The breakfast served was great with a lot of variety. Since we were there during the peak hours, it got really crowded. However, we were made at home by Keya. She not just helped us find a lovely table, she assisted us all through. She has this 'happy to help' attitude which made our experience fabulous. Would surely love to be there again soon.

For purpose of a business trip me and my team went to Kolkata. We stay in Novotel hotel it is a huge hotel. It's room is very luxurious and fantastic. I love the food of this hotel. Their servicing is also very luxurious. It was a very high value experience we have.

I've loved all the beautiful interns and humble staff that works day and night to make your stay as comfortable as possible!:)

Again, all these kids (interns) are really turning into great professionals thanks wonder kiddos!

Took my family for a dinner buffet at The Square. Have been here many times before. Nice buffet spread. Minimalist but aesthetically appealing Christmas decor drenched in soft lounge music. Overall, cherished the evening.

Novotel Kolkata doesn't live up to the Novotel Standard of Hospitality or Service right from the moment you enter the property. Room Service was pathetic and a headache to order anything. We had to call 4 times and wait 73 mins to get the cutlery. Another issue was the check in procedure where the Guest Relationship Manager gave us a cold treatment. And the overall experience from the Front Desk and Security was a disaster.
P. S: The toiletries provided were way past the expiry date and only one glass and pair of slippers were provided instead of two. So avoid the hype of the room view which was pretty depressing tbh and only book this property if you don't have any other option under the sun. And customers don't pay to hear sorry from you, Novotel Kolkata.

It is a pocket friendly place with a great ambiance and services for travelers. Had a wonderful experience and relaxing stay here. During this pandemic also they have maintained the cleanliness and following all the necessary protocols. Food here is really great loved the bar and cocktails. Looking forward to my next visit.

I love staying at Novotel. Rooms are pretty good sized and clean. The staff is very friendly and always looking for ways to make your stay awesome. Day 1. Booked two rooms. Got 1 after an hour's wait at 3: 30 pm (check-in time is supposed to be 2 pm). And they are explaining their problem as if I paid them a hefty sum to listen to their sob stories, instead of getting a room to stay in as contracted. They have no idea when they can give me the 2nd room. In short, the staff have no control over anything - extremely poor management. All employees of the hotel are trying to avoid eye contact for some reason. The lobby epitomizes chaos - things are everywhere, very noisy, people are generally loitering around. Nobody here seems to be heard of Covid19 - zero effort to manage people. I was asked to wait for my rooms - but there are just four chairs in the lobby for the entire waiting population. A strange 5 star hotel indeed.
The 1 room we have got is strictly average. Cell coverage in the room is pretty bad.

Enjoyed my stay there a lot. Stayed there from 30th Nov. The food was good. The chef the service people were really helpful. The reception people were too good and gave us real good hospitality. Would like to mention some of the names starting with Philomina from lobby, ayan, subhojeet, Ravi, Prashant, Lavita and others as well

Came for 25th Dec, 21 Gala Lunch Buffet, the food was exquisite and service was excellent especially Sandip one of the co-ordinator helped us to select finest dishes.
The last time experience was also awesome with live music, food and the ambience.

I was really disappointed with the services.my package was 8k for 1 day (with dimner n stay).
bt afr dinner they tried charging me for food.took them 15 mins to check there records tht it was prepaid at the tym of checkin.haressment.contantly they were trying to increase my bill amount in any possible way.ultimately at the time of check out they took rs. 700 extra for wifi FOR 1 DAY USAGE saying it was high speed connection.will never ever go there.

Not impressed! No one wants to help you with your luggage. The checkin process is good and staff are cordial. The superior room was small and the bathrooms were dated. I think the buffet dinner was satisfactory. Once more, the staff are great but if this hotel is charging to be premium, they need to up their game. Westin is a much better choice!

The staff are humble, polite, and very helpful. The rooms are well done and perfect if you are traveling alone. The location is convenient, very close to the airport. However, if one needs to visit Old Calcutta, this could be a challenge. But then you have Ola, Uber, and other cab services.

Came for breakfast in the square restaurant. Was really happy with the excellent service by team square. Sanjay and Sriparna hasbeen excellent in the floor with there serving skills. Superb experience.

I have been here earlier also, and as a corporate traveller I know the challanges everyone is facing due to lack of manpower in every corporate houses. But what was annoying is the way few persons behaved in the restaurant as this tall gentleman was politely asking everyone to wear the mask while entering but they were very rude with that person, hotel should not entertain certain people in the restaurant. Very well behaved staff in the restaurant.

Hospitality and service is excellent.
Manager, mr. Pritam in the restaurant is very helpful and looks into our needs deeply. The services of bar man mr. Suresh and mr. Gautam is worth mentioning for their excellent service.

As we stayed for two days here, so we thought of sharing few observations.
1. Breakfast options were way better than lunch and dinner.
2. Lifts are slow but clean.
3. Staffs at dinner looks tired, u can make out from their body language.
4. When you are asking for water in room, order extra bottles or u have to wait.
5. Brunch food is super, grills are the best.
6. Look for this person Pritam, very polite and humble, he made our 15th anniversary special and trust me this was our best experience.

Rooms are of good size, breakfast was nice. Location wise it is bit close to the airport. Check in experience was good. Could have better service at the breakfast.

Came for Sunday dinner, the architecture and interiors are awesome.it was my first experience at Novtel kolkata.went for buffet where almost 100 people were having their food and staffs were running to fill the food vessels.what i felt nice is this gentleman Pritam offered me and my wife fresh juice and said that he willget the food on table.we knew it's a better way of saying food will take time.other than this quality of food and service is good.

It is very near to my home and I come here often for dinner. Really love the food here. The steak is quite good here. Also love their food in the pan Asian restaurant.

Am a regular at JW Marriott kolkata and today first time I came here for buffet.
The staffs are extremely polite and well behaved with a special mention for Suman Ghosh who is extremely good with guests but I would like to say that the taste of the food items need to be improved a lot as this city has Marriott already and regular guests of Marriott won't like a Doi Mach to taste like very sour due to extra curd while preparing.
But as novotel is new, has ample of chances to improve. Am giving five star for staff behavior, decor but not for food.

One of the best 5star buffet I had. Each and every individual menu was lip smacking. All the recipes were well cooked and the taste was heaven. Lots of varieties and lots of options were there in the buffet menu. The dessert were outstanding. Great food ND service keep it up guys

Great customer service. I have been few days in these hotel I am very pleased with the facilities and the customer service. In particular with Suman that has been very helpful and formative by sharing his knowledge of the local traditions.
