered Al Pacino Pizza and it was a complete bliss
I have attached some pictures and some closeups too for you to understand how ample amount of toppings (both veg & non-veg) were loaded on the pizza. It was a 12 inch pizza (8 slices), & was enough for 2 hungry tummies. Quite filling In spite of being with a thin crust base. The crust was super soft and thin as it should be. In a word, PERFECT. But yes, I would have been a little happier if there was a bit more cheese on the pizza. Otherwise it's a 10/10

Ordered a burger from here and it was really below average. Burnt on the sides and uncooked in the middle. They packed literally one teaspoon of coleslaw on the side, and onion rings tasted awful too.

This place is quite popular for it's burgers. But tbh I have had better burgers. It wasn't as delicious as I expected. However the price was reasonable and the ambience was cozy.

I got sick after having their food. Though taste was good with small portion but overall less value for money spent. Not recommending to my friends.

My Big Fat Belly known best for their delectable Burger, Pizzas, Italian and continental cuisine. A few days back I have decided to try American style pizza and guess what's come to my mind (My Big Fat Belly). There are several outlets in Kolkata but I picked up from the Picnic Garden outlet as that branch designed for delivery and takeaway joint. Since I have visited their Bhawanipur outlet couple of times, my expectations was quite higher from My Big Fat Express. Order anything from their cart with no doubt of possibility of disappointment.

Each & every item were very fresh & fabulous. Thin crust pizzas were very tasty with full of toppings & flavorful. Pasta, Prawns with bacon coating and their own's item went you to heaven. Items were themselves juicy when it combines with mint chutney or sauces they used, it becomes the next level experience that you have tried before.

Here are the items that I have tried -

2. Sundried tomato & chilly risotto - 10 out of 10
3. Carbonara pasta - 10 out of 10
4. Cheesecake of the day - 10 out of 10

8. Squidgy brownie - 20 out of 10 (very soft, I must say full paisa wasul. I recommend all of them but must have this item. Mouth melting taste).
9. Shroominator Burger - 10 out of 10 (you will get a huge portion & very yummy, well decorated and toppings were huge)

The only restaurant having a name which most food bloggers can relate to. The place I am taking about is called My BigFat Belly and they have a few outlets across Kolkata. The picnic garden outlet is only a delivery outlet but they serve a huge variety of dishes. They mainly focus on continental and Italian cuisine but from each section there are tons of dishes to choose from.

Since it is only a delivery outlet hence lets focus on what you can definitely order from here.

Undoubtedly they have a great collection of thin crust pizzas which are so delicious
that can give big brands a run for their money. From the pizza section Pizza AI fungi was a winner. This Italian pizza is topped with mozzarella, mushrooms, tomato sauce and parsley.

Pesto pizza is another simple yet delicious offer. This pizza although doesn’t have any topping other than pesto sauce and cheese but is full of flavours. I was overwhelmed to know that veg pizza could be so delicious.

Ala kiev shots is another unique and innings dish that you can go for. A dish from Ukraine that consists of chicken breast stuffed with herbs butter and cheese and then deep fried to have a crispy outer covering. Here the portion sizes are small that the traditional Ala kiev and hence the name.

Bacon wrapped praws would be my next favourite. Crispy bacon wrapped ober juicy prawns stuck together with the help of a toothpick.

There are plenty of Burger options that you can go for. All of them look stunning. They make their buns as well so you can expect a good deal from this place at the price that you pay.

From the desserts Blueberry Cheesecake was the ultimate winner. Nothing beats the pleasure of having a creamy cheesecake that has the perfect balance of sweetness. Possibly one of the cheapest cheesecakes of the town.

The chocolate brownies were made fully with chocolate and no flour was used in the process hence making them more chocolaty and heavy. You can’t have more than one slice of it, they are so dense.

Cheers to the chefs. Hope they maintain the quality and the variation that they have in their menu.

Had a nice experience here. Food is good specially the Ultimate juicy Lucy chicken burger, it's really tasty and with it, A bluberry mocktail, perfect combination. The ambience is not that Charming, yet it's attractive. The costing is average, and pork is available but not beef, that's good for many out there. If you visit now, you can enjoy IPL too in evening, as there is a TV also and a fine dining with it. Overall it's a good place, you can enjoy.

This place is just awesome. I am a vegetarian and I have never likes burger. Wherever I have ordered burgers, I have been let down (yes, even McVeggie). But the Jucy Lucy at The Big Fat Belly, had me wrapped around its finger (err. Burger).
The patty- crisp and with a bite, soft inside. The bread- properly toasted and not too greasy, the cheese-Pouring out from the first bite, taste- I have had this burger 3 times in the past 2 weeks.
So go ahead, either visit them ot order now online, but definitely try their burgers.
I can't really comment on the other dishes because I didn't try them, but having eaten there 2yrs ago, I remember that all food really was great.

The food I ordered was not good.
The fries were hollow and even the onion rings were just rings of batter.
The drinks were good though.

It was a horrible experience. The worst I have had in days. We ordered a bae-con nachos which hardly had any bacon in it. The burgers we picked were saltless and not at all good. I’d say a Macd Maharaja burger tastes better. Never coming back again: (
