It was horrible experience, no room service, not even for tea or coffee, Intentionally misleading pictures given on Google which will never match practically, during breakfast food was finished every time we ordered something, no one came to clean the room ever, the photos of room was totally different from the photo shown during booking or on social media. Staff behavior was too aggressive and straight way refused to serve food during breakfast and insulted. Also, during breakfast buffet was not available, the breakfast they served was not even worth 100 Rs. Pathetic experience of my life.

It's a residential complex where some units panthashala is using as hotel rooms. Food is very good. Service very slow. It is between bolpur n ilambazar. 8kms far from the main shantiniketan area.

First of all this place is very far from Shantiniketan (10km) which is outskirts of the city. Nearby there is not much infrastructure and stores (like none) which makes this place very bad for vacation. They don't provide free breakfast and their WiFi doesn't work as mentioned. The rooms are good. They charge 500Rs each for an extra person which doesn't make much sense. I will say overall this is not a good choice to visit Shantiniketan. You can find much better hotels which are rather cheap.

Nice guest house, rooms are clean, staff are well behaved, Foods are tasty.area is well secured with guards. For spending 2,3 days this place is best.

A good family housing. The rents are reasonable. Have basic facilities like AC, hot water, mini refrigerator, tea, coffee maker etc.the restaurant food is tasty and reasonable. It’s a bit far from the town around 9kms. Those who owns their own vehicle can easily stay here. It’s secure and well maintained property.

Worst experience! Visit on Holi 2023
Staffs are horrible! Charged extra money! In Buffet food was inadequate and poor quality. I booked through website it was totally misleading and fake information are given. Please avoid this horrible place

I visited this place during Holi 2023. The experience was totally horrible and shocking. They take booking through which is totally misleading. They fool customers to make profit. I book room for 3 persons but they charged extra money for two others 700/- per head. The room was not even equipped for two my father had sleep on floor. The Gyser was not working properly and the room was horrible. Food system was bad complementary breakfast was not provided they charge extra money for it.

Worst kindly don't fall in thier trap it's just like the trunk of elephant and actual teeth is just bogus a 1bhk flat that also without lift.kindly don't visit

Situated on Suri-Bolpur Road, around 9km from the main town, it's a cozy and spacious place to stay and relax during your vacation here at Shantiniketan.
Rooms are a bit pricey and not spacious, food is good and homely, however prices are moderate to high. I'd suggest you to get a booking online or via phone and then cancel it after coming here and then avail the same room at their given lower price.
There is limited parking space available at the backside of the restaurant. The area is a residential ad hoc committee, residents might also keep their vehicles in the same space at night.
However, the society campus itself is very open and spacious. Filled with natural beauty and Shantiniketan themed artworks, it definitely captures the charm and stays true to its name.

Situated on Bolpur ILambazar Road, Panthasala is a nice property. Very welcoming and helpful staffs. Food is good and quantity as well. And their Cafe cum restaurant ambiance is worth mentioning.

I had first visited Panthashala in the year 2019 where we had been offered some of their best rooms at Rs. 1250/- per night. And as we were told that the only way to book rooms is through their website, so I had planned another trip to Shantiniketan but booked Panthashala now for rooms in November, 2022, as per my previous good experience. But boy was I highly disappointed! The fact is, the website had made several categories of rooms with misleading pictures which doesn't really give one a clear picture, as to what each category of room has to offer. Any room that had charged us Rs. 1250/- per night (base room), under a common sense, would now be ranging between Rs. (1500 to 2000). That's what was my initial concept. But I have been highly proven wrong. We had taken 2 AC Deluxe rooms for 4 people and the website had charged us Rs. 2500/- (including tax) for each room, with a total of Rs. 5000 for 2 nights (Still understandable since our second trip was on a peek season). But before payment I had called the manager of the property several times and he had assured me that the rooms were of same quality that I had experienced in 2019. And I had specially requested them to give us rooms where we can receive ample amount of sunlight. Upon reaching the property, we were provided with the worst kind of rooms they had, with no sunlight and all windows and balcony facing other buildings. And when I had asked the house help about the confusing scenario, he tells me that the rooms which I had received in 2019, now fall under Super Deluxe rooms charging around Rs. 4k per room/ per night. And we can't even upgrade because they have been given to some TV star performers for their performances in the property, that very evening. So, what's the point of pre-booking rooms if we will be provided rooms on a first come and first serve basis? To the manager! Do not dare to even say a word to your boy, revealing your cheap atrocities to your guests, because it's you who had decided to give away your best rooms for free to certain TV celebrities.
Edit after the management reply: You should have informed me about the dates while I called your property during our pre-book. Why haven't you informed us?

Worst location, worst enviorment, poor food quality and has very least varity, this is not hotel it is and guest house, room is full of insects, bed is very small.very unhygenic drinking water.

I have a studio apartment over there. The house keeping in the common areas are excellent. The ambience is very very peaceful. It's the best place to unwind. The very loved Nolen gur processing is near by and one cen get pure product at only Rs100/Kg.

Worst hotel. It's about 14 km away from Shantiniketan. Rooms were completely different from the pictures. They took 2500/- for each day. The rooms were full of insects. It's a residential complex they claim it as a hotel. Rooms service was too poor. If I want to have dinner i have to order it before 5-6 hours. Staff behaviour was terrible. All my money wasted. Please dont book this hotel.

The AC super delux rooms are very spacious and apt for family travelling with kids. The food prepared by the hotel restaurant is also very tasty as well as in sufficient quantity. The staffs are also very polite, cooperative and helpful. My only suggestion to this hotel is to provide toothbrush kit and dressing mirror in all the rooms, otherwise I am extremely satisfied with the stay and their service.

