Very Nice and cozy Hotel. Breakfast and dinner was delicious. No South Indian dish in the menu. However, I loved the hospitality food and cozy room ambience with beautiful views

This hotel has rooms right on the top of the darjeeling valley to give you its most pleasant view. The toy train just passes below making to listen to its whistle twice every hour. Truly enchanting experience of darjeeling.

It is far from town. For going and coming, it will take lots if efforts. Rooms and all are good. Good view form window. Only bad is it's location and no vehicles will be available from hotel to roam.

That was my experience in this hotel but I have been to lot of worthless Hotels before but I never thought of posting and giving review on any of them but this one is one of its kind.

They don’t have electricity backup.
They staff will make you regret why you booked this hotel.
Food was tasteless (they served us Kadhai chicken, but surely it was nt Kadhai chicken).
It is far away from main town.

Management and service are worst. Service staff has no idea of their issues. If you ask for anything basic like hot water in room (which is needed in hill station weather), management and owner says we can't help. On top of that they will ask for your advice to correct things and will ask to adjust with the ongoing issues.

WiFi doesn't work in any room, even at reception area.

They have done renovation of few rooms and it's still ongoing for remaining rooms. So rooms are good and few rooms have great view of valley.

But room service is worst. Even if you have 2 adults and 2 kids in a room, they will give you only 2 towels. There is no iron, no hair dryer, no laundry service, no hot water in any room. (Iron/hair dryer needed to dry wet clothes, as they does not get dried in hill station weather).

Food is not tasty and is being offered very limited food per person (like 2 rotis or 1 fish piece or 1 egg).
If you ask for sufficient amount of food they will say it will be with extra charges.
Even if you ask for second papad they will charge you extra.
Shef is very lazy to prepare food and you have to wait each time.

Great ambience, nice rooms with modern facilities. Food is quite good. Service is good. Affordable and value for money.

A very substandard hotel. Don't safe for female in this hotel. This hotel was one of the scariest moment of my all life. On 6th May (06/05/2023) we came to Darjeeling via Gangtok with my friend and our 3 childrens. We did not have any booking, we found the hotel through a hotel, they arranged our stay in the hotel. After just checking in at hotel Flora, no payment was made. The manager (Hotel Flora) of that hotel did it by calling our personally and indicating dirty hint. We two ladies feel unsafe there, then within 5 mins we left that hotel with babies. The manager (Aviyaan hotel) and some brothers (this areas powerful person) helped us a lot by rescuing us from Flora hotel and taking us to a safe place.

Very unsecured place, checkout the video. I was pulled out from my room late night. The person might sound polite but he was drunk and behaving polite once he got to know that I'm taking video of him. I raised concern regarding unhygienic room. Book the trip from MMT. Even they didn't solve my problem. Pathetic service. Don't go there even for free.
They do not resolve anything after multiple req.

We travelled Darjeeling through Yaro ki Sawari travel agent his service is good.
We was stayed in this resort, the resort is good, the staff, its service, cleanliness etc.all is well. Our suggestion to all of you is if you come to Darjeeling book this hotel/resort and enjoy your stay here.you have do also book directly these resort.

Rooms with view are freezing. Heaters won't be enough. Food service was amazing. Distant from main Darjeeling town- cab fairs will burn a slight hole in your pocket.

Mystic Rodhi resort changed my booking without notice and shifted me to 3rd grade hotel. They said they could not find my phone number. I had done booking 2 months in advance.shifted hotel was Silver Fern at Batasia loop. It was worst experience! Worst location, worst service, served bread with fungus, No ventilation in rooms, No Tata sky was working. No inverter/genetator backup, No basic services

Our stay was booked for 2N/3D but we were forced to check out in just 1N due to the room & service.

One star for upgrading room from Deluxe to Executive. Thank you for that.

Review on hotel/location

1. The hotel is far away from main city (~4/5 kms). Each time you need to go to the city, you need to spend min Rs 1200.2. The hotel is located at a remote place where you ll not get anything (Eateries/Tea shop/medical help).
3. If you book/get room with view & if there is no fog, you ll get good view.

Now review on Executive room (Room#506)

One word for the room, it's FILTHY.

