Yesterday I went with my family to celebrate my wife’s b’day. Whn I reached I saw they said outside 2000 per pack but service and food quality was bad is overrated. And hookah is also mild it was also overrated. They charged amount high but service quality nd food quality is bad. I will suggest if u want to make your day plz don’t go there

We took seats in the covered AC area as the open air space was drowned in very loud music. The 360 degree view is fascinating as there is no structure even close to its height in the vicinity.

Most of the Bar menu 's are not available. The cover charge is too high for the kind of service is provided.
To at all value for money. Not recommended.

Disappointing food, disappointing service. It has deteriorated badly. Not worth the money charge of bad food. We order continental food. Firstly there waiters didn't understand the menu itself, then they called his supervisor.he also knew nothing, till chef was called to explain what the food was. Chicken was stiff, cheeze was not appropriate. Rice was tasteless. Pretty bad. Please avoid Ozora. At the same cost there are much better options in Kolkata

A lovely place to spend your evening. Had an amazing office party. The service was just too good. They offered us free shots also at the end.

They talk so rudely. I just ring them to know about the price of sheesha
and ask. May I know the price of sheesha. The person who pick up the call.directly told me we don't tell anything over the phone. If you want to know the price then u have to visit. Then hung up the call. But I have a question. If you guys don't assist your customer over the phone. Then why did you put your number in Google

Heavily overpriced food that dosent taste upto the mark.lot of cheaper restaurants have better tasting food in lower prices.so less quantity ozora provides its shocking.the rooftop tables were small and were malfunctioning.our food would've fallen down any moment.the only good thing is the view.otherwise it's not worth it.don't recommend.

One of the most beautiful rooftop bars and restaurants in Kolkata. You can feel Kolkata as like a bird. Cost is high but it's worth it. I hope you will enjoy it.

Excellent place, food and the atmosphere, overall the service and those that are serving and keeping the place neet and clean.

The management staffs were quite rude, there attitude expressed as if they were doing some kind of favour to us. Plz try to mend your behavior, it's not expected from you guys. Leaving these apart the food was good.

My friend wanted to visit this place because of the rooftop ambience he heard of, so we went ahead and visited this place, when we approached the reception we were informed that stags weren't allowed and they dont mention it in their website because its an in house rule and the staff behavior at the reception did not feel comfortable, anyway after reading the reviews about the staff behavior and food I am happy that we weren't allowed, the only highlight of this place is the rooftop, thats it.

Food was good, nice ambience they are charging 1000 bucks for terrace which is nonrefundable but redeemable, which is disappointing. Food was slightly costly

The ambience was cool and fun. We went there at 4pm so it wasn't that crowded. Opted for outdoor seats. Enjoyed both the sunset and the city lights in the evening. The music was groovy and the food was fine. A bit expensive, but we had a great time.

The ambience is just too damn good! One of the best places to dine out in Kolkata. The view from the 20th floor rooftop is just mesmerizing.

Booked table at Ozora on 10-07-21 through dine out app with 20% discount advertised. At reception they asked for compulsory cover charges of 6000, when informed about dine out offer they assured it will be adjusted at the time of billing. However later they refused to adjust the upfront payment and we got the discount on only the balance amount. The staff was rude and entitled. Food was good but highly over priced. The ambience is good at the sky lounge but the resturant is dull.

Worst experience
We went there and they said that only couples are allowed and i told them it is not mentioned in your website, They are saying it is a inhouse protocol that has been instructed to them.
They should have atleast mention that stacks are not allowed, we travelled so far and reached there in such a bad weather condition. It is very humiliating and embarrassing at the same time.

The stars are only for the ambience whereas the food is very average compared to the price tag. In case you are going there, be ready to pay ₹1000 per head as cover charges which ofcourse can be redeemed. The bad thing about it is if the billing amount is less than the total cover charge, then they won’t refund you the amount. So if you are going as a couple, you need to spend a minimum of ₹2000.

I have to admire the location, the quality of their food & their staff, but I wish those were the only things you’d need to keep a customer coming

Me and my friends went there on Saptami night for the disco. The ambience was great, and we have a great server Rohit who deserves a special mention. The downside, and it’s a big one, are the prices.

I’ve lived in the U. K. 5 years and never had I had to spend ₹1900 for a double vodka Redbull. That’s nearly £19! It’s ridiculous and the bill gave us a feeling that we’ll need to sell our kidneys for the freedom and fun of clubbing. Rohit also did a good job of upselling, but we declined wherever possible.

My verdict would be to go if you’re willing to spend upwards of around ₹2500 per person. The cover charge of ₹1000 is going to disappear in a jiffy, just one drink order. It’s either that, or don’t drink!

It’s a shame that for a genuinely nice place, Ozora is so expensive that it definitely does not help to democratise clubbing/disco in Kolkata. It’s a hype, that’s seriously overhyped.

It's famous for its ambience. Food is good as well. Entry point can be a bit tricky for the fresh visitors. A good place to spend some significant amount of leisure time.

The rooftop view is awsum, but since we went in a very large group during Durga Puja, we couldn't sit there. But the ambience inside is good too. Food is good, nothing extraordinary, drinks are good.

