Oudh 1590

I went to experience some great food but it made me disappointed. Very bad food and the quantity is so less than other restaurant's. I ordered Mutton Galouti Kebab (This is the worst kebab I've ever eat) Kolkata Style Mutton Ghost Biriyani and Mutton Rogan Josh. In terms of quality is also not up to the mark. And the service guys are always in hurry. I don't know what's wrong with them. The atmosphere is quite good with deem light. Overall very bad experience.

There are business everywhere.they can't 1 potato inside, we have to pay extraa now a days for aloo. No need, we ll eat from another place, less price. It's like business, they don't provide extraa special tasty aloo, all r same.we can make it home.they taking 450 for one biryani and can't provide small price aloo

We have tried chicken galouti kebab, chicken zafrani kebab, mutton biriyani and Shahi chicken, shahi tukra in dessert.mutton biriyani was taste awesome and mutton was cooked well but chicken galouti kebab disappointed me very much, it was not so tasty.it's like normal street side kebab.and all the items overpriced in compare to quantity.ambience was calm and cool, neat and clean.

20 rs er water bottle 50rs and Handi biriyani te no alu and kono swad nei.xtra alu nile naki 20rs xtra.this is so much bad experience for us.

I went there with my friends to have lunch. We had tandoori roti with butter chicken and chicken rezala. We also had azadi handi biriyani and kebabs. The atmosphere is perfect and customer service is great. Also you have to wait a bit if it is crowded inside.

Price was kinda expensive but food taste n quality was so gd. Enjoyed their kababs and kolkata murgh biryani combo.

Good one. Food quality and quantity was enough. Ambience was really unique. In background ghazal was been played to match with the atmosphere. Staffs were well behaved. One drawback I found is that the place was a bit congested. Other than this good experience.

Food and service Both has become pathetic. They served cold galauti kebab at first. When we objected they changed and served burned one. Very much disappointed with the raan biriyani. It has list its flavour

Great food, ambience and music is lovely. Staff were good, although they prevented two people from sitting in adjacent seats because of their covid norms. It was a bit perturbing and felt like a violation of privacy. Otherwise, great place for dining out with your family.

Food is awesome, no doubt about it! But hospitality wise, they have really gone down.came to kolkata after long three yrs, felt revisiting this place.but was really apalled.they didnot allow to relax and dine.just stuff u as fast as possible, and chuck u off after pushing u to sign off.my order time to coming out of the restaurant was 25mins.its now upon people who go there to decide, it is a better take away place.avoid if u want to enjoy ambience and have fine dine in experience.

Authentic Biryani! Raan Biryani is its speciality here. Everyone should try. Variety of Kababs and even Galauti kabab (Lucknow's favourite) is also available here. Rajasthani music and the restaurant's ambience is like that will makes you feel you are sitting somewhere in Rajgharana and you are having Royal Food. Prices are average.not will pinch your pocket much. Timings are a bit odd but you should confirm/ book your slot first before reaching there so you don't have to wait in long queue.

Well if you want to taste the real biryani you can blindly visit to this place.

Amazing. Royal decor, with unique and delicious dishes. We had lucknowie parantha with galowti kabab, gosht yakhni handi biryani, phirni and kulfi faluda.

Spectacular ambience with tasty mughlai dishes. If this is your choice then it's the place you should visit.

Visited recently, ambience and service is praiseworthy. But food tastewise was not that exceptional. Preparation could be better, little disappointed. If a mutton dish does not taste like one, there's a reason.

We are going to taste the mughlai dishes here. But experience not so good.
Price was too much high. Biriyani quality is not as good.
2nd the chicken item was not prepared properly. Taste horrible. Spices are not properly marinated in chicken.
3rd the kabab is good no issues.
4th they charged one ltr kinly water @40/- but price is printed 20/- on. Why they are charged 40 instead of 20. Due to hurry am not asking for the same. If anyone have any ans please comment.

A nice place that serves awadhi cuisine, staffs are well behaved, the food was also good we had ordered chicken tengri kabab, mutton ran biriyani, and phirni which tasted good, quantity was fine and price worthy but the fresh lime soda was really bland, the great thing is we didn't had to wait at all for the food. Overall a nice experience.

So much disgusted & surprised I am, being a biriyani lover and specifically a huuge fan of the "Rann" biriyani of Oudh 1590. The first time I tasted, at the Desapriya park outlet and since then no other biriyani "suits" me. Today was a special occasion at my place (Maa's birthday) and we did spend a fair amount in ordering our usual Rann biriyani. We usually order from the naktala outlet, however we were lucky to get the option from Desapriya park today. We were all excited until the order was delivered and each one of the contents were stale.

I placed a complaint at the swiggy portal and the bday girl herself had a word with the manager of the outlet.

As I am a regular of Oudh, I would love to say a few words of advice to the team:

It would be better if the team switches back to the earthenwares (pots). They are currently delivering in plastic containers which may have contributed to the staleness. Such incident is harmful for the reputation, and annoying and disappointing at the same time, for a fan like me, specially at the dinner table on my mother's birthday.