1. Soon you enter the room, hardly any lights in the room. The fitted bulbs doesn't light the room enough.
2. Bad odours from room/washroom.
3. The room is at top floor so there is no concrete roof. It has asbestos sheet. It makes the cold unbearable. All over the roof water droplets.
4. Furnitures, roof having fungal infections.
5. The window doesn't have proper curtains. The windows were not closing properly neither insulated, cold air enters into the room.
6. Spitting marks near to bed side tables.
7. The room seems never cleaned. Dusts all over.
8. The provided electric kettle is not cleaned. Burnt tea residuces in the kettle. (See attached pic)
9. The geyser was not working. One person came to fix it and told after 15 mins hot water will come but it never came.
10. They charged Rs500 for the room heater which is basic need at winter in those places.
11. The over head tank is never cleaned. The water is not drinkable.
12. Intercom was provided, but it never worked. Took cell no of the person at reception, but whenever I called, not answered nor called back. (Called thrice for diff issues.)
Got only call post 20 mins of checkout asking for room heater price.

And manager told us, "We gave you the best room". If this the condition of the best room, then can imagine the condition of rest.

The hotel need a renovation or a complete cleanness and few staffs to be trained on how to talk to customers.

Property is located at very beautiful location you can see Kanchenjunga Mountain from your hotel room window and staff is very helpful and polite.

The rooms were pretty good but the service was pathetic. A bonfire and a dinner were planned for new year’s day but they were poorly managed probably due to dearth in the number of staff. There was no response to the services that we asked for related to cleaning of rooms. But the staff were well-behaved and cordial and were effective enough when it came to booking of cars for sightseeing.

Worst stay ever in my travel experience. They charge 500 bucks each day for heater, which should be available for free. They also charged extra 450bucks each for Mandatory Gala dinner, which we couldn’t even experience due to their lack of management. Food is as bad as it gets. The hotel manager doesn’t know anything about hospitality. In addition they charged 4K for executive rooms each, which didn’t even have 24hrs water.

A bit faraway location from centre of darjeeling.if u r a solely nature lover then this is a perfect place for u to stay.i prefer to be at ease with nature along with d charm of city so I will give them 3 star for a location.overall my experience is very good here.food was served hot, tasty.rooms were spacious with big windows.bathroom was small but it's ok.toiletries were given.electric kettle and coffee and tea packets with sugar all were there in d rooms. We had a problem with geyser but they solved it quickly.staffs were so friendly and helpful.i love this place

Super polished, hospitable, polite and professional staff.awesome food. Pleasent ambiance and have best Manager, Receptionist and Kitchen Head.
The only thing I want to point out is the rooms condition.
Rooms need to have proper bathroom doors and good accessories as cleaning and maintaining is not an issue because of well trained staff.

Innocent tourists are being looted by travel agents by booking this filthy hotel. Please be aware that all 4-5 reviews look manipulated. My stay of two nights has sent me to the hospital. Dirty water, stale food and passive smoking will kill you. Better stay on the road.

No facilities at all. They were only soup bowls for gravy. No management in kitchen. Food is not good. You will have to survive on toste and jam/butter. They have repeated menu for buffet. Location is not accessible. Taxi will charge 1800 for one way travel to nearby market place. One can get more reasonable and nice view hotels near market place. This location is not suitable for families with children. It may be pocket friendly hotel but traveling expenses will cancel all you plans.

Very narrow spce in rooms, unable to walk by the side of the beds. Toilets and bathroom are very small. Ni water in some rooms. Heater pipeline leaking.

A dirty place on earth. Just avoid otherwise you will not only repent but fall sick as everything is contaminated.

The hotel is very far from the market. Staff was not cooperating. Lack of cleanliness, the staff did not clean the table who had the last dinner, all the dirty dishes were there on dining table.

Dear all, you all are advised not to stay here. I stayed for two nights and as I had no option so somehow passed two nights like a prison. They should change it to a Paan Cigrette shop. Services are pathetic, people are pathetic, food is of zero quality. I wish I could give 0 as rating. They have tied up with travel agents and looting innocent tourists. I committed a blunder that I didn't read it's reviews. Please read all the reviews and all with one star are genuine. The lady at the counter is horrible.
They sprinkle bad perfume to minimise the stinking smell in rooms. Washrooms will make you puke. The entire dingy space of this third class hotel stinks with cigarette smell. There are many other negatives but I think it's sufficient to help you ignore this bedlam.

