OYO 24781 Rangamati Garden Resort

I'm very disappointed by visiting this resort. The outside of the resort looks very beautiful and enjoyable. Everyone can use their swimming pool and the shadow of the mango trees feels very natural to us. However, this is the only part we loved the most about this resort. Now coming to the indoor parts, rooms are very small in size as normal resorts. Bedsheets were unclean. We booked 4 rooms for 2 days. And each room had some issues with AC water leakage or broken commode in the washroom. Restaurant facilities are also available here with high charges.

Very well resort in prantik. Here every staff is very kind. And the garden is also very well.

A wonderful experience. The hospitality, ambience, everything was perfect. Very pleasant Resort to stay. I hope to visit again.

Value for money. Okay for 1 night. They have a pool though. Nice and quiet with lots of greeneries

The ambience is vry peaceful and staff's behavior is awesome. Food quality is also manageable. Rooms were spacious and clean.

Hotel resort is good. Rooms and service is also good. Swimming pool is very clean. Resort is only 5 mins away from Prantik Station and 3 kms away from Sonajhuri.

Not the best place to stay in Shantiniketan for the amount they charge.

Food Quality is poor and there are time constraints for everything, feels more like hostel than hotel. Only good think is the Pool.

1) The hotel staffs were very polite and very helpful.
2) Rooms were spacious, neat and clean
3) Food was quite tasty though a bit overpriced but quantity was sufficient.
4) Well maintained pool
5) Green surrounding
6) Silent environment
7) Toto (E Rickshaw) stand right outside the hotel.
Cons
1) Tea bags and kettle should have been provided complimentary
2) Toiletries can be improved
3) The hotel is a bit far away from all the major tourist spots. Only nearby spot was Konkalitola.

Best family resort.nice environment. Best of class food and mostly very very good staff behaviour. Highly recommended.

Everything about this hotel is top-notch, the rooms, the food, the services and stuff, everything is great.
The only thing that I would look for an improvement is the swimming pool. I would rate the pool 1 or 2 stars out of 5. The pool water should be filtered regularly in order to keep it clean. One prefers to bath, swim and relax in the pool only when the water is crystal clear and the water must be transparent enough to make the floor of the swimming pool visible.
If the quality of the swimming pool is improved, you would get even better reviews and ratings in future.

I went to there restaurants 3 times. Food quality is very nice. Items are really tasty. Price is little high. Menu card was horrible. It was a thin paper. Only rice items are available in day time.

I won't say much about rooms or pools they are good. But the food at the restaurant. I will visit again just for the food.

Only outside view is good. Rooms not up to the mark. We booked two rooms. In one bathroom there was water clogging problem. In another the taps wouldn't open. Televisions not working at all. Bad smell. Towels very dirty. Overall a disappointing experience

It's a nice experience staying here. The location itself is really tranquil here, premise is full of mango trees & it's really clean. Behaviour of the staffs is really nice. And restaurant offers delicious food.

A good place to stay in santiniketan for family, couples or solo travelers. It has nice specious rooms, a swiming pool, a restaurant and we'll behaved group of stuffs.

The resort is a bit far from the Bolpur station and will take around 15-20 mins to reach by a Toto. However, from prantik station is a nearby place (walkable distance). All the places that people will usually visit is a bit far and reserving a Toto (which will be available almost all the time near the resort's gate) for a daily basis will be cheaper.

This place surve good food at reasonable prices and has plenty of options for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

A perfect place to spend time with family amidst nature. The staff are cordial and customer service is worth applause. Most importantly the food served in the restaurant are awesome and priceworthy. Looking forward to visit them again.

