OYO Townhouse 209 Habitat New Town

Almost I have paid 1400 for stay.but the service was not good there was nothing in washroom asper OYO standards.service was not good at all.very bad not satisfied at all

I don't have a single word for the staff, I arrived at around 3pm and had a booking for four days also I have paid for the entire booking in advance (around 4700Rs), I have used Goibibo for the booking but when I arrived the staff told all the 28 rooms they have are booked, they even mentioned it that they can see my booking but as all rooms are booked they can't do anything, very nice experience Townhouse, and thats not even the funny part, they told me to call the customer service of oyo and the customer service infront of them tried to scam me, the customer support told me that I am getting half my money back and he is doing another booking for me in another hotel nearby (Premium hotel) which is like 100 meters away, I ran and reached there and gave my phone to yhe manager of that hotel and when he spoke with the customer support they didn't matched the terms, the manager told that the rate is 1200 per night so total will be 4800Rs but oyo support told that it will only cost 2800Rs because the rest will be paid by oyo. I don't understand the reason why Oyo can't just deduct 2800 from my 4700 which was already paid in advance, I even asked the oyo support about this and he told he can't as this is not the procedure, Never book any oyo online and never ever pay any money in advance specially when the customer service is urging you to do it, the oyo support was kept telling me that it is taking longer and the call might get cut and if I don't pay via gPay or Phonepe now my booking will be cancelled, new scam oyo, be aware while booking

800 for the room was good. But the service was bad, no one responds to calls, coffee given was bad! Location was pretty good

Good place to stay at the price point. Located in a good neighborhood with Axis Mall at walking distance along with multiple shops in the area for eating and other daily needs.

Have very less expectations about the rooms are small, however the hospitality and service is quite good! They have a tie with a restaurant called punjabi pind express and their food quality is quite good. I tried fried rice which is a musy try, i tried their chicken pakoda which was a little different and it is also a must try, tried their kheema which was average but good quality and quantity since they serve half and full portion both. The staff is very helpful and service is quick.

Stained bedsheets, pillows and towels.

Unwashed stained bed sheets. Broken cots. Dirty smelly rooms. Water is sold at 40 rs / litre. Bread and jam, or 3 idlis with tea is given as breakfast. I paid 10,000 and change for 5 days. Not worth the money. Bad rooms. They ask you choose between a bad meal and worst room. No soap / shampoo is given. Overall a very cheap stay for an expensive spend. Don’t be fooled by their photos

I literally hated it. There was no window in d room. 2ndly the bathroom door was broke. No lock was there. Undersheets were very dirty. The room itself was way too kuch claustrophobic.

Not value for money at all. Rooms are very congested.
Hospitality is pathetic. The evening repectionsist doesn't know about their customer and has a ride attitude. Room AC wasn't working and that guy wasn't even bothered.

Oyo townhouse properties are supposed to be better in terms of quality. This one, though located centrally, was ill maintained. The room was dirty, bedsheet was stained and bathrooms didn't have any toilet paper.
The bathroom door was also not closing properly. Will not recommend it.

They Don't accommodate foreigners but its not mentioned anywhere.
Also place is in a barren land there is nothing.

Very pleasing experience. Good behavior at the reception and reported issue was fixed instantly with total resolution.

Actual room was very different from the pic they are showing on website. Room was also not cleaned properly. They have not maintained the hygiene properly.

The service was really good. Smooth check-in and check-out. Staff behaviour was also very good. Room was neat and clean. Washroom was also spacious and clean. Overall very good experience.

Rooms are much smaller than the appear in the photo. We were provided a very small room with no chair.
The water in the shower area was getting clogged.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in.staff behaviour is top notch. Not matter how many times you call them they respond well manneredly.cleanliness and covid hygiene is well maintained. Rooms are modern and equipped with all amenities.overall experience is awesome.

