Nanking Restaurant & Bakery

It is well located, just opp. To clock tower, mall road. We ordered from their Korean menu. Kimbab was tasty. Price wise Bibimbap was less. Momo's were tasty and juicy. Korean fried wings was the best! Overall a nice place to go and grab a bite in Mall road. The staff was good and friendly. Looking forward to visit soon.

Went there after months hoping the food would still be good but they've degraded.

ordered 3 dish none of it was good the burger was a mess the meat in it was bland tasteless noteven salted,
The kimbap was awful dry rice with just egg and salami wrapped no carrots cucumber nothing kimch was cabbage in dalle ko paste lol

Ordered momos after reading reviews, the momos were really delicious, chicken patty burger was wholesome with thick tasty patty, crispy chicken burger was little on the oily side, may be due to delay in online delivery on a rainy day, but otherwise ok, looking forward to visit the restaurant and try other items from its huge menu section.

The food was really good. Very few places present that food at that price. It's a very basic place, but with great options. Good Asian options. Ramyun is a must try. Didn't like the momo as much.

Too slow for a restaurant.waited for an hour for two fried rice, at last they said that the rice ran out.funny for a restaurant.disappointed!

Momos and French fry was good. Moreover the ambience is better as compared to other restaurants nearby.

Quality of food has deteriorated drastically after they have expanded. Would not recommend to anyone anymore. Pork dishes are filthy with pork hair still present, skin not removed. Less meat in every dish. Overall lesser quantity than before. Unjustified pricetags wrt quality and quantity.

Nanking is a great place for eating. It's situated above Boney's. We ordered multiple items on multiple visits. Their momo was, hands down, one of the best and juiciest momos in whole Darjeeling. Trust me, you'll rarely find such juicy momo anywhere. The thukpa was fantastic too.
The pricetags of the pahari-cuisines are quite good.
Speaking of which, the pricetags of the world-cuisines are a bit on the higher side. Pasta, noodles, and other speciality foods are a bit costly compared to the quantity. But the taste and quality are superb. Chilly pork, bibimbap (a Korean rice meal), pasta all were fantastic. We had their cheesecake also. It was so delicious. Added bonus is that they accept digital payment (something which is rare in Darjeeling). Mr. Nanking Rai and Ms. Priyanka are very genial and warm.

Thank you Nanking for the delicious lunch. I think its the best restaurant over here.but very less person know about it. Must must visit here in Darjeeling.

We wanted to have Oriental food and our Hotel manager recommended Kunga but since there was a queue here, we searched and found this place which undoubtedly is good when it comes to food, its quality and quantity and at very good price. Worth trying rather than (apparently hyped) Kunga.

Horrible experience of dining at Nanking. We ordered an American Chopsuey, 2 burgers and tomato soup on 27th Oct. We were seated around 7.45 pm. The order in which we were served were American Chopsuey, 2 burgers and tomato soup, all topsy turvy and that too after waiting for more than an hour.
They exactly have one chef, one server, and one owner and of course one stove.

Two burgers took them more than 45 mins to land on our table.

There were no glasses provided, we had to ask for that and the water served was stinking of chlorine. When burger was served the server put the plate on table without individual plates. We had to request for plates. The American Chopsuey was covered in so much food colour that it looked like my husband was wearing lipstick.

Finally the soup was served, horrible tasting, and I lost it when I discovered a fly floating on my soup.

The place is horrible and don't spoil your holiday by visiting this restaurant, that is if you are on a holiday.

We tried Nanking's style Pasta, Chicken cutlet, Crispy Chicken with cheesy sauce. All the food items was fresh and tasty and we were seated in their new extension outlet and had a wonderful experience to dine at Nanking's. I will definately reccomend this place.

It was on 27th oct we visited Nanking's refered by one of our friends. Due to peak festival time most of the restaurants were closed and finding good restaurants at this time is Oasis in the desert and thank god we found Nanking's. The moment we steped at Nanking's one the staffs informed us as due to peak festival time most of their staffs was on Pooja holidays and the food prepartion and service may get delayed and we decided to take a chance as we had no option.
We tried continental, korean and chinese cuisine. Butter lemon Chicken was lipsmacking and their Nankings combo with burger fries and wings were awesome too. Its a must visit place and we would like to try Nanking's on our second trip to Darjeeling.

