1.worst room service I ever had experienced in North Bengal.
2. Rooms were okay and nothing was special.
3. Food quality was also not good.
4.compared to all facilities, room rent was quite high.

I will recommend not to stay here because the hostel service is also better than this.

My experience at this home stay was horrible. Please don't go by ratings. Most of them are fake.
1. It is about 4 Km from main centre.
2. You can get many hotels and homestay in this area at much cheaper price
3. Rooms were very dirty. Bedsheet and blanket were not cleaned, infested with insects. I got skin disease.
4. Both deluxe and super deluxe are same in poor quality, just different in size.
5. They have deliberately kept the lighting in rooms dim, so that customers cannot see the dirt and flaws
6. Ambience in room was highly depressogenic
7. Bedside lamps were filled with insects

You can see the kanchenjungha from the room. Otherwise good for nothing.
Minimum room service isn't available here.

The room was good. Staff also good. The view from room was awesome. U can watch those scenery all day long. The location is perfect if you are new to darjeeling. Affordable.

Stayed from 23rd October 2022 to 28th October 2022. Overall nice homestay. Great Kanchanjunga view right from bed. Food option is limited, quality is good but quantity for couple is less. Toy Train can be viewed right from balcony. Darjeeling city can be viewed from balcony. Most important, you have 180 degree panorama view of the Kanchanjunga. Could have given a 5 star but somehow I felt a little insecure as the most costly room (Luxury room) on the 2nd floor has access from outside and anyone can come up the stairs. Also most of the time you wont find anyone in the reception area. You have to ask for Tea supplements everyday. Quality of stay was good. Toilet is well equipped with modern accessories and 24 hours hot water. 3 kms away from all noise & crowd of Mall area. But that was the plan to get rid of all city pollution for atleast 5 days. We enjoyed our stay at the Pahari Soul and would recommend others to stay also.

Pros:
1.you can see the Kanchenjunga right from your window. I took their best room with the balcony which they charged 1500/- a night. The view was absolutely to die for.
2. Staff was very helpful and polite.
3. The food was really cheap but great. They always made sure to ask me three times a day when I stayed in if I wanted to a meal. Not everything was always available (ofc because it’s not a hotel) but they made sure there’s enough food on the plate to satisfy two people (even tho I went alone lol)
4. You can ask the people their for taxi services. They’ve got contacts and can hitch you up.
5. Solo women travellers are allowed to stay.
6. The room is beautiful and the bathroom was nice and clean.
7. They provided tea bags and mugs and kettle, also slippers and I loved these tiny touches.
Cons:
1. It’s a little far from the Mall. You’ll have to take a car which cost me 300/- one way but I think I was ripped off so just bargain well. Or you can walk up, I did that once but the road was way uphill.
2. The toy train line is just below and it makes an awful lot of racket while going and whistling.

View is good.
Rest everything is worst.
Hotel authority do not have any responsibility for guests.
Better to avoid this place.

Worst place to stay I've visited ever. Physical experience is completely different from photos uploaded in page. No receptionist, no room service, even they don't provide drinking water at night. Very bad odors comes from blankets. I just want to say "NO".

In the beginning we booked a room for 3days & paid in advance too but after sometime we were informed of the room being booked for the latter 2days & have to leave it was such an inconvenience.
The mall road is 30min walking distance

As u feel like you are a garbage. And they treat u as a servant.
They only knohow to make money from tourist.

Food quality is very worst.ans prices are sky high.

Above all, they misbehave with thoose with whom they do business

I would never choose to stay in a hotel where they will treat you badly with your money

I would recommend paying another 100 to 200 ra more to stay in a better place where atleast someone will help you if need.

Behaviour could be a bit more humble but overall good service. The view is really nice, one can see the Himalayas including kanchanjangha and the toy train also, but it is placed in a very noisy place.

It's one of the best homestay in Darjeeling. All rooms have the view of kanchanjungha.it's affordable.it has two wheeler parking space inside.it is located at Dali.just outside the homestay the shared taxi for market is available.

No word is sufficient to describe the place ️. All the stuffs were amazing and especially the owner Manish sir is fabulous. I suggest you that just take their homemade food at reasonable price it is awesome.if you need any type of information regarding home stay just contact the number which is provided

We stayed 2 night 3 Days. Ground Floor rooms are Dam. Room service is very poor. But location and view is good. 3km outside of Darjeeling Mall Road.

