Old Sikkim House

This is Little Sikkim in Kolkata.
A very fine place in the heart of Kolkata to have pure Sikkimese cuisine & rooms for overnight stay. The quality & quantity of the food is quite up to the mark. The service is very commendable too.

People can prepare ILP or PAP permit for Sikkim from here too.

I tried veg here. The menu was totally unknown to me. However the waiter was kind enough to explain the items and ultimately the momos ordered were best I ever had.

Foor quality is too good and price also reasonable. Stuff's behaviour is very polite and well behaved.

This place is very nicely located at heart of Middleton street with two very good thai and nepali cuisine restaurants at its belly

Actually I visited Sikkim tourism office to know about travel card and how can I get it online.

Old sikkim house is restaurant in park street. It's near the maidan metro station. We tried Chinese food there and the food was good. Taste and quantity is good also. And price is also reasonable. We took mix Chowmein and chilli chicken there. Quantity and quality is fine. Other items like momos and mixed rice is also available there.

An economical place to stay. Restaurant available in the hotel. Would go well with people from the hills. Maintenance needed.

Ok ok place.service is too poor.and the behavior of the staffs are very rude and annoying.bt the food was delicious.and the best part is their authentic Chinese dishes which are cheap.

The two stars are just because of the restaurant. Else it didn't even deserve a star. The rooms were pathetic. They didn't even provide us with soap, towels and other necessary items. I dont suggest others to hault here.

They dont even provide towels and all. Nothing was provided to us for 3 hours even after saying in reception 10 times.
They dont have towels to provide their guests.

Desperately needs renovation or if not I am happy to run it on lease.provided the lease amount is reasonable

The best place in town for momo lovers.
They serve the perfect momos with the best recipe of chutney.
It is located in 1st floor of old sikkim house.

The place is cozy and the price is also affordable as the cost for two may be 500-600.

Absolutely amazing food. And a good air conditioning system if you are going in the summer. The staff is super friendly as well.

One of the best momos served at The Blue Poppy restaurant specially their pork momo at Old Sikkim House. Its too good. However, the restaurant is a bit shabby.