Lonely and calm place, pine trees surrounded. Good view towards Darjeeling and Kanchan jungha. Rooms are not so good an decorated at the price they charge other wise service is good. House keeping is bad, no tv signal available.

1 day stay at Mystic Rodhi Resort was overall a good experience.without making this review too long, I am giving some pros and cons which will guide you guys to choose this hotel.

1.pros: the resort is in a great location bakshi jhora.it's totally calm and quite place which you will enjoy a lot.cons: as the location is about 4km far from the darjeeling baazar, you need to spend ₹2000 everytime you want to visit the market and reach back.which I think a little costly.

2.pros: the staffs are too good.their behaviors, their manners, their etiquette everything is just too good.cons: as they are too good you can't raise your voice on them for any mistake they made or for not getting qny service you want.

3.pros: food quality is good.you can enjoy quality food.cons: there are no customization available for any food you want.also, the kitchen closes at 9: 30pm which is not at all acceptable for those who live urban lifestyle.

4.pros: room is far good in respect of the amount you are paying.cons: make sure you get all the amenities they are providing.in our case the TV wasn't working.moreover it was a good and satisfactory stay.the staffs were too good. I enjoyed it.

Visited this hotel for stay of 2days on Dec 2021 recommended by my Utsav arbii tourism (who looks for the booking of this hotel). One of the worst hotel ihave ever stayed in. There services were pathetic, they don't even have proper blankets for there guest. Rooms was full of wet sepage. Geyser was not working even after complaint to the front desk they were not able to fix it. Wash room window were open glass with no privacy. There restaurant serves the worst food everything was cold and very unhygienic. Iwould never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our was from 13th -15th August'21. This Resort is in Jalapahar. Which is closer to Jore Bunglow More. If you are planning to visit TigerHIll then this might be a good & premium place for the stay. The road directly connects to Darjeeling (Brodway Annex road) and 1Km from Ghoom Station. This resort has an open parking place if front of their property.

We got premium suite like room which has 2 bed rooms & 2 bathrooms including a balcony with nice view of Darjeeling Dali Monestry.

This resort has a beautiful dining place. Hotel Staff was very good and helpful. Specially one chap, his name is Madhu. He is a gem of guy. You can name it he'll arrange it for you.

Overall if you want to stay away from the crowd of darjeeling, then this place is for you. Also having your own vehicle is a plus point.

Service not proper, food was not proper, receptionist was rude, no sweet dish in buffet, rooms were not upto the mark, TV not working

Its a fraud property, it has shown one picture of room and the original room is very poor, anyone cannot stay there, its food is so poor that your dog will refuse it, and most of all, the general manager of this hotel is a good actor, i suggest all the guest pls cannot choose this poor and digusting hotel.

Changed room thrice. Washroom was absolutely horrible. Should not take as it is on an undriveable place for private cars

This hotel is extremely poor in service, they are badly managed with unprofessional, rude and arrogant service team. Would suggest you to stay in some non star normal dormatory rather than put step on this fake 3 star hotel.

Neither they are maintaining hygiene in room or restaurant. I have found they are providing water in used plastic bottles in corona time, their washroom gyeser capacity is 5 litter only means if you're taking bath someone have to wait for warm water for 15 minutes after washing face and hair only.

The plates in restaurants if you will see you would avoid to take meal in it, you will find their dinning tables are in very bad manner.

No single staff following covid 19 protocol, so dear never ever think to go for this resort booking. We have suffered as tourist and had realised worst experience of my 33 years as traveller.

Rooms are comfortable but it was evident that housekeeping staff was inadequate. Overall a good one.

CAREFUL! THIS IS NOT A 3 STAR HOTEL. Nothing works properly. Riju, the managing director doesn't care about his hotel staff. Absolutely no respect for the job the hotel staff does. I, myself worked here and I called in sick. I continued to work even though I was sick but when I couldn't work no more, instead of checking on me he asked me to leave. The kitchen is the dirtiest place in the world. A public toilet is cleaner. Please don't visit this stay. If u don't get sick from the dirt you will surely get sick from the bacteria in your food. Overall ratings is 0 in everything. Employees are made to work 15 hours daily with minimum wage and no overtime pay.

