Padma Sweets

UPDATE- Lowering my review from 4 to a 1 star. This is because I found a small cockroach in the jalebis that I took from here. Most sweet shops here in West Bengal prepare the items in extremely unhygienic conditions. Request all of you to exercise caution while you buy anything.

One of the better places for sweets and sweet meat in the entirety of Dum Dum Park. The sweetened yogurt and samosas are worth killing for. Have been a regular customer for more than 18 years. Definitely recommend this place.

A must try confectionery shop of DumDum Park area. Every kind of sweets are very rich in taste and specifically their simple Rosogolla is just awesome. Everyone should try that atleast once.

Tonight I bought some laddus and they are just worst. Very poor quality. They smells bad. I throw them all in my dustbin. Yaak!

The following insect found in sweets purchased yesterday from shop. It was slightly bigger in size. It led to vommiting.
I used to purchase from this shop but now one will think before purchasing these kind of sweets which endanger our health.

You will only flies and mosquitoes hovering over the sweets. I went but did not buy anything.

Specially "Amm Doi" is available here in summer.

Different kinds of Sandesh (specialy Kachgolla) is Good.

But Langcha, Pantua is not good.

Nice, basic sweet shop. Quality is good. Don't expect some fancy items but will satisfy your sweet curving for sure.