It was great experience staying @ Pahari Soul Homestay. Some positive points about this place
1. The rooms were clean with required amenities like blankets, bed heater, geyser, electric kettle
2. Nice hospitality
3. Food was excellent in both quality & quantity.
4. The owner Mrs. Shoyeta Chatterjee deserves an special mention bcoz of their very polite and friendly behavior.

The only negative point about the hotel is that it is some 3-4 kms away from Darjeeling mall. Otherwise this hotel is just awesome.

If I visit Darjeeling again then definitely I'll stay @ Pahari Soul for sure again.

Best part is frm here u can see the whole Himalayan range frm our hotel room.but sorry to say the rooms r dirty towels r also very dirty basically everything is dirty rooms r soggy.yak rooms are.l give 1 star for rooms.

This is a wonderful homestay to book in Darjeeling. A serene place away from the crowd of Mall road and not too far away from it as well in Dali. The food is exception with very nominal price and staffs are really nice. We had a discussion with the owner who is gem of a person and ready to help as much as possible. Only feedback is to do a bit of renovation to make this place a go-to one in Darjeeling

I loved their hospitality. Rooms are good, neat and clean. Kanchenjunga mountains are visible from rooms only.

I visited this place and I am super satisfied.the rooms are spacious and staff behaviour is very nice.and the food is also very nice.the main reason for me visiting the place is their parking area.they have a super safe parking area for two wheelers.and many of us bikers face this problem of parking in Darjeeling.so yes it is one of the best hotel/homestay with a beautiful view and toy train line right infront

Literally the best of the best. If you are willing to have a breathtaking view other than lazy walks to the mall road hotels you just found the perfect hotel/homestay. Affordable rooms, great room service, good food, good wifi all in a reasonable price tag.juat go through the photos you'll know.

Stayed there for three days. It was a wonderful experiance to stay over here. Owner Ms. Sweeta has a nice and helpful personality. Rooms are big and have a beautiful view of city and Mountain. Food quality is good in taste and quantity. Over all must recommended.

A nice place to stay and dine here. It is 3.5 km before the famous Darjeeling Mall. It's best possession is the location and the foods. One can view the full Kanchanjangha range just sitting inside the rooms. The foods served are awesome and with much cheaper rate. Other facilities like cleanliness, service etc are also very satisfactory. Only disadvantage is that if you wish to visit Mall or Market, you have to take a shuttle cab from the Dali cab stand, just crossing the main road by Rs. 15.00 per head and same also for return journey. After all, a worth place to visit.

The Rooms has a great view of Kanchanjunga & the whole city of Darjeeling. The Rooms clean & comfy. Other then that everyone is great the washrooms are clean though the room in which I stayed the geyser was not working. Other then that everything is wonderful

One of the best views of Kangchenjunga in Darjeeling from the room's private balcony and rooms are well dacorated with all the amenities (Geyser, Electric Kettle, bed heater, etc.). But it's too far from mall road and share taxis are only available till 7 PM after that taxi rent are too costly.

It’s a overall nice experience staying in a home stay where you get a feel of staying as locals. They have their own cook for getting home cooked food. Obviously food is local and tastes local with reasonable price. It has a very good view of Kangchenjunga mountain if there are no clouds.
We visited in group and few bed heaters and geysers were not working. After complaining about them they could fix one but few others couldn’t be fixed and we had to stay like that. We also asked for bonfire which we had confirmed before booking but they didn’t setup that and tried to avoid it.

The Room Quality Is Very Poor, It's Like 500 Rupees Basic Hotel. The Bathroom Mixer Was Broken And The Caretaker Told Us This Is The Mixer System (Nob Will Come In Your Hand). There Is No Almira In Your Room. Poor Lighting Condition. So Finally Cancelled And Refunded By MakeMyTrip.

Very nice place. Secure and well protected place. You can stay with your family and children. They will enjoy the toy train of darjeeling with it whistle blowing.

Excellent place to stay, mountain view from room, excellent neat and clean room and accessories. I loved this place.one thing u have to keep in mind that its 3 km away from mall situated at Dali, so u have to take a share taxi costing 20 bucks per person to reach the marketplace (nearby mall)

Location is bad, to reach darjeeling there is 2 options, 1. Walk 3-4 km, 2. Take a local car from dali to darjeeling taxi stand (10/- INR per head), ghum-darjeeling taxi (20/- INR per head)
View from the home stay is good.
But I would recommend if you have 100-200 INR more to spend then choose another hotel or homestay, because anyway 100~200 will be spent for transportation.