Was going to give negative star but no option. They are the worst in hospitality. No food in dinner. For breakfast cold food is being served. They are not even able to provide tissue paper and upon asking response is house keeping has left for the day. The so called GM of the hotel is worst in management. Their service entirely ruined our trip. Please don't fall for the photos of the room. Their service is pathetic

After just entering in the hotel room we felt that we have done a big mistake by choosing this hotel so called resort. There was a smell in room and damping walls with uncleaned floor, old blanket, dirty bedsheet. Absolutely there was only TV without cable connection and no WiFi. There was no any chair provided for sitting inside the room. The wash room was smelling like it is not cleaned and have photos in my mobile can tell about all. There was a big lichen in bathroom. Regarding staff service, For a single thing I had to ask to staff so many times then it gets delivered. The staffs denied to deliver a tea at 6.30 Pm by saying snacks times is over. In morning no bed tea and can be only after 8.30 am. During my stay I had already complained MMT about this during my stay. The hotel manager Mr. Nilamban was not serious about the hospitality of the customer. He is taking things very easy. Rest I need to put on another platform with the photos so that other tourists should not be in trouble. Besides it the Hotel rooms windows are easily accessible from the road and back path, even the window are not properly closed. Horrible!

Room are OK But interior is damaged. TV is not available in room. No intercom. The resort is at remote location. No public transport is available. Over all is satisfactory

The view from room of kanchenjunga was very clear and beautiful but the room which was shown on mmt n WHT they provided was very different.no one even asked for water also after arrival.poor cooperation of staff and room not well maintained as per it should be according to the rates we paid.and it is very far from mall road and chaurastra and we have to pay huge amount even to go down to market.

Me (Sarbajit dhar) and my family currently staying in Mystic rodhi resort at Darjeeling. 13th October I have chk-in and tomorrow 15th Oct I will chk out. I will suggest not to stay in this property, service is below standard, yesterday night hotel had served over boiled smokey rice with chicken, beds are uncomfortable and provided blankets are very very below standard, today 14.10.2021 morning has asked for tea, reception person said it can't be served at room, but room has electrical kettle unfortunately that electrical gadget not in working conditions.

At the time of booking the management showed me a room and gave me some other room price wise it's same.when I denied to take the provided room, mr.sudipta from Mystic hotel management said if customer is not willing to take the provided room ask customer to leave the property.it's a complete waste of money and if you really wants to spoil your holiday then please visit this property.

The worst experience ever. I along with 6 girls booked w trip from Sikkim to Darjeling through @traveltrangle booked us a stay at this pathetic hotel we reached the hotel around 19: 00-20: 00hrs since we had to travel from Peling to this pathetic place. On entering the hotel a DRUNK MANAGER comes out unable to walk properly barely tryin to stand trips and falls on his way to the wash room. On seeing this we felt uncomfortable and the receptionist showed us to our room which was at the basement. The rooms were filled with moulds and fungus and had a very bad most smell the sheets were yellow and the furniture had fungus on them. We request to change the room however their other rooms seems to be the same as bad as the previous one. Being so upset with the whole situation we called our agent to request to change of rooms during this time the drunk manager BHANU comes out and starts yelling on top of his voice accusing us to be some sort of "call girls" tried coming close to us and verbally abusing us such a cheap character guy who dint know english himself yelled at us and passed comments for speaking in English. When we started fighting back he touched and pushed one of my girl. He stated not to allow us to stay in his pathetic hotel and insisted for a rapid antigen when we had our double dose of vaccination. When we asked his staff to give us the owner number he raised his hands and slap the lady staff for giving our the number. He insulted her and she was in tears. The landlord Miguel who kept apologizing to us for the entire situation did not stop nor said anything to his manager Bhanu infact non of the shameless staff did anything and stood there and watched the entire situation. It such a shame for such a reputed (apparently) hotel to have such disgusting people working for them. We clearly could not stay in such an environment late night in a new place hence we had to search for our own hotel late night. Our agent Travel triangle promised to refund the entire amount spent for the hotel however next day the owner of the hotel who was not present there denied to offer refund and accused us for making an issue. They denied to view the CCTV footage. A worst hotel ever never would recommend such a place to anyone traveling there. Waste of our money lost trust in travel trangle never had such an experience like this ever before

The drivers take 600 rs per trip. Not round trip. Just one trip. 600 rs for hotel to Mall. 600 rs from Mall to hotel.