Stayed there for one night. It is located near Prantik station and far away from Shonajhuri Haat and Viswa Bharati. We booked this resort seeing their FACEBOOK POST, the resort seemed big but actually its a small resort with a very reluctantly helpful manager at reception. The rooms were big but Gloomy with a stinky toilet. The toilets were dirty, no Exhaust fans, old bucket and mugs provided with leaking commode. Televisions, Intercoms were not working. No BATHROOM KIT was provided, but the rooms had dirty towels, smelly blankets and bed sheet. Their swimming pool was non-functional (we were FOOLED by their lucrative facebook posts). Even after repeated request to the manager, they could not arrange the swimming pool for us and left us searching for a better resort. The only Good thing about this resort is their Food quality. Although a little high priced but quality and taste of food items are praise worthy. But overall, going by the price of rooms, I would suggest to go for better options nearby.

It was a delightful experience. Staff was polite, food was good. Awesome ambience.a must go for.

Well, the resort is actually a little smaller than you would expect from the pictures. It's a nice one, Room was nice! The bed was really cranky tho, No matter, you Move or sit or do any stuff on the bed, it will crank. But alright! The food was good but freaking expensive and Price wise quantity was really less. If u go as an unmarried couple, They won't trouble u. Stuffs are well behaved too. All in All, A good stay!

Very good place to spend leisure time when one feels tired in mind, will get energy from nature and natural environment.

Staff behaviour is very good and helpful.
But swimming pool is not upto the mark (no baby pool) and small and also clearly visible from out side road.
There is no online payment option at the counter. They don't accept Card/Digital payment.so carefull when you are going to visit (must carry cash).
Also not forget to verify the itemized bill for your fooding.

The place is not in crowded place and people of that resort is very polite. Food is also very tasty.it was nice experience staying there.about room can not say because we did not stay at allotted room. We wanted to stay upstair so they arrenge for us a vacant room. Good experience.if u want any vehicle to travel they will arrange for you.

Beautiful resort situated at the outskirt of bolpur. The staff are very cordial. Rooms are spacious. Highly recommended.

Under rated means below standard. Rooms r below standard as per price. Service is too poor. We stayed for 2 nights. Food is horrible.

Heartiest reception, quality food, cleanliness and hygeinic room, good behaviour of Manager and his team made it excellent. Attractive and beautiful garden seldom maintained by hotels added more satisfaction.

I booked three rooms at this resort through goibibo. It's situated very near to the Prantik railway station. The locality is serene and very peaceful. The resort looks well maintained with lots of outdoor seating options. The resort environment is also very relaxed. The rooms were clean, mattresses and blankets were also clean. The bathrooms were tidy and equipped with geysers. The resort has an attached restaurant that is beautifully decorated. The food is good enough, and not so heavy. The manager was very polite, so were the other staffs. They also arranged an auto rickshaw for us at an affordable rate. The auto driver, Dilip Da was also very polite. The manager also arranged for 'khejurer rosh'. Overall, our experience was good with this resort. Will definitely visit again.

Water and electricity facility is very poor. Television was not working. Room service was not available. Food quality was good but price was quite high.

Pathetic food. A very bad dish named “Rangamati Special”. Its basically chicken pakora with gravy and they charge very high. We have to order another chicken curry which was average. They don’t return the money also.

Beautifully decorated, and very well maintained. Washrooms are well cleaned and hygienic. With swimming pool in addition. Great place.

Good place to chill. Outside the main town. Non interfering and helpful staff.

Only negative point was the bathroom. Fittings were old, there were small cracks. Overall good place

Pool is for show only.not for swimming.it's not clean also.food was horrible.room was so so.not enough light in room and toilet where it was a a.c. Deluxe cottage. Managers behaviour was not good. We called 1st before booking if they can arrange barbeque.over phone they agreed but denied at the time of check-in.and hotel is far away from main city. Overpriced as per location and others facilities.

Location is decent, away from the unwanted crowd. The natural prettiness of the campus and outside is awesome. Only need a better ambiance and more professional approach

It was a great experience. The room was nice and clean. Quiet ambience, great food and friendly staffs. Close to Prantik station, good Toto service available to and from the resort.

Excellent service as usual, staff are very helpful and they are very friendly. Not only veg thali this time I try Chicken Beriyani and it was also good.

Front desk Manager Mr. Amit is lovely. Always in helping attitude. Others are good. Food are little spicy but okay in quality.
