OYO Flagship 13641 Elgin Terrace

Very very bad service. They don't allow online booking. Only cash they need room rent is ₹1500 but no bill/invoice will be providing. My question is they charged ₹1500 with out gst bills how it's possible. Gst department should take legal action. #GST #IncomeTax #Hotel #kolkata #oyo

First its not a hotel its a lodge or guest house so dont expect hotel like comfort or service. Filthy rooms and corridor’s full of cigarettes smoking smell. Uncleaned bedsheets.bathrooms full of pan gutka patches. I have booked the room via goibibo but denied checkin because of price being less than 1500. Dont book anywhere if price showing less than rs 1500. Even if you check-in at late night and price is less than rs 1500 for booking online they will deny check-in.

The manager has denied checkin on the confirmed booking from oyo and charged 350 extra for checkin to the hotel.
The most disgusting part was the owner of the hotel proudly says there are more than 1000 such cases where customers face such instances from hotels and nothing could be done even if these are being escalated. Harrassing the customers like this is not at all acceptable where they also know that these escalations ends up with no resolution and they will do whatever they feel like

Good ambience with good clean room. Only con is lack of restaurant. You will have to arrange it on your own. You can use swiggy, zomato etc

I book it Rs 1097
But when i reached for check in they charged me Rs 1500

Overall experience is good.

Good well behaved stuff.
Room are quite good.

The hotel range starts from Rs1500, If any app is showing you less than that, you will have to pay the extra bucks for check-in.

The receptionist is a cheat, I booked the hotel from Oyo app in rs. 865 and the receptionist asked rs. 1500 for check in. He said they don't follow Oyo 's rate, they have their own rate. Disgusting people. We faced so harassment today.

If you book on line portal I.e. Agoda, you are likely to be denied check in, even though, the Full payment may have been done.
I reached to the Hotel at 09: 00 p.m. And was denied check in even though full payment for two days stay was done. The executive was rude and only after additional payment check in was done.
Further, the room was like cubicle without any window and thus suffocating as the gallery/ common area had cigarette smokes. It has no in house Kitchen.

It's a fraud company and fraud people. If there was minus star i would have given -5 stars. I'll request everyone not to use Oyo

Very bad behaviour they charged more then online booking don't even go there it will cause you loss oyo and other company have to through him out

Nice location.but rooms are small and food not available at hotel
But for shopping ️ hotel is at best place

U will feel congested, suffocated.si small are the rooms and mostly without windows.location is good.but there are other options in the area too within 100 mtrs

My first experience of Oyo was not satisfactory, Need better maintenance of the room, can be much cleaner.

Awesome experience. Very well mentained room with cleanliness. Location is also awesome nearby to Birla Planetarium and Victoria Memorial.

This is not a hotel it was a guest house. Rooms were good but no ventilation was there. Felt suffocatated and headache. So, you can't stay here for longer duration because of lack of proper ventilation.

Somewhat good, could've been better for its price. If you book through oyo, please don't pay online because they don't like it.
Staffs are attentive. Overall good experience.

Expected a nice stay. When reached there, was told construction in the rooms was going on. Won't be provided a room, so either I can switch to their other hotel for a cheaper price or wait in the reception area for 2 hours. Couldn't cancel the oyo booking. I had already done the payment. As a result, they shifted me to other hotel, with a significantly lower price. Didn't refund the difference. Didn't compensate much for the check out time. Only extended it from 11 to 12: 30. Disappointing.

Worst experience ever.unhygienic.there were cockroaches in the room.staffs denied to change the room

Apt place for couples. Check in done in 2 minutes. Nice room, comfy bed, washroom was good. No disturbances what so ever. And allowed zomato delivery which was awesome part. Njoyed the stay. One star is less just because the geyser didn't work properly. Otherwise would have given 5 stars. Nice oyo experience. Location is just near Forum Mall and one floor above Smaaritan Hospital.

The stay was amazing with cozy rooms and good and helpful staff but make sure you carry food with you as there is no in house restaurant.
