Taste of the sweets is good, but it was much better before. Options are increasing day by day but quality is decreasing.
And also the behaviour of the owner is very rude. It has been changed notably after death of the founder.
That's why I have changed my destination to buy sweets. There are several options around this with good quality and manners.

One of the oldest sweet shops here in Sonarpur. You will usually find this place crowded with people.

The shopkeeper is a rude an arrogant person. Don't buy sweets from here. I asked thrice for rabri half a kg he listened and nodded is head without looking at me and then after waiting for sometime when all other customers are getting serviced. I asked what about my order he arrogantly asked me either come on the other side or just leave. Going to a sweet shop on a Sunday afternoon only to buy sweets and enjoy not getting insulted at. I want to see how he keeps his business prosperous with this uneducated uncouth rude attitude.

Staffs' behavior is good. You can get proper quality sweets. Variety of sweets available. Reasonable price. This sweet shop is near to the SONARPUR RAILWAY STATION. But you may have to wait for a time to get your demandeds. But in the evening, congested area.

Old and trusted place to local people for sweets and desserts. Various conventional and new variations of sweets are available here. You can also order for any ceremony of your house. They also serve curd both normal and sweetened. They also selling Various Ice-cream s and paneer

Quality of sweets has got detoriated from the time of our late beloved RAM DA. His sons' are running the sweet shop which is located in such a place from where each and every passenger can see and there are a lot of flying customer who are daily buying from there.
They need to be more hygenic and simultaneously will have to maintain good quality of ingredients required to prepare palatable sweets.

A variety of delicious sweets are available here and also price is on the higher side as compared to other sweet shops. For eg 500 gms misti doi costs Rs 110 here whereas similar quality doi costs Rs 60 elsewhere. But you can always find a crowd due the quality. Parking is a problem as it is near the street.

Experienced sweetmakers. They have the best ever Curd (Dahi) in that region. Nowadays they serve Kachuree in plenty good quality.