The roads are absolutely unsafe after sunset. There are no street lights. You cannot walk.

The receptionist is a good looking girl, who although soft spoken, is not very apt in her work. Everyone is very unprofessional and always fidgeting.

ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS WERE STOLEN - HARD CASH AND PHONE - FROM THE HOTEL ROOM ITSELF, AT NIGHT.

WHEN WE ASKED THE GENERAL MANAGER "WHO WILL TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THIS THEFT, HE SAID THE RESPONSIBILITY LIES WITH US.

THIS HOTEL CANNOT PROVIDE SIMPLE SECURITY TO ITS VISITORS. WE WERE ROBBED WHILE WE WERE PRESENT IN THE ROOM, SLEEPING, AT NIGHT.

ALL THE HOTEL ROOM WINDOWS ARE EASILY ACCESSIBLE FROM THE ROAD AND BACK PATH AND THE CARNISH IS AT THE SAME LEVEL AS THE BACK PATH OF THE HOTEL.

THE DOORS DO NOT CLOSE PROPERLY. THE WINDOWS DO NOT CLOSE PROPERLY.

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL.

The resort is very nice and clean, the rooms are very clean. The food is very delicious. Totally worth visiting and wont pinch your pocket much.

Horrible experience. Stayed there for 2 nights August 27th and 28th 2021. We were 8 in number. One room they provided was had actually drenched in rain
Moreover, the most horrible was when my kid of 8 years asked for mineral water they gave him water stored in bottle which was earlier used to buy kerosene.
The kitchen was unhygienic and altogether I had a terrible and unpleasant stay in this hotel.

THIS HOTEL CANNOT PROVIDE SIMPLE SECURITY TO ITS VISITORS. WE WERE ROBBED WHILE WE WERE PRESENT IN THE ROOM, SLEEPING, AT NIGHT.

ALL THE HOTEL ROOM WINDOWS ARE EASILY ACCESSIBLE FROM THE ROAD AND BACK PATH AND THE CARNISH IS AT THE SAME LEVEL AS THE BACK PATH OF THE HOTEL.

THE DOORS DO NOT CLOSE PROPERLY. THE WINDOWS DO NOT CLOSE PROPERLY.

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL.

YOUR LIFE IS AT RISK IF YOU VISIT THIS HOTEL. YOU CAN VISIT IT IF YOU WANT AN ADVENTUROUS DANGEROUS NIGHT EXPERIENCE.

Room quality is good, nice view kanchanjangha from room window, staff is very good specially bhanu ji, utpal das, diksha all staff is very good

Very bad behaviour of staff, they usually drink in evening and misbehave with ladies. Suggestions: - avoid checking after evening

Vanu is very dearest and Utpal also dearest and very co operative. But some of stuff didnot respect the guest.
Need more improvement of overall room service.

Beautiful View of Kanchenjunga from hotel room windows. Very well behaved staff. Neat and clean, sanitized rooms. Only drawback is its food. All the food items are not so tasty. Some are good though.

Location wise excellent and little bit outside from Ghum and Darjeeling also. Cooking section take the advantages of this and provide some food which is not good and costly. But stuff are co operative.

Nice resort affordable price.
But resturant is very bad.
Bad quality food provide.the food is totally freeze food.

Very nice place but very high cost of transport for the hotel to market aprox 500rs to 800 rs cost for the aprox 4km distans

A very good place to chill out & the hospitality was great too, if you go there please try their barbeque chicken.

Budget Resort, calm place, parking available, spacious room, and awesome view from window. There is scope of improvement especially in water arrangement, and in quality of food. Over all its good considering the budget.

This is a place, just awesome. Owner (Neelanjan Da) is a very gentle man. Behaviour of Neelanjan Da, you can not imagine. All staffs are very good.