I stayed in pahari soul this puja. It's near dali. Darjeeling chowrasta is 1.5km by car. Very good rooms and main thing is the view from the room. Clear kanchanjangha from windows. Staff behaviour is very decent polite. Bathroom is very clean with gesear.enjoyed a lot. I stayed in mall also but I will prefer this hotel for future visit. Thankyou so much madam (owner) for such an excellent experience.

Located about 2 km from centre but share busse get y3there and back no problem. Great view from balcony. Clean, good service, lovely, helpful owner, food was good, bit cold and damp in room, good hot shower, electric blanket, heater can be rented for room.

Well arranged place for stay. Around 4km from Darjeeling. Near to the main road.
The host is very helpful.
He even arranged for site seeing at a comparatively less amount than the other taxi drivers available. Even though the driver was rude and not professional at all and was not willing to take us all the spots promised host did find a Solution to it.
Bed has got a electric heating blanket which was helpful. But still there is a need of room heater during colder days.
There is a huge delay for the food to be delivered. It take atleast 1.30 hours for your order to be delivered.
Rooms and toilets are very clean and well arranged
There is a budhist temple (dali monastery) few metres behind Pahari Soul. You can spend few hours there and you can refresh your mind with fullness. The ambience so soothing.

The place is just awesome. U will get a full view of the famous kanchanjanga in a sunny day. We loved this place. U can get a full view of the entire area from your balcony which is just mesmerizing. We enjoyed the cold night standing in our balcony. I am recommending everyone to have a stay at Pahari Soul. Next time I am definitely staying there without doing any other search for hotel.

We had a very rewarding stay in clean and fresh rooms. Views even on a foggy day were magnificent and breathtaking. The hospitality and good natured helpfulness extended to us by the owner and her staff is something I hope for wherever I go for a stay.

'''dont call it a lodge''. As it is on road side traffic sounds disturb us. The food prepared here is tasty. Above average Stay.

It was very good.like the location and ambiance were perfect for couples, family or it didn't matter whom.beautiful bhaktapur darbar square view.everything great guys but u guys need to work a little harder on food quality and it's essence, I didn't wanted to teach such experienced people anything but seriously guys consider making your food a bit authentic as it is supposed to be.specially the choyila was very poor in taste. The place was located in the heart of the town. Best hotel with good price. We arrived in nyt, we had not pre ordered any food, still the cook too pain to prepare. You can have a beautiful Kanchenjunga from your window.

Budget friendly and offers a wonderful view of the Kanchenjunga. Staff service is also fine. A very wonderful experience altogether.

Excellent place. Large rooms with all necessary amenities. I took the ground floor room which had a great view. It was a short steep walk from the roads.staff were kind enough to help all the time even at early morning 3AM.

Other than the access to the place. The place is just awesome. And please do not go to the tiger hills the view of kanchanjunga from this place is way better

Excellent Home stay in Darjeeling. Very good spacious rooms. Great food. Good vistas. Very accomodating hostess - arranged breakfast at 7 am when requested

Once room booking completed, we send request to provide room on upper floor which was done. Good size room comfortable mattresses & soft pillows. Washroom was clean. The room has Balcony in front but not accessible from room directly hence not private. There is nice view of mountain when there is no fog & one can see toy train passing by from your room.

There lacks any intercom facilities within premises. We had cell no of Sameer & Shoyeta unfortunately at many occasion both were unavailable. We walked upto the dining hall to find someone which was very inconvenient.

They do take order for food & serve them either in room or dining hall. Foods were delicious & large in portions. One Thali was good enough for two persons.

Suggestions:

1. The height of the Toilet get is not adequate need to raise.
2. Install an exhaust Fan in Toilet
3. Adjust the portion of food to suit one person to avoid wastage or explain the guest about the quantity of food in Thali.

Stayed here at room no 8 from 19.06.2019 to 21.06.2019, Worst hotel of my life, chocked wash basin, overflowing bathroom water coming to room which is always wet even after complaint no body listerns, bed smelled of urine which they do not change even after several complaints, no inter com available, very far from bus stand and market.
Never ever think of coming here. I give it minus 5 rating

Far away from city and market so taxies are difficult to get back to hotel from market. Noisy place as toy train goes exact below the hotel. But affordable

Amazing Place, people and food! If you are staying here book ground floor rooms. They are the best. And you do not need to visit tiger hills as Kanchenzonga is right in front of you. This hotel gives you better view of Kanchenzonga then any other place. Must visit!
