Very warm approach they had. I went with my parents regarding my wedding tatto sweets and they provided good suggestions on the longevity of the various sweets.

It's a heritage sweet shop of Kolkata. Quality of sweets are very tasty. I love the ' norom paker jol bhora talsas' which is amazing in taste, 'gur' present inside that sweet. Various chocolate sweets are present. In summer season various mango flavoure sweets are also available. Among different sweets, various sandesh are speciality in their shop.

Got some sweets ordered from zomato as i wanted it to be delivered to one of my friends in Kanpur.amount Rs 500/-. The zomato people did not deliver it and said they have given back the sweets to the shop mentioned above.when I called them (many times) they said that we have got back the sweets but we will neither refund the money nor hand over the sweets to my friend (who somehow made an attempt to pick up the sweets from the shop). So very bad experience from this shop.they would have sold my sweets again to somebo

A old and renowned sweet shop of north Kolkata now open in many more places. My favourite is 'mousumi' and 'butterscotch sandesh'.

The sweetmeats here are good, but personally I prefer Bancharams or Kamdhenu or Balaram Mullick & Radharaman Mullick.