This place is amazing, rooms are spacious and view from room is mesmerizing.staff are friendly and polite, specially Diksha. It was nice staying at this property. This place is away from crowd. Resort has free parking. Food is okay. Overall great property in Darjeeling. We will stay here again whenever come again.:) Recommend.

The most striking point is the amazing view from the room.food and services are very good. I must mention Diksha, Mithu and Dina. They all make the ambience so positive and lively that you will enjoy every single moment of your stay. The only disadvantage is the distance from mall road. I strongly recommend this hotel.kudos.

3rd Class Hotel. Nothing on the name of Services. Too far away from the market.
I booked the hotel rooms on high price then the usual still Hotel didn't provide us heater.

I recommend not to book this hotel.

It was excellent staying in Mystic Rodhi Resort Darjeeling, the view of kanchanjunga was awesome, the polite behaviour of the staffs & the tasty food added more to it. We definitely visit the property again & will recommend to the close ones. Front office lady Diksha deserves spl mention.

This was the worst hotel ever, the hospitality of the manager is the worst. We expected the rooms are really nice as per the picture shared over the internet so booked it, but the room was nothing like it showed in the picture:
1.there was only one dim light in the entire room.
2.no hot water was available.
3.we got shocked in the bathroom due to the open wiring of the geyser.
4.the wall is coming off
5.there were stains on the bed and the blanket
6.the toilet pan was broken
7.the manager did not even acknowledge our complaint
8.the hotel was supposed to be the best, but it turned out to be the worst of our entire trip

I have shared the actual pictures of the Delux rooms, please check them so that you got get fooled.

FRAUD, ARROGANT, RUDE MANAGER. DON'T HAVE SENCE TO TALK WITH CUSTOMERS AND PUT ALLEGATION ON CUSTOMERS THAT THEY HAVE DAMAGED HOTEL'S PROPERTY AND COLLECT MONEY FROM THEM. UNHYGIENIC FOOD AND ROOM AND WASHROOM WITHOUT ANY INFRASTRUCTURE. I WILL GIVE 0/5.

Very nice hospitality of the workers
We asked for extra blanket and they just gave us without asking anything
Very amicable persons they were.
Bit in the offplace, had to ask people to find the hotel
Food was moderate in that price range
But the room was amazing with all amenities
A must visit i would say.

1. This place is situated at interier location where is nothing around and approx 6km far from Mall road. Have to pay 2000/ up and down.
2. Rooms is not warm specially when you travel in winter. Heater or blower is not sufficient for all rooms.
3. Food is below average which hardly can be eat.
4. More Important that behaviour of duty manager is very rode.

At the end not good place to stay. So one can avoid to stay there

Considering the price they charge (if you book through mmt or go ibibo) this place offers a lot more than one can bargain for.
However, transportation is an issue. It charges 500 rupees to go to the darjelling myall (1000 for both way trip- going and returning). They journey takes around 12-15 mins by car. Not exactly located in darjeeling but suit rooms offer a breathtaking view of darjeeling. (i have added photos)

Rooms (3/5) Rooms are good, spacious however not all the lights work. In our case the light at the bathroom was flickering. TV wasn't working. And only hot water was coming out through the basin tap.

Restaurant: Food is tasty as well as healthy. Not overpriced. However complementary breakfast has very limited options amd requires improvement. During my stay menu was:
Day 1: puri, sabji, pasta, boiled egg, tea, coffee.
Day 2: paratha, sabji, poha, omelette, tea, coffee.

Service: As far as the behaviour of the staffs are concerned this place deserves 100 on 10. Special mention must be made of Mr. Peter and the young man serving at the dining hall.

Bonfire: Time- 6 to 9. This facility can be availed at a price of 800. For 1.5 kg chicken the additional cost is another 800.
This i found a bit costly.

For birthdays and other special occasions they decorate the place however they charge for the same. This facility is however complimentary in most of the resorts i have visited.
Nevertheless at a nominal charge they made great arrangements.

Looking forward to another stay. Perfect for students.

They are very help full, very generous, other stuffs are also very nice.and they have 5star view.you can see entire kanchanjungha reng from the room. Food is not that up to mark.