I hope the authorities will take charge and will try to keep up with their reputation and quality.

Food is good. We choose to have amm khass, awadhi sugandhi mahi, murgh bhuna, tandoori and roomali roti. The fish item was marvelous. Bread was expected to be more softer and the bhuna was little spicy for us. Special thanks to their hygiene maintaining protocols and ambience.

My brother and relatives recommended Oudh for it's fine dine and they took us to this place yesterday. However the experience was awful.
1. Biryani was salted
2. Service was not at par - most of dishes we wanted weren't available, and the waiters were in a hurry
3. Shikanji was not value for money nor was falooda

The ambience was very beautiful. The staffs were very helpful and the behaviour was cordial. The foods were great. One should try Galawati Kabab and Rann Biriyani here.

This is a nice restaurant with good mughal ambience and very good behaving staffs. The food here is little costly but the quality and quantity of the food is as per the cost.

You can enjoy a very good meal here, its not on the main road but in an alley, there is also parking available in front of the restaurant. I had ordered Biriyani here and it is really nice, after long time I had a biriyani this good.

I visit at 15th august, 21,7.30 closed time I reached 7.30 not theye don't have any idea how much travel during this situation. No kill my desire eating at Oudh 1590.

Rude behaviour of staff, they r too much unprofessional, don't know how to treat a guest in a restaurant, food quality too bad, according to their price, just this restaurant is going on according there show off, n decoration, from that's side only they r opening many branches into the cities.the resturent supervisor n staff r very rude, n tired to pressure us there ready precooked menu, n constant ovserving us during our food time, that's why we can't enjoy our food properly, waiting for tips, there behavior is too much annoying.total waistage of money.we waited a lot of time outside of the resturent n there was a smoking zone with there resturent which was too much annoying.i recommen to rather go lake mall for enjoy your precious time.

The old test has deteoriated a lot. We had some great meals before but last time experience was not very pleasant.

Excellent Experience both for Dine-in, Ambiance. Food very much authentic and lovely like pure devine. We taste the Awadhi Biryani, Zafrani Kebab & Firni all are very good. Hope we are come back again

Staff is veryyyy nice and sweet. They allow cake cutting as well. Loved the staff. Interior is good. Ambience is nice. Food is tasty and at reasonable rate. But they have only one washroom next to kitchen. Only one person at a time can use it and is common for men and women.

Food is good but the staff behaviour is horrible. They are not helpful at all. They will not take reservations and you might have to wait for long hours, sometimes even miss your turn. You are not made to feel welcome. I tried to order sikandari raan one day beforehand and they were still unable to prepare it although it only has a 12 hr pre-order time. They also refused to reserve a table inside the restaurant even on this type of special pre-order. So it seemed that even though the food would be prepared at a specified time, you might not be able to have it due to a long queue or lack of table, which would depreciate the quality of food. Also i have been going to this restaurant for a number of years and I feel both the food quality and the service is depreciating. Perhaps they are having so many customers that they do not care to provide the care to individual customers anymore. Better service is expected from this restaurant.

The atmosphere is the best like Mughliyana era. Must try Raan Biryani and Tandoori Chicken, price is lil bit higher sight, we pay Rs: - 3500/- for 5 person's.

Firstly! 5 stars for the ambience alone. The mughlai music, smell, decor was captivating. The overall appearance, from the time the restaurant is first visible until you digest the food, it is the most memorable experience. I went there with my parents and family friends. So there were people of age groups from 11 to 51, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed at least some part of the entire experience. The handi biryani was served steaming in an earthen pot and my father loved it. I personally loved the kebabs, while my mother adored the raita. Quality food is served from a delectable platter. One trip to Oudh is a lavish yet affordable mughlai lunching or dining feast, one that's not to be missed!

Love that place. They are special in galoti kabab & paratha and biriyani. I love that dishes. You can get all kind of mughal dishes there.
Just go and enjoy.

Nice ambience, excellent food quality cordial staffs.
But compared to previous visit, food quality has detoriorated post lockdown.nof everything was available on menu.there was no system for online table book.

Infrastructure is good. Looks fabulous from outside and inside. Sufficient space available. Lights, designs, and ambience of the restaurant area outside or inside is tremendous. Foods are tasty. Tried several dishes. Lots of varities of Kababs and Biryanis available here. There are other meat, prawn and fish dishes also. The prices are relatively high but reasonable. I feel, that's more because of their quantity of food, which is lot. The behavior of the staffs inside are polite as well. Overall, liked the experience.

Great experience indeed. Good food and amazing ambiance. The theme of the restaurant will surely take you to the streets of oudh. And you must try their Galouti kebab.

Excellent sanitisation process. A warm welcome and add to that the exquisite ambience that Oudh creates with all the backdrops and utensils used from the awadhi period and also adding to that the background ghazal that plays in a loop created a beautiful ambience all round and the food was also great which makes for a 5 star rating all round
