They need to learn how to speak to the guests. The person in the reception with bit long hair gossiping with colleuge but not responding properly guest quire.

The hotel rooms are pretty good, the staff is well behaved, but the food is costly indeed, that's a genuine problem because they don't allow outside food, but the rest are all good.

I offenly come this hotel for official purpose, every staff and managers brheviour is remarkable. Ans I am satisfied on their behavior

Extremely poor. Staff behaviour is rude and extremely unprofessional, zero sense of hospitality. They make you feel like as if you are staying here under their favour. Their pace of work is extremely slow but have a big mouth and will even have a quarrel with you to prove themselve right. Rooms are not that clean, stained sheets and yellowish lights makes the rooms real spooky

Pros: Hygeine, Location, Food taste, Fast service, staff behaviour
Cons: 1) No windows in room. 2) You can only watch news and National in TV. 3) No place to hang wet clothes

Great hotel at an affordable price range. Rooms are nice & clean, staff behaviour is really good. Convenient to shops & all mode of transportation. Food is decent. Overall good place to stay with family in budget.

Good hotel for safety purposes,
Room is decent according to price but make sure you booked by any app like goibibo or others.
They have good parking area, with great security, stuff behaviour is great.
Food quality also good but price little higher side.

Road is narrowed as per required. Footpath captured. No conference room in the hotel. Staff's are helpful.

I have been visiting North Star for last 15 years and the quality of food remains fantastic. The ambience has also improved alot

I am out of Kol/India for a long time … all of a suddenone day as am back in Kol, i made my mind to grab a drink at our so called NS (north star) to brush up my childhood memories … and Bang on it … i was so surprised to see the New look… aha … liked it to the fullest … hinestly speaking.whenever am in kol … just to grab some drinks alone, i used to avoid NS because of the food as only few choices were there with pale taste and the restrooms (was horrifying). — but this time out of all events.i was surprised to see the vast change which we friends always used to urge for … Monojit da suggested some New items in the menu … as a chef was in the house … ahhh trust me the latest items

I was stunned to learn that the staff at the BAR can't play the music channel on their TV as they are not allowed to do so from the management. Utterly ridiculous.

Very poor service, they serve by seeing faces, we waited for around 1 hr for a peg of rum.
Food quality is so and so

Room wasn't ready for immediate move in even though I made online booking a month ago.

Vary nice invirnment and cooperative staffs. Price of food and drink is resnable. Food is good.

It's Preferable to take ac rooms, and one should bargain to get deep discount, else the staff can fool you.
The non ac rooms are risky to take as the ceiling fans are extremely low, anyone having a height of 5.6" And above can encounter accident if they raise hand.

Rest all the services were good.

The Hotel is in a prime location. The staffs are very helpful and friendly in nature. Good food.

Tried the bar only.
Waiters are polite and well-mannered, price is reasonable, place is clean and tidy and food's nice also. Its in my locality, so i go there often.
However, one BAD thing is, they dont give you drinking water, and force you to buy mineral waters, even if you dont drink and order food only.
I hope it catches the attention of the concerned managing body and they take some action. Thats something i really hated about this place, u cant continue a good business without honesty & integrity, thats why 3 stars

Visited the bar. Very casual ambience with very less staff. Very much chaotic and noisy. Service is average soo as food. Good place to hangout with friends sometimes, not at all frequently.

Add more lights in rooms, service is good, so is the food but improve amenities, staffs are cordial.

It's just an OK place to have a couple of drinks at a reasonable price. Not suitable for a family visit.

A good bar for a corporate party. Average quality of drinks available. Food is good and adequate for 30 heads. However, the washroom needs to be kept in mind. Its very small compared to the bar accommodation.

In this locality (Private Road, Chatakol) best hotel to stay.on the road and easily accessible.
