OYO 2872 Fab Guest House

They took booking online but denied checking saying room not available even asked for extra 500. I had to pay more the experience was bad. They are Frauds don't book here.

This hotel is a scam. They refuse online bookings and only book nonrefundable rooms so you can't be issued a refund. Then they send you to their new sister hotel owned by the same owner called "new hotel city of Joy" a few blocks away. There they don't accept online bookings and force you to pay with gpay or cash.

Fraud alert - They took the paid booking and upon reaching at 1: 30pm they said all rooms was full and didn't want to give the room through oyo. The receipt further said if you can leave before 5pm then we can provide room. This is the level of fraud they are doing. Save yourself from the hustle of calling oyo and talking ans asking for refunda.

On 5/5/2003 I was booking one room for 2 adults from 5/5/2023 to 8/5/2023 (3 nights) to this hotel city of joy through Agoda hotel booking app price -1385.76/- Booking ID-951427625.after booking we go to this hotel for check in, and they told us no room booking is there for my name.after that I have show booking ID payment procces all the things.but they are denied to give us a room and told us we have another hotel new city of joy hotel, we can stay there per night 1000.after that I demanded refund my money and they told us we will send email to the authority but dont cancel the booking now.after lots of discussion iam understand that this two hotel run by scammers and owned by the same peoples, because I have read the reviews of this two hotels, not only happenings like this with us, happenings with lots of travelers day by day, it should be stop immediately and issues informed and raised to the police and ro the government also, otherwise the scammers cheated and looted from innocent peoples. I will take necessary action very soon against hotel city of joy. Thanks

They agreed on giving room for early check-in for 5am. Hence booked the same but when reached we were asked to wait until 12pm even when I had a patient with me. Such a worst place and hotel to choose.
I Highly recommend not to choose this hotel.
Please stay away from this hotel if you need safety.

I booked this room online it showed 800 only in Agoda and paid an advance of Rs. 398 online, when I reached there the guy in front desk said the charge is Rs1200 and he didn't get the amount I made online. From that moment onwards I smelled the foul play and the attitude of the guy was so bad. He said I'll get refund from the respective provider which didn't happened yet. Biggest frauds in Kolkata and for god's sake nobody should visit this hotel. The food from them is so costly eventhough it tastes sham. I'm planning to file a complaint in consumer court against them. These people are disgrace to the society.

They are scammers.when you book this hotel online and after you go to hotel they will ask you for more money which is 4 times more the the price

Rooms are worst mainly the receptionists Gopi, gopal will do fraud and ask you to pay extra money if you observe carefully they have same hotel pic with different names i.e hotel soft petal, Meera guest house, srishti, Oyo 2872 all are same and you can find some positive reviews in this section they were given by those receptionists and their friends I'm sharing the pictures of the room if you find it helpful it's fine. Dnt fall in their trap. Don't pay money before you check in. This hotel is spoiling the reputation of Oyo.

Cheaters and Frauds.
I booked the hotel for three days stay from Agoda. The booking was confirmed. But the staff there asked extra money from us and on denying he didn't allow us to stay. These people taking booking at lower rates online and on reaching their hotel they deman extra money from guests.

I had to pay RS. 200 extra. They demanded extra pay otherwise they were not going to provide rooms. I have recordings of it.
