Some points to be kept in mind before if you visit this place
1. This resort is located in Howah, Deulti.
2. The quality of the rooms aren't the best but OK for a day stay.
3. The condition of entering this resort is no outside food allowed & no alcohol allowed.
4. The food that they serve is stale or expiry date over food.
5. All the places have DJ Box.
6. For breakfast that served Luchhi, Allur Dom and rosogolla (Luchhi was OK but Allur Dom was bad and rosogolla was without ros)
For lunch they had paneer, Kofta, rice and dal for vegan people and for non-vegan people they had chicken, mutton, rice, dal etc. (the paneer had human hair)

Its a nice place for a day outing. We recently went there on a family picnic. We had a good day liked it by all!

Fantastic place for day trip or for stay. Children find lots of place to spend their vacation in their way. Have swimming pools, play ground etc

Huge grounds to spend the entire day.the rooms need renovation and food is also not upto mark as per price. But its a very good place to spend a day due to the open spaces mainly for kids

A budget resort in Deolti (Howrah District) around 1 hour - 1.5 hours drive from Kolkata. The resort has a swimming pool and multi-gym. Swimming pool charges ₹50 per person. Accomodation facilities have rooms as well as cottages with 02 - 03 bedrooms as well as dining area. There is only one restaurant which serves all meals throughout the day, i.e. Breakfast, lunch and dinner or any round the clock meals. The resort provides In-room dining facilities also. Food prices are quite reasonable. There is no bar in the resort and neither they serve any alcohol. One has to carry thier own alcohol with them. Outside food is not allowed inside resort. Eminent Bengali writer Mr. Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's residence is at the proximity and anyone interested about visiting this Heritage site can hire some toto- service outside the resort to visit the place. The River Rupnarayan is at a close proximity for a boat ride. Weekends remain busy and there is lot of rush.

It's a very good day outing spot specially for winter.

They have well maintained lawns full of green grass with so many trees and plants. In winter you can see lot of flowers.

They have many field staffs to maintain their lawns. They have 4 different lawns with lot of standalone buildings for overnight stays.

The swimming pool are well maintained. Entry fee is 50 for swimming pool. Only those who are taking room are allowed to enter in Swimming pool. I haven't seen any dress restriction.

Campus entry fee is 20 if you are not taking any room.

The food quality is average and bit costly. For day outing, order your food well and advance. They have thali as well as ala cart options.

There are many playing options for kids, sea saw, swing, and many fun rides here and there. Lot of birds and rabbit are kept. They have a small pond with full of fish. The most beautiful part is a island with 1st floor sitting area above this pond. Full of wind and relaxing spot.

Reception have soft drinks and water for sell. The reception staffs are quite good.

The biggest drawback is they only accept cash, no cards or upi or any online payment options are available. So be ready with lot of cash. And i am seeing this since past 11 years and they are everytime refusing online payments. Though they are charging you GST with some hand written bills. They just don't want to start online/card payment for some 'reason'. Even every time they told the same excuse for last 11 years 'card machine was stopped working and will be available soon' though they don't even have any card swapping machine infront of reception even as a show piece.

Overall the experience is good for 1 day outing or 1 night stay.

Nice spacious resort. Food quality is good. Though sometimes it becomes quite a rush. You don't have to book a room to dine at the restaurant, which is a good thing.

This place is economic but does not get proper closure. Their services are quick but foods are bit overpriced.

Probably this is the oldest resort. Need to maintained more judiciously for tourist attraction.

A nice place for perfect day out trip or staycation. Manager and all staffs are polite and very helpful. Swimming pool is also very nice. The food quality of the restaurant is awesome.

Spend time with friends and so much fun in pool. 50 RS per head is pool charge and you can spend quality time make fun with your friends. To fresh your mind you can visit this place and good behavioural stuff and friendly manager. Food is also good.

A very spacious resort with beautiful gardens, plenty of swings, seesaws and slides for children to enjoy. They are keeping rooms thoroughly cleaned and sanitised in this pandemic situation. Extremely efficient and well behaved staff. Everything reasonably priced and good quality food. Great place for weekend stay.

No Idea about the New Accommodation/Room Facilities. Looks Decent from outside though.

Very Big Property. Well Maintained After Lock Down. The 4 Beded Room Is Very Big With 3 Bathrooms. The Room Service IS Very Fast. The Foods Are Awesome.

