Can add few more activities to keep guests more engaged. The garden area can be more well lit and also playing some music in evening will be a great step to popularity.

A good week-end /day-out destination on the bank of the river Hoogly for Kolkata people. There is a small swimming pool for guests, against payment of 100/- per person. Accompanying kids can enjoy some rides.
Rooms and toilets are clean. Car parking is available. Food is good.

Very nice. Well maintained. Food is too good and tasty. Stuffs are very cooperative. Over all we spent a very enjoyable day out at Nodi Teerae

It is a wonderful property and an excellent getaway for a day or two. Enjoyed the riverfront sitting area and lawn, the nice swimming pool and well appointed river view rooms. It is a kid friendly property with co-operative staff providing good service).

The road from Joka is in a sorry state though (takes over an hour to cover the 25 odd kms by car) and travel by public transport may be a bit challenging.

Would strongly recommend it for quiet getaways not so far from the city. Also is a good day outing option for picnic lovers.

Nodi Teerae is a nice place to stay in the bank of river. Everything about the place is very nice. But only con here is the over priced food. 1 tawa roti cost is Rs. 20, Tea is Rs. 45, Alu posto plate is Rs. 190. It's too high and very overpriced compare to some high-end restuarants in Kolkata. The owner of the property should think about it and make the food prices reasonable.

Very nice location, right on the bank of river Hoogli. Nicely located rooms, lavish lawns and ample car park within the gated resort.

Terrible experience. The behavior of the staff is very bad. And the owner doesn't have minimum qualifications to run a resort. Rude. He doesn't even speak to his boarders. Food quality is worse than street line hotels. Rotten fish was given to us. No one cares with half the food. Had to search. The snacks were also all raw, served without deep frying. The food quality and staff behavior is horrible. I will not ask anyone to go. Food prices were also unusual.

Location is wonderful. Excellent for day out can be extended for 1 night stay. Scary part is the last 4 kms road. Its too narrow. 2 cars cannot cross. Rest is divine

Very beautiful place beside Hooghly river. Well maintained property, rooms good, excellent food and service. Day package very attractive. Approach roads very narrow and congested.

Nice place to visit during the monsoon or the winters. It will be very humid during the summer.

The place is picturesque. But the rooms have problems. ACs do not work properly, electric kettle do not work properly, some light switches have lose connections, etc. I took 2 rooms and also came across another guest who faced some of these issues. The support staff is a bit laid back. Food was good but quantity could have been more. I ordered nonspicy food for my 2 year old, but my request was not adhered well.

The resort staff are ill mannered and they need to be more customer oriented. I arrived with my wife but they were very rude and refused room despite it being available.

-Cottage are top notch.
-Service, staff was good, but the amount we paid for the cottage…was not as well as we paid.
Location - The resort's decoration and decorum was perfect, but…the road through which we went was risky.

At the end of the day, we enjoyed.

A weekend gateway, situated on the bank of river bhagirathi, rooms are nice, the lawn and garden is also good, sunset view is great, food taste great and the portion is really great, staff can be better

Horrible behaviour of the owner! He shouldn't be part of hospitality business, was acting like one political uneducated goon. Good property for a short excursion, but the pool maintenance sucks! Staffs don't even bother and don't expect slightest hospitality from the entire crew. They will be rude to you but in a subtle way. Mind you food prices are on the higher side but food quality is not bad. Road to the property is super narrow for a good car. Overall bad experience.

The room quality and ambience was good, the food quality was bad and the staff and owner's behaviour was ugly.
The complimentary breakfast option was either 4small slices of bread and an egg. Or 4 puris and a sweet. If you had puris egg will not be given and no repeat of the small rosogolla if you had puris. For a room priced at 3100-3700! Ridiculous!

They did not hesitate to ask for a favour for releasing one of the rooms we had, one hour before check out time and also did not hesitate to speak very rudely when we were waiting in the lawn after checking out the rooms on time while waiting for our cars to arrive.