Food was so good here. Never had been to a restaurant which serves so good chinese, italian and continental food at the same time and that too at a reasonable price.

If you don't ask you are likely to miss this place but please make it a point to ask the locals and cone hear. It is just a little ahead of the Park restaurant on the 1st floor. The decor is simple and the staff welcome you with a smile. The food is simply awesome. Noodles, fried rice, bibimbap, pork every dish is amazing. Some of the best Chinese and Korean food I have ever had. If you don't come here you will have missed out. A definite must visit when you are in Darjeeling.

Food quality is great and affordable. Service is extraordinary. The guys have a very good music taste. I absolutely loved the place. 10/10 recommended.

This place simply provides the best food. I tried Korean and continental. If you are someone who appreciates authentic taste in any dish, this is where you would want to be!

Went there a month ago and so glad I did! The food was great, and the people were incredibly nice to us. We ordered some dishes from the Korean cuisine, and all of them were perfectly made! Cozy, comfortable and a great place to sit and chat with your friends, Nanking’s ambience is 10/10 as well.

Still didn't understood why it was not much crowded every 3 times I went here. They serve delicious food with good price. The restaurant is a bit inside a building, so might find hard to locate it. But it's a must go as they serve good budget oriented food.

A cozy restaurant tucked in an unassuming building right opposite to the SBI building near the clock tower. I heard about the place from a friend who praised the Korean food here. And damn I'm so glad I checked it out myself. Every item was freshly made. The kimbap was my favorite. The ramen, the japchae, and the bibimbap were also lipsmacking! Quantity to price ratio is also very reasonable. Overall a great place for Asian cuisine lovers.

I was quite surprised that no guests there when we visited this little gem right at the heart of Darjeeling. All the foods we ordered are very good. Pasta is surprisingly good and my daughter savoured it fully. Ofcourse chinese/korean items are their speciality and their garlic potato is one of the kind I have ever tasted and it is too good. Please do visit this restaurant and support them. One star less for no proper hand wash.

This is a small restaurant with lots of options and the quality & quantity of food is way better then the popular restaurant I would definitely add this to the must try list in Darjeeling.

The Best Momos in Town

Its January 2022, Darjeeling seems to be going through a very rough time, very tough time when it comes to felicitating tourists. Almost all the shops are getting closed early in the evening. Don't who is to be blamed, the Chilling weather or the lack of tourists.

I came accross this Restaurant after have walked from Summit Hermon Hotel in search for Darjeeling's Darling Momos. After having disappointed to see the name/ fame shops like Kunga and few others closed.

Its a cozi place with a variety of things on the menu. I was amazed to find an Italian Dish to be the Speciality of the Day. I ordered MOMO, Veg, Chicken, Steam & Fried.all kinds. I did have some reservations because I had not come across this name in any review or youtube video earlier.but in my heart I had a feeling, how can people of Darjeeling go wrong with Momo?

I will not bore you more.

The Momos were great. Just Lips Smacking and light coated Juicy Deliciousness. In fact I am left to believe that probably this is one of the best Momos in Darjeeling. A must try for new comers and the not so food experts & Food reviewers.

The next time if I come to Darjeeling, I would like to see this place to have survived and welcomed by everyone.

One the most underrated eateries in Darjeeling. It is twice, if not thrice, better than many of the established, hip or Instagram-worthy eating joints in the area. It is a cozy corner serving heart-warming food. There is a separate cake shop which is run by the owner too, and you can order desserts from that shop without having to leave your table!

This place serves delicious food, specialist in chinese and Tibetan food, they also serve continental dish. We had for 4:
*chicken manchouy soup
*chicken hot and sour soup
*korean chicken wings (bit spicy)
* Italian chicken piccata
* chilli pork dry
* mixed hakka noodles
Must try for every visitor who loves to explore different taste.