They have huge attitudes problems. I was extremly disappointed with oyo servie.this hotel insult us, didn't allowed checked in.they have to chocked oneday.they will never run business like this.they don't know how to speek how to behave.they use slag is this hoteliers behavior i never know that.oyo take 9000, i cancel my booking and now they are not responded my reply and call

I have had a stay in this place with few of my friends as in this CoViD affected time, hanging out outside could potentially be risky, so we opted for an OYO, and we thought what could be better than a Townhouse. So even though the Townhouse rooms cost way more than even Capital O or OYO Flagship or Collection O rooms in same vicinity, we opted for it as we thought it would offer us the best in class facilities one could avail.

Now, let us come to the detailed review. The place is situated in a nice location, near to the Water Tank No. 3 of New Town, close to New Town Bus Terminus. So reaching the place is easy. Now, the rooms are okayish. We booked two rooms, as we have four friends, though each room costs us the same amount of money, one room was bigger than the other, where as the smaller room has a huge toilet, almost as big as the room itself, if not bigger than that. Secondly, the staffs are not well trained. The restaurant facility is closed, and there is no prior information about it, nor on the app neither during the check-in. We couldn't get ice cubes, and on asking chilled water, they said it would take 30 minutes. We called them twice at a span of an hour and half, but they didn't provide it and then one of us had to go downstairs to ask for the water which was then delivered after waiting for 15 minutes more. This type of negligence is extremely unexpected. Thirdly, they didn't provide us with any Welcome Kit which is a signature OYO thing. Fourthly, the air conditioner in one of the rooms was not working properly and we informed that to the reception, but they didn't fix it. So we had to spend the night without the AC working. Fifthly, there was only one elevator and the elevator door was non-automatic, and every time someone forget it to close properly, one had to go up or down by stairs, even if they are living in 4 floor. That can be really hazardous for old people or people with luggage or someone who is in real hurry.

The good things were, there was constant supply of cold and hot water in the toilet. The rooms and the lavatories are very well maintained and clean. The lighting and room decor was nice. They allow outside food and beverages and let you enjoy as you want. The complementary morning breakfast was really good to taste.

But the overall experience was not that nice when we think about the pocket pinch we had. The rooms cost us almost one and half thousand per night, and for that hefty amount of money, one must provide some better staff facility, better rooms and obviously functioning ACs. I have stayed in OYOs outside Kolkata, in OYO flagship hotel and that provided a lot better service than this.

I know it is a way bit long a review than one wish to read, but I think this detailed review will help one decide whether to book this place or not.

The Best OYO townhouse you can probably get in Newtown. Newtown bus stand is just 5 mins away.

Provided sanitized and clean room. Room service was very good. Breakfast was good but lunch and dinner menu had limited options. Communication is average. Mostly depend on Ola/Uber. All support staff were friendly and ready to help you.

Hotel is away from city rush in kolkata. Peaceful location with good amenities provided by OYO.

Place was good and clean. I stayed here for 2 days and got very comfortable. Staff behavior was also good.

Township is a better concept by OYO. Need attention to have user friendly slim pillows for good sleep without neck ache. Also food quality need improvement. Although it is costing high but comparatively quality is not as par. Also for this Townhouse Elevator has issue as it was not descending upto ground. Not seen adequate Fire fighting arrangement.

The room was nice and spacious. The wifi connection was weak and there was lack of man power. The kitchen also needs improvement.

This time my experience was very bad with OYO. In my room bedsheet, pillow cover, blanket and washroom were dirty. TV was there in the room but due to because of some connection problem i was unable to use it. And even after discussing this tv problem with the receptionist my problem does not resolved.
The kitchen service was also very poor i had order my dinner and even after waiting for more than one hour they had delivered uncooked food to my room.

I am really very disappointed.

And, I personally doesn't recommend OTH 209 Habitat Newtown, Kolkata to anyone.

Best in class. Highly recommended. Nice room and location. Three stars to four stars rated rooms available. Parking is also available. Book via oyo and mmt to get great deals. Behavior of the hotel staffs are also very good. Just 5 mins of distance from newton bus stop.

I had booked for 19th Oct and also made the payment in advance. When we reached the venue it was under construction and we was not informed about that. I am very much regular here every staff know me here but still i haven't got any call and then i had to stay in one of properties which was nearby and it cost me INR 2800 it was really the worst experience one can ever come across

Suspecious activities all around. They don't clear the room. They dump everything under the floor carpet. Room smells very badly