The ambience is good. Rooftop option is there. But they take service charge.and one thing I didn't like is they are too late in serving anything specialy food.

The USP of a restaurant doesn't only depend on its food, it also depends on the behaviour of it staff. Even after you reserve a table beforehand, you will have to stand behind a long queue and still won't manage to get a table, which is a huge drawback. This is just the beginning of your patience, as after you reach the rooftop area, and somehow manage to get a table.you'll have to keep waiting for someone to attend you. And if by any chance, you are provided with a seat which is just beside the loudspeaker, and you inform them that you are having problem due to loud music, as you are sitting just beside it, them will very gently deny you, and ask you to adjust with it, though seats are available in the other end. Even after begging them, they will very politely say, mam/sir, you should be great full that you are provided with a seat, and don't look for other seat, as other people will come and sit over there, and they will wait for other customers to come, so that they can provide it to them, but even if you ask them to change your table they will gently deny you with a smile, and because you are disturbing them with your unjustified demands, the max they will do is physically move your table 5cm, so that the music don't effect you anymore. Anyways the ambience was too good, as no one was following any covid protocols.
P. S - This was my second visit to this place, my first visit was truly overwhelming, so I ended up visiting the second time. But won't repeat my mistake again.

Went there on Ashtami and naturally, place was crowded. First of all, the lady at the counter outside the restaurant was absolutely mannerless and uncouth. Her way of speaking was very very undermining. Anyway so she informed us that if we wanted to sit inside the restaurant then there were empty tables right now but for the rooftop terrace area seating, we have to go in, stand at the bar area, place our order, wait for 35 mins and then we would be alloted a seat. So we chose the later option as the main reason for coming to Ozora was to enjoy a meal under the sky. We went in and stood near the bar area, there was this very helpful guy called Rohit who gave us a seat after 20 mins. All was good we were happy and almost at the end of our meal waiting for our dessert to arrive.so we were clicking a selfie when suddenly an Ozora staff lady in black trousers came up to us and said there's a huge waiting so please hurry up. This was absolutely shocking! Our dessert had not yet arrived and that was the reason we were waiting. And this lady comes up to us and demands to leave the table! Their service is slow.it's not our fault! After taking 1000rs cover charge per person while entry this is absolutely not tolerable.also, the food was just okay not bad but nothing exceptional.its just the rooftop ambience that gets the place going.i really hope Kolkata gets more rooftop places like Bombay and we don't have to go to such places where the staff literally treat you like dogs.

I visited during the pandemic so this might not be very fair. Food was good, we had to sit indoors due to the rains.but the main dining space didn't have enough space. We managed to sit away since we were 6 people. I found the lighting too dim.actually felt depressing. I suppose the outside sitting would've made a better impression. All in all.just okay.

Amazing ambience. Food is good too. Perfect for date night. Happy hours before 5: 30 pm. Quality crowd with courteous staff.

Had dinner with my wife. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome and the service guys was very accommodating. Will be back definitely!

Visited the place on the evening of Muharram. Dry day so no alcohol and also no cover charge for rooftop seating. View was just outstanding. But when comes to food or mocktail, a big disappointment. Food order was pan fried lamb and chicken sheekh kebab. Quantity was really small and taste was bland. Mocktails are worst. Not recommended for a foodie.

Best place to go out for a date. This is one of the best rooftop ever. What an ambience. Will visit again and again.

In short this place gave me headache. Very bad DJ, late food service, drink glasses are not at all sober, take rps 1000/person only for choosing rooftop area and its expensive too. Im super disappointed.

What should a start with, to describe the beauty of this terrace! We could see the whole city at one go. Highly recommended!

One of the best Rooftop Resto Bar in South Kolkata, Best time to visit at the Evening for a glass of your poison and enjoy the Kolkata Skyline. A must visit place for all party hoopers.

I am in love with this place. Ozora wedding/ banquet hall and the roof top restaurant are on the same floor. The banquet hall is fit for 150 people and well decorated. You can enjoy the view of Kolkata from here. And the rooftop is one of the best place to hangout with friends.but sometimes it gets too crowdy

Great location, stunning view, good food but points lost due to bad service and not up to the mark bartending! That sums up our experience of Ozora!
We loved the ambience, the breathtaking vista and the food was pretty good, even excellent for the soups!
But even a newbie in the service industry should know that here what really gets the moolah is service with a smile! None of the personnel - from the lady in reception to the floor manager or the waiting staff had a smile on their face! Their expressions ranged from mildly displeased (reception) to bored (floor manager) to harried and anxious (waiting staff)! The person who took the order took at least 30 minutes to serve the soups, and came back 10 minutes after we had finished our soups to say that he had forgotten to place the order for our starters! They were polite, but cold and inhospitable, not to say inefficient!
Then served our Gimlets after we had asked for it at least 5-6 times! They charge double the regular amount charged in comparable destinations, but were incapable of serving even a basic drink like Gimlet properly!
Other than the soups, everything was ordinarily tasty! Nothing great to write about but definitely competent!
If you're going for lunch, take your table between 12.00 - 12.30 pm! After that you would have to holler to get their attention even if you need water!
I would ask the management to look into the above issues, if they want patrons to revisit time and again!