Canteen has a limited stuffs to choose from, their staffs will deny most of the food printed from the menu.
Mind you food prices are on the higher side.
However the food quality of whatever they provide is commendable.

Location was nice. And a nice garden/ sit out. These are the sole good things.
But the driveway was horribly congested. Should think twice before going to this place. Single road, becomes completely congested once a vehicle comes from opposite direction.
Food was substandard. Expected much better.
Staff behaviour very bad especially trying to throw out guests if check out time was over.
Swimming pool was dry
No provision of boat ride noted as mentioned in boat ride.

Just ONE word AVOID!

This is an aweful and overpriced place. We visited as a group of 23 for a picnic on 25th Dec. First of all the approach road is too narrow and is a no brainer to travel in case if you have hired a traveller. Same for cars too.
Now coming to the hotel, they overcrowd the place, have no respect for their visitors. The lady might have worked hard to put in various flowers, but you need to be prepared how to save those, when you are overcrowding a small place. She behaves very rudely with kids or their parents, since the kid plucked one. Either you put a “do not touch” or you gaurd it properly. Also, when she was requested to clean the washroom, she refused stating lunch hours and she has no idea when it can be done, all the time talking in a reluctant manner. Now coming to the food. The food is literally rubbish for what you pay for. Mutton is hard & oily. Fish is bland. Breakfast is bland.

All in all this is a rubbish place. If you want to waste your hard earned money and time, visit. Else AVOID!

Ambience & staff are really helpful and always at your service. Mrs Paramita Sen is cordial. Rooms are spacious & clean with excellent service including tooth brush, paste, coffee maker with sachets. Only problem is with free breakfast which has very limited options and not buffet!

The behaviour of the owner and other staffs is rude and unprofessional, their complimentary breakfast (either 4 slices of very small sized bread with little butter and an egg/ or 4 puris with sabji and only one rosogolla of very small size) is not matched with high priced room rent.

Good place for weekend gateway. But food is not upto the mark. Need to improve the quality and number of items available.

Nice resort. Just at the bank of Hooghly/Ganges. Rooms are ok. Good place for one day visit. One can see Cargo ships passing in the river. Swimming pool is small but ok. Complementary breakfast fast has only two options, bread/ Luchi. Car parking available inside the resort. Approaching road is narrow and congested.

শহরের রোজকার ধুলো, ধোয়াময় ভরা হাওয়ায় দমবন্ধ হওয়ার উপক্রম হওয়ায় আর সময় কম থেকে উইকেন্ড টা কাছাকাছি কোথাও নিরিবিলিতে টাটকা হাওয়ায় নিঃস্বাস নিয়ে কাটাতে চেয়েছিলাম। তাই নদীতিরে আসা।

কিন্তু ভীষণ ভাবেই আশাহত হলাম। কারণ সকালে nodi দেখতে দেখতে সময় কেটে গেলেও সন্ধ্যে বেলা টা ভীষণ বোরিং। লাইট ভীষণ কম পুরো রিসোর্টে। প্রায় অন্ধকার।
বৃস্টি হলে নদীর ধরে বসার জন্যে কোনো বসার জায়গা নেই। ইচ্ছা থাকলেও বাধ্য হয়ে ঘরেছিলে আসতে হবে।
কোনো সিকুরিটি পারসন নেই রাতে শুধু মাত্র একজন কর্মী থাকেন পুরো রিসোর্টে।

খাবার এর স্বাদ মোটামুটি।

Good location n landscaping, cosy atmosphere, cordial staff behaviour but food not at par as expected n room service needs to be improved.

This is the worst resort I have ever visited in my whole life. Poor management communication, facilities are horrible, too much expensive compared to the amenities provided, horrible guest hospitality.