Visited this place on 8th August 2021 to have lunch. First of all carry a lot of cash because they don't accept cards and the food price is super high. So you need a good amount of cash. The whole procedure is not very customer friendly. They will force you to order and pay advance a certain amount before they let you go in the dining area. No AC. However the food taste was good. Amidst this pandemic situation they have their swimming pool open and no restrictions are there. For one time visit its okay, if you didn't get any honest review of this place. But second time? Never ever.

Nirala Resort is situated at Mellock (Deulti). But what sets it apart from the rest is the peaceful atmosphere set in lush green surroundings with attractive seasonal flowers and beautiful birds to give the most relaxing holiday. The Resort offers 40 spacious rooms, set in 10 acres of land. The rooms have a cozy look with modern furniture and some of them are air conditioned. Reasonably priced sumptuous Bengali Food along with marble fountain and conference halls are available at the Resort premises.

The name "Nirala Resort" should be changed to "Jalapala Resort". When we visited the resort some loud music was being played to entertain the guests the swimming pool. This entertainment continued till 4 PM even after request to stop / volume control. Such loud music is not at all acceptable at resort named "Nirala". We had lunch there. Other than Pomfret fish all other dishes were low quality. Disappointed.

A good place for a day out. Good spot for picnic also. Visited twice as of now for picnic purpose only. Not sure about rooms for staying. Or staying in the night. Might be a little spooky in the night because of the open spaces in between the cottages. Also could be a little shady for family staying. For a day trip its very very much fine. You can comfortably go with a group of friends for staying.

Spot is very good.staff behaviour is very good. But food quality is good only Morton quality is very much poor.

Situated about 20 Kms from uluberia, this resort is a perfect family and friends getaway near Kolkata. The resort is a collection of 4-5 seperate resorts. There is a swimming pool in the centre as well.
This resort provides rooms, storage coffee, food and play ground for a small cricket and football match.
The infrastructure is well maintained as well.

Located only 62 kms from Kolkata, an hour and half’s drive will take you to this beautiful place. Perfect for weekend getaways for family, the town is famous for the house of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. Service and ambience here are good, and food is good too, although a tad overpriced. There are several picnic spots around the river.

This place is really beautiful. The area is so large that you'll never feel that you are in a crowded place, however big the crowd actually is. The food is simple and delicious. Moreover, it is economical.

Nice place for family picnic, group picnic. Also you can visit Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay's living place, near about 3km from it.

Well, this place is to get relief from your daily work life. It's cool place to visit with family or with colleagues. You can book part of resort and food in advance and can have relaxed feeling throughout the day. Water park is also beautiful here, you can enjoy the water.

Be careful of extra helpful staffs. If you are unconscious at times specifically during the payment, you can actually end up paying min 2 times more than your bill. Always go and pay at the office desk and not in room or ground area staffs.

Its a wonderful hotel to stay for day or 2.not very far from busy city and its a cozy place to pass time.

It is a large resort in the village of deulti. It is nearby the residence of famous author Sarat Chandra and the river of roop Narayan. It has 40 rooms, huge open fields and a large swimming pool. The rooms are big and clean. AC is available in each of the room. Service for the rooms are good. All amenities are provided when requested. The food had to be ordered from their caterer only. But the quality of the food is good.

This place is a couple of hours drive from Kolkata. Situated amidst paddy fields, this place offers a decent option for a weekend getaway far away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
Good for office parties and picnics.

Very compatible for moddle class and lower middle class people who want to visit House of Sarat Chandra.

A resort in the district of Howrah on the bank of Rupnarayan river. Had a number of small picnic spots.
It is very near to the house of late bengali novelist Sarat chandra Chattopadhyay.

Good place for party in country side. Foods are traditional bengali food with lots of fish preparation which are fresh. Lots of place for outdoor fun zone. Rooms are mediocre needs renovation. Overall for party and fun resort is good.

Its good resort. Well maintain by authority. Food quality was very good but caterar team need to be imprisonment.

Fantastic high quality resort. Plenty of open space all around. Very convenient for holding get togethers, events like annual meets etc. For kids there are plenty of play things. Very well maintained, good food, decent parking space and well appointed rooms. Above all customer friendly service and affordable. Great for weekend getaways, near to Kolkata for smooth connectivity.

Only about two hours drive from Kolkata. Provides food on arrival for day tourists, good flower and also kitchen garden, very neat and clean environment, arrangements for rides for your kids.

Facilities:
1. Ground full of grass. Which is great. They have 10 such ground
2. For 50+ group, separate ground is provided with two attached non ac double bedded rooms
3. Booking comes with food. Basically they charge based on head count and choosen menu. 425/- to 650/- per head. No extra charge for whole facilities.
4. Swimming pool is great. 50/- per head.
5. Drinking allowed only within room.
