My birth place and must visit by me. Geography of this place has been updated dynamicly by building of 4 lanes flyover. Many industrial revolution and development would be seen in coming years here

পশ্চিম বর্ধমানের শেষ প্রান্তে অজয় তীরবর্তী গ্রাম এটি। একেবারে গ্রাম না বলে বিশেষত খনি অঞ্চলের সেমি টাউনের ছোঁয়া বললেও চলবে। বীরভূমের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ আছে। Nh 60 এর উপর দিয়ে চলে গেছে।

ভালো বাজার। দরকারি জিনিসপত্র সবই পাওয়া যায়। তাছাড়া রেলওয়ে, ব্যাংক, ডাকঘর, স্কুল-কলেজ, পুলিশ থানা ও BDO office আছে। তবে medical facility আরও উন্নত হওয়া প্রয়োজন।
