Very Bad Experience the hotel staff is very irresponsible Mai subah me room liya aur 7 pm ratt ko pahucha 8 pm Me 12 ghante ka time apne room ko clean Karne ke liye phir bhi jab Mai apne room me pahucha to halat kuch aisa tha Jo upar AP dekh skte hai tasvir me. #indian

A terrible mistake.a mistake where I end up paying! A black mark in hospitality industry.
Receptionist needs to behave and respond well. No proper room service.

Staffs are good, well dressed, clean and silent atmosphere, walking distance to Howrah railway station.

I paid Rs 1600 for just a few hours of stay at the hotel for 3 guys. The rooms were very very small and bathroom was also very small amd smelling badly. Staffs kept on asking for money everytime they come to our room. They hired us a cab which cost us Rs 100 for just 1 km to howrah station. So the only benefit of the room i.e. Being near to howrah station went away.

The hotel doesn't provide seperate bed in case you are booking for 3 people.
Also, please mind. The hotel doesn't provide blankets are dirty. We asked for same sort of blanket for single bed as provided for double bed, they clearly denied and said "it is like that, do whatever you want".

I would not suggest anyone as the rooms are very dirty and the bathroom condition will make you vomit as its too dirty and smells very bad. Also the water from the tap is also coming very slowly. Also they won't give you towels in the room and also the drinking water is not available. The price for the hotel is Rs 1700 now its your decision to chose this place.

This hotel has no Tie up with Oyo. Please avoid this hotel. I have faced a lot of difficulties so as my co guests. Please avoid booking through Oyo.

WiFi too bad. (dated between 24-25 april 2019), Room is average at this price. Good Room service, greaser is not working properly. Need to upgarde facility.
I'm asking for wifi but reception says talk to room service n room service says talk to reception.

The hotel is situated at an inaccessible area, the location looks dingy and sketchy. We were 3 women and didn't feel safe at the area. The rooms themselves were unclean and there were some tiles missing in the bathroom ceiling which made us uncomfortable to use the facilities. Won't recommend this for women and families.

Pathetic and rude staff. Never get into this hotel. Had a very bad experience with them and Oyo for using their services

Got screwed in this place. Even after having booked and already paid for the room, when I reached the hotel, the manager said that there is no room available and they can't do anything & it's not there problem. Horrible behaviour by staff. In addition I later found out that they already checked in and checked out the room in my name which led to quite a confusion. I was stranded there for 2 hrs. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

Place is good. Not a luxury hotel but still nice rooms, near to howrah station, easy transportation, room service for food, lift facility, online booking available, good for family stay.over all an economical place to stay for your vacation.

Finding a much better hotel in Howrah, was nightmare, but finding Hotel Shivam is not less than miracle. The ambience, staffs and the professional attire made it big. Rooms are decent and the restaurant is an added advantage. Walking distance (10mins) from railway station or bus depot. Will visit again in case of next trip.

They take order from Oyo at lower price and when you reach there, they will tell that they have different rates and you are bound to take on that rate. They even provided me a fake Oyo number to talk and consult matter. The solution that came after discussing the matter with Oyo person was to cancel the booking and rebook at different location. Too bad.

One of worst experience I ever had with oyo booking in this hotel. Poor room service response / food quality. Dirty curtain, filthy foot mat. Poor bathroom/ electrical fittings. Oyo said booking confirm check-in denied at reception. Hotel staff not cooperative.

One of the worst hotel I ever stayed. No aminities provided, no soap in bathroom, very dirty bathroom and curtain, bedsheets and blanket have stains on it, no paints on the walls and roofs, I have attached pictures so that users will understand how bad experience I had here, breakfast options is not available, no room service, they changed the price when we reached here added one thousand after we get off our cab.simply avoid to stay here.

Good in budget category hotel. Room is well decorated. Bathroom is clean. Location is very near to Howrah station. Overall good in this category

Stupid staff kept us waiting for 1 hour. Least bothered about customers who have already paid. Dont pay in advance

Bad experience. They denied check in via oyo. Then did a counter booking with additional cost with no breakfast or toiletries. Breakfast was additional to total bill.

Had an amazing experience here. Visited the place first time and the stay was really good. Close to the Howrah station with easy access to any kind of transportation, be it a bus, auto, taxi or a rickshaw. Polite and friendly staff. Easy on the pocket too.

No any amanity provided by hotel.no hot water in room, No extra towel provided for two persons.very bed experience.no water bottle, no shop.no any other needful facility provide by hotel.hotel staff is responding properly.