Nodi teerae is in the village telari, Bahirkunja within nodakhali ps area. It's beyond the Raypur bus stop of route no 75, towards Burul. An hour from Joka metro. Two hours from Kolkata (Phoolbagan). The resort is bang on the river Hooghly eastern bank in the lap of nature. With three rooms+ two cottages the resort is small but beautifully maintained. Spick and span. Food is homely.
Our stay of two nights was relaxing and enjoyable. Staff are courteous and helpful.
Biswajit, the manager is quietly efficient. A place I'll return to.

A great location right on the bank of the Ganga. A well designed resort with all reasonable amenities and an excellent garden. We spent two comfortable nights in the first floor room, Mandakini, a river view rom. Food was gomely, tasty. The resort staff were locals who were gentle and gave their best to make us at home.
I would love to go again

Extremely disappointed with this resort manager's arrogance and unprofessionalism! Before visiting there on today, I called the manager named BISWAJIT and asked about the day outing plan.as confirmed by him over phone, we can visit the place and have lunch and if we take snacks then they will allow us to access the pool with extra charge of 100 rupees each person. They event sent the menu to preorder the same. Once reached and the lunch was taken, the manager arrogantly denied us to use the pool stating there is no such policy exist for walking guest to stay there more than 1 hour after lunch and even if we asked why did he give confirmation he said he can only arrange snacks if requested! Like seriously - to have tea and fries over there we drove more than 4 hours and even though he confirmed over the phone! However concern was raised to the owner and she allowed us to use the pool for 1 hour! The next most hilarious incident was seeing utter arrogancy of one lady who had loads of objection on my swim outfit which was made of 100% spandex but since that was only a top and tights but not of length till hip cover only. I asked her even to check my cloth material by herself and then decide, she denied to do so and stated that she knows everything about swim wear and there is only one type of swim wear exist i even use the same swim wear in almost all five star resorts and hotels in kolkata and outside incl Marriot, Westin, waterparks and they had no objection Having said this, here is my earnest request to the owner to train her employees on how to behave with guest and not to give FALSE COMMITMENT for further harassment! And to the visitor, please do not visit this place only based on the verbal communication with the manager as there is no such reliability of there words spoken to guest!

Beautiful place to unwind. On the bank of river Ganges. Reasonable tariff. Very helpful staff. Good homely food. The owners take personal care which makes guests very comfortable. WiFi available.
Only problem is the approach road which is narrow and conjested.
Overall, very nice experience!

River side resort by Ganga, Nodi Teerae boasts of landscaped greenery and indomitable view of the serene Ganges. I would commence from the inception, Noditeerae is around 50KMs from the heart of Kolkata and the last 4-5 kms of road leading to the resort is pretty treacherous and I would suggest an expert driver. Post entering the property though, you would forget the trifle encountered due to road condition. The paramount outstanding point is the panoramic view of the wide Ganges with ships and fisherman boats passing by. While tourists can stay overnight in the cottages, we chose a day trip in accordance to a day package, which included breakfast, lunch and snacks. Initially we thought that the cool breeze of Ganga would be so soothing that we can just sit outside and spend the day, however not undermining the soothing effect of Ganga at all, the infamous Kolkata heat subdued the Ganga effect. Hence we took an AC room (just from 1100 AM to 530 in the evening, they have various options with a meagre cost difference) and enjoyed the view from the room balcony (well that is another plus that all the rooms had unobstructed view of Ganga). The food was good and abundant (luchi torkari in breakfast, a complete 5 course meal in lunch with rice, 2 veg items, fish and chicken/mutton and sweet assortments at the end, snacks comprised of chicken pakora and tea). Well we were not complete spoilsports and also to quench the thirst of camera lenses, we ventured outside around 4 PM and roamed around the resort filled with landscaped greenery and sat by the pool (yes it has a small pool too) or Ganges. The ships sailing at a far distance and the fisherman boats (one of the inquisitive members of our group asked every boat whether it could catch any fish that day) were icing on the cake. Overall a combination of optimized experience of luxury coupled with indulgence of experience of pure nature.
PS: the dining hall where all the meals were served should have AC or at least more powerful fans otherwise it gets pretty difficult to digest the delectable food.
