Although the place is very much inside the Hogg Market, but once you get there you will be very much satisfied with their different items. Ive visited here several times and never been disappointed with their products, everything is freshly baked.

Somewhere, I have an average experience with their payment procedure. In a world where most of us transact on Online Payment, there I always have a negative experience in payment.
Also, they don't accept all kind of Cards, they accept only selected ones.
So, I somewhere don't like with their payment procedure service.

Literally awestruck by the variety and taste of the bakery items I tried at this 105 year old bakery at Esplanade, Kolkata - Nahoum and Sons. I came to know from the owner of the shop that it was the last and only Jewish bakery in Kolkata and nearby regions.

I went to this place with my mother and listened to her childhood memories in this place while having a lemon tart and heart cake! Yes, it is that old and the phrase "Old is Gold" totally suits this particular shop. The cakes and pastries and everything in here were so soft, spungy and it smelled really really good. The ambience of this place is amazing for people those who wanna experience a trip back in the 90s. All the food items available here are definitely worth trying, you will not regret it! Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Tried their chocolate ball cake and mayonnaise chicken which was good in taste and quality.
Also tried their chese puff and pizza pattie which could have been much better.

My wife bought chicken patties today from Nahoums and I could not believe that I was eating a Nahoum product. I have been buying from them for the past 50 years and never ever had a complaint. This is the first time. The chicken patty was dry and filled with breadcrumbs. I hope they will look into it.

Visited on 25th Dec at around 6.30 pm, only option of takeaway, and limited items were available, tried chocolate pastry, sugar content is slightly on the higher side, so, u may be cautious before trying pastries but fruit cake is awesome.
