OYO 69062 City Palace

Bad service. Not maintain hygiene. Room, Bathroom was not clean. Ac was not working. After booked online they ask to pay extra money.

Booked room at Kolkata, but at night 11pm Hotel manager told no room in that hotel, till now did not got my money, so many times Mail them to refund money, so please don't haras outsides at night for your business

They are running their hotel by the name of oyo. But they are not allotting room by oyo booking. Even i made this pre-paid. But they denied to give me a room. Very bad experience. Bad behaviour by stuffs

OYO City Palace room service bekar hain, room bekar, Wifi not available, A. C chalta hai but cool nahi hota hai aur Bathroom cleaning nahi karta hain,

Extremely bad experience. When I went there to check in they added extra money in the name of room upgradation charges. Even the behaviour of the staff was very rude. I would suggest no one should book this hotel again or go there.

If you visit the OYO app, you'll find that this hotel is highly rated. That is because out of 25 reviews, 21 have been written by their own staff. Coming to the point, I need to visit Kolkata often with my business partner and I have booked this hotel twice and was deceived for the first time. The app showed us that the payable amount was around 800, but after the hotel staff got our booking ID, the payable amount reflected on our app suddenly rose to 1400. We thought it was some technical problem and they convinced us to book the hotel offline. We had been travelling since a long time and were pretty exhausted. Thus, we did what they asked us to. They charged us 1100 bucks offline. The next time when we visited Kolkata, my friend found this hotel again on the app and booked it. However, I didn't know about that and since OYO was showing City Palace on top of the list when the price was sorted from low to high, I booked it too and applying a coupon, I got it for something around 650 bucks. Neither of us cancelled our booking. After reaching this place, I was the one to give them my booking details firs. Right after receiving it, the payable amount suddenly changed from 650 to 1400. They again started convincing us to get it offline. Meanwhile, my friend said that he had a booking too. His payable amount was something around 800. However, as soon as his booking details were taken, the amount changed to 1400. It is then that we realized that the staff was manipulating everything from backend. This time we decided to leave and look for some other hotel. It is then that they offered us a room at the initial price shown in my friend's app, that is 800. I know that the hotels are recently in conflict with OYO and have not been giving rooms below a certain tariff, but if that is the case, they could at least be clear about it rather than misleading us and practising such fraudulence. They have been deceiving customers like anything.

Do not go at the time of COVID 19. The room was so unhygenic. Bed sheet pillow was untidy. They also charge extra amount than your booking amount from oyo.