It was a good resturant. The view outside the resturant is pretty good. You can find some cottage there. Don’t know if one can rent here. About the food, I wanna say that the food quality is awesome. We went in a group of 22 people. Ordered non veg thali. They served us with great care with one by one item. I wanna say the bong food is awesome here.

Good hospitality, spacious premises, beautiful location. Surrounded by paddy fields, this serene property is located quite a few kilometres from Bolpur town. Plus, the food is good.

The location is in the outskirts of Shantiniketan precisely near Ilambazar road. It's like a huge housing complex where some rooms are available as hotels. The environment is quite good and you will also enjoy evening strolls around. Rooms are good for the price where every facility is available. Behaviour and food is also good.
Just one point while booking it's worth to call them and ask in which floor they are giving you the rooms as in most towers there are no lift and elderly people are present with you then it will be a big issue if you are alloted rooms in the top floor.

The environment is good. The rooms are nice but the food is okay, lunch is good but the dinner was not upto the mark. The staff members are cooperative but the manager's behaviour is rude. They also do not comply with their services. They say they provide free wifi but they were not able to provide the correct password.

We stayed here for a night. 4 adults. We were allotted 2 rooms with a double bed in each. The rooms were clean and had all modern amenities like a/c, geyser, /electric kettle and a mini fridge. The complex grounds made for a lovely morning/evening walk. The in-house restaurant served good food. The staff were polite. Booking was a breeze. The prices were very competitive. The place is located about 10 km from the Shantiniketan University area and about 2 km from Banga Lakshmi and other farmhouse-cum-restaurants. It helps to have a personal car if one wishes to stay here and go sight-seeing in Shantiniketan. The place has free parking. The only problem was occasional power cuts. They have backup power but it doesn't power the a/c. Also, the administrators respond very rudely to anyone who posts an unfavourable review by calling them mentally unstable. I don't understand why. The staff are polite and we didn't face any abuse. Altogether, comfortable, clean, convenient and safe stay.

It was great experience at Panthshala. We stayed there for 2 nights. The behaviour and service were quite appreciable. The location is bit away from proper Santiniketan. Overall it was an amazing experience.

It's a beautiful place. Rooms were clean. Room service was prompt. Food served were good in taste. Good place for kids.have parking zone and kids playing area too.

THIS IS A RIP OFF. NEVER - I REPEAT - NEVER VISIT THIS HELL HOLE. THEY ARE NOTJING BUT CHEATS. THEY SHOULD BE IN EITHER A JAIL OR IN A LUNATIC ASYLUM. I REPEAT - DO NOT VISIT AT ANY COST

AVOID. This is not a resort or hotel or even a lodge or guest house. It is a scam operation making money from unsuspecting tourists. I repeat, AVOID.

The food here is much better than a lot of the popular restaurants in town. The rooms are great and the service is also good!

Located a bit away from the hustle and bustle, it provides a nice stay. Basically it is a 1bhk flat with ac, mini fridge, television set, a wardrobe and other. One need to walk a bit to reach the restaurant which is quite pleasant in the evening.
The food in the restaurant was quite good.you need to place your order beforehand.we placed our order that day in the morning as usual came back a bit late in the evening. The food we ordered seemed to be insufficient so we asked them to make one egg bhurji or omelette.the cook in that open kitchen shouted out loud and started screaming on the boy who used to serve us food.we felt bad in front of the other guests.we were hungry so we asked for it.they could have been politely dealt with the matter.

If you are planning for pre wedding, u must try this place.the beauty of this place in evening is extremely beautiful.

It's actually 1bhk flat. Poor room service. Small rooms. Charges are like a 3 star hotel. Poor internet services. Unethical behaviour of manager, justified by false promises and overpriced rooms.

Superb staff people and the food is awesome.lovely place to stay as rooms are clean n toilet too.with your family you will enjoy to the fullest.secured and overall experience is just fantastic.peace n harmony in the lap of nature. Its bot away from Shantiniketan but you will get tuk-tuk. I would love to go again with my family n stay.

A beautiful home away from home from constructed by Shree Balaji group. It's a residential area with building complex plus villas. Open air auditorium, multiple parks with amenities for kids to play are there. Restaurant welcomes you straight ahead the entrance. Fantastic food is cooked by local women appointed specifically for the job. The show is run by manager and incharge on a shift basis. Reception and cordial nature of conversation is amazing. The place is pet friendly. Security is palpable and adequate. Surrounding sceneries are beautiful. Apart from the occasional traffic buzz on the highway by the entrance, the whole area is quiet. Looks green all around. Satisfactory parking place, even for heavy vehicles. Guard walls are secure and perimeter is CCTV monitored. AC and non-AC rooms are available for booking. Cars can be arranged for local trips. Normal commute is dependant otherwise on hired Toto or buses plying on the road. It's 10Km from Shantiniketan and 12Km from Prantik station. It's a good spot for tourists and residents alike if they like calm and quiet. In short, go there and see for yourself.

Bed mattress is extremely hard. People ready to have backpain. Staffs behaviour good. Food is good. Chicken curry is good. They charged GST, but do not give any computer generated bill. Only manual cashmemo given for food. This is illegal. Reception people cannot reply while asking. Tea coffee pouch provided in the room, but the milk pouches are all expired at least 6 months before. We have to drink without milk. They have only expired pouches in stock. Since there is no lift hence people who has problems using staircase will have tough times if ground floor room not allocated. Rooms, bathrooms are cleaned, geysers available.
